"We went here to celebrate Mother's day with my three adult siblings and our mom. We even had a toddler with us and the service was fantastic; very thorough and personable wait staff. The food was excellent and came out rather quickly, relatively speaking on such a busy day with our larger group. The food was worth the price, I look forward to going back here again soon."

"I had a great experience at Mitchell's Fish Market. Not only was the food on point and oosing with deliciousness, but the waiter we had was well educated and informed on the plates and drinks offer there as well as having a great energy and attitude the intire time. I can not wait to go back there again soon and try another mouth-watering dish. The only thing that I would add to make the experience just that much more special, it the possibility of more private tables for the couples eating out for a special occasion with one another."

"My wife and I joined another couple for dinner at Mitchell's on Saturday May 6th. My wife had a salad with shrimp skewers and I had shrimp scampi. Both were excellent and flavorful, we also had a bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer along with clam chowder. For dessert we split a piece of key lime pie, the service was prompt and our waiter had good sense of humor. We have dined here on several occasions and really appreciate the diverse seafood menu."

"I went to Mitchell's for the first time in a group of 4. It was the first time there for all of us. The items we order were shrimp cocktail, oyster sampler, simply grilled trout, lobster & filet surf and turf, shrimp scampi, and beer battered cod. Everything we ordered was excellent. We all enjoyed the food very much. It was super busy, but our server was still attentive and did not make us feel rushed at all. She recommended a wine to me that was very good. Overall, we loved it. The only thing I would be picky about is the music was a bit loud for my preference. Otherwise I couldn't complain about a thing!"

"We've been here several times but this time, something all around was missing. Food was just okay (we had the ham Easter special - it was dry. Even my son's fillet mignon was overcooked). We sat at a long table near the front of the hostess station - no ambience whatsoever and our waiter seemed a bit preoccupied. My son's meal was completely wrong. Only a superior restaurant could get away with such mishaps and so even with all of that I rated it average. But for this resturant, one we've come to count on for an excellent all around experience, that's a huge disappointment."

"Was very busy when we went on Friday eve of Easter weekend. Service suffered. Took many minutes to have a waiter approach....he told us water would be delivered shortly (10 minutes), bread would be out shortly (20 minutes--10 minutes after our appetizer order), and that he would be "right back" to get our drink order...8 minutes. We were always waiting for him to return. On the flip side, all the food was very good...love the Shang Hai prep. But again, slow service as we waited for him to return to discuss dessert menu, get dessert, get our bill, etc. All while people were waiting for tables.
So yes, I would recommend...but have reservations during the busy times....better yet, don't go during the busy times, but do go."

"The server was very attentive. As requested, my dinner was delayed somewhat so I could enjoy a martini without gulping it down. I ordered and received the Grilled Chilean Sea Bass with redskin mashed potatoes and a small salad. All food seemed to be served at the correct temperatures and was attractively served. The salad was very crisp and tasty. The Sea Bass was adequate and the potatoes were delicious. All in all, my meal was very good. I would come back to this restaurant without hesitation."

"Great experience overall. My wife and I had a great time. The Steelhead was excellent and I would recommend with the blue cheese topping. My wife had the filet which she really enjoyed as well. A little pricey to bring my 8 year old son but he has celiac disease and needs a gluten free menu. We will keep this as a nice option for him as well."

"Took my girlfriend on Valentines Day, and felt like we were being bothered (at best) or rushed (at worst) by the waitress. I get you need the table, but we reserved it, and barely had 5 minutes of conversation without being interrupted or plates taken away. Service overkill, and ruined our date. My chillean sea bass was outstanding but expensive, and her blackened MahiMahi was over done. It's too bad the service was poor. Probably won't go back."

"This was our second time to Mitchell's and everything was wonderful. I enjoyed the fact that Mitchell's featured a "lobster special" that came with soup or salad, an entree and a dessert. It is a nice way to try multiple things on the menu. My husband had Yellowfin Tuna for the first time and loved it! We can't wait to go back!"

"Booked table through Open Table. We were seated next to the kitchen. The waiter was rushed and spacey. He ordered the wrong entree for one of our party. Did not return for quite some time. My dish was somewhat overcooked and dry. The waiter delivered coffee without asking about cream or sugar and didn't return. We had to flag down another wait person.
This is the first time we have had a poor meal at Mitchell's. a disappointing family meal."

"We went to Mitchell's for Valentine's Day. It was very busy, but we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. Our server was knowledgable and attentive, and the food was delicious. We had two different dishes composed of seafood stuffed fish, and they both were very well prepared with lovely seasonings. The salads were also tasty and interesting -- no plain lettuce here! We will definitely return to Mitchell's."
