"My coworkers and I ate here on a business trip. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious. Between us, we ordered the sea scallops, burger, seared salmon, duck and chicken dishes and everyone loved their meal. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a nice restaurant in that area."

"It's been a few years since we've been to Giorgio's, and I was delighted to know that the food is still wonderful, and the friendly staff is
very welcoming. Looks as if they've "spruced up" a bit, and the restaurant maintains its charm and ambiance.

"Overall, I really like this place and will continue to frequent it. It's small but has the essence of a "hot spot" but lucky for me, is somehow kept under the radar. The food is excellent, every time. Service can be so so on occasion but overall the waitstaff is very attentive and nice. This past time things moved a little slower than normal but hey, sometimes we all just need to slow down right? This is a great spot especially for the price."

"At one point the restaurant showed a distinct interest in comfort, innovation and high standards. This seems to no longer be the case. The seasonings are now very commonplace, bland and unimaginative.....the wine list is average at best; the sommelier is gone. "I took a close gal buddy here for a birthday dinner. It was really loud and on the small side but the food was very very good. It's the kind of food that everyone is familiar with but the ingredients we excellent and the execution was well done. There's nothing super different here but if you're looking for solid american fare and somewhere nice to take someone who's not so open minded with their food--this is a good choice. The service was really flawless. Their host was extraordinarily accommodating and ran a very smooth operation on the floor. Our server was pretty good too. I would come back if I have a picky eater to entertain."

Dining seating is very odd: cramped corners in unusual geometric configurations for the most part. Also, it was crowded and very stuffy at first. "Great meal, nice place and a good time. All the food was fantastic and the waiter service was excellent. The only issue we had is that we were rushed out at the end by the host. He was always gracious but you could tell he wanted us out. He came to our table at least 5 times and pretty much stood over us at the end waiting for us to leave.
We had 630 reservations for a party of 10. We started to get pressure to leave around 830 and were eventually out by 9. It seems like they tables booked at 830 or 9 and were trying to get the next group seated.
I had a great experience and would recommend Giorgios - I just think they should leave more time between reservations."

"I went there for a family dinner. The place is quiet. The food is good and plates are huge - not overpriced.However, the place exhibits a weird feeling of fake luxury, old fashion style, and not so Italian Italian atmosphere.Waiters could be just a bit less serious and the place could pretend being a bit less fancy, and that would probably make a significant improvement.Overall, nice dinner for a pseudo formal occasion - and it's reasonably quiet, which is nice!"

"Been going here for years, food is great. Went to celebrate a friend's engagement. Had an early reservation,place was empty yet the host seated us near the door to the kitchen. I asked for another table and was told "I have reservations" and "this is a good quiet table." UH HELLO? I MADE a reservation and I DID NOT want to hear the clanging of dishes which I heard as soon as I sat down. I asked the server to see host again and a waiter was sent over. Ultimately we were given a new table."

"Giorgio's was, overall, great. We had a large party and our table wasn't ready until 15 minutes late (although we had made longtime reservations), and we had to stand in a VERY crowded bar until then. The food and service were great, though! The check was a little tricky, because we had to separate out alcohol and they had a little trouble. Overall, it was a great experience, though."

"We were a party of eight. We got to the restaurant early. They were able to sit us right away. We sat and had some drinks before we ordered. We were not rushed at all. The wait staff was very attentive . The table got the fried oysters with the creamed spinach . Everyone's dinner was excellent as was the dessert . I would highly recommend this place. I just would like to thank the staff and chefs for a great service and dinner."

"Giorgio's is the best Italian joint in the city. Their service is impeccable and their food is so delectable that you don't even care how bad all the carbs are for you! The staff is amiable and knowledgeable. All the dishes are cooked to perfection and their s'mores bread pudding is like nothing else you have ever had. I recommend this place to everyone I know because I know it's impossible to be disappointed! My only tip is to make sure you have a reservation and make it there on time because it is packed on Thursday-Saturday nights (expected, of course)."

The place was just too busy. We had a "pleasant" table but right next to the kitchen and too much traffic around the table to really be comfortable.
