"We went to this restaurant occasionally. Last time we thought that portion of meal is huge and taste is American. However, this time we realized that portion of meal is appropriate and food quality was improved. Also, staff is very good trained. We definitely recommended if anyone from outside of NY because the view of Manhattan is incredible!"

"Ourwaiter messed up our bill and ended up paying more than we wanted because we had a gift card but didn't use it cuz he screwd up and we ended up with a14 Dollar credit that as we all no is useless at a place like that plus if i make a reservation i expect to b seated at that time not a half hour later"

My wish was granted thanks to the great help from the hostess.
we had the most beautiful view of New York landscape, with a breathtaking sunset, and the rise of New York lights at night.

"I try and make it here atleast once a quarter to enjoy the sights and delicious food the Chart House has to offer. On a whim my girlfriend and made the 45 minute drive up for a Sunday afternoon. Food was perfect and Henry our waiter offered exceptional service both during and after the meal while finishing our bottle of wine."

"after a great experience some years ago, our recent dinner was a disappointment; the first course was served while we were still enjoying our coctails and the maincourse was served while still enjoying our first course! The waiter new nothing about wines and the plates were almost thrown on the table; Both the food and plates were only luke-warm (and the fish over-coocked). Although the view is outstanding, it is not worth the $200 bill. It is a place where you NEVER will see us again!"

"The Chart House is the perfect place to celebrate a 50th birthday. The minute you walk in you know the staff has your dining pleasure as their first priority. The food is not run of the mill. The portions are generous and well presented. What made it more enjoyable was our waiter Randy. He made great suggestions as to drinks and dinner selections. A great time was had by all and I would definitely return. The view of the N.Y. skyline is wonderful."

"This was definitely the best seafood I have ever had. I don't ever remember getting full off of fish but their stuffed flounder made me stuffed! I wasnt able to finish it all. My husband had the 16oz steak and was tempted to lick the plate because he has never had a steak that juicy before. The wine suggestion by our waiter definitely gave me a new favorite. The entire staff was so attentive to us as well. Every time a member of their staff would pass by they would ask if we were ok even if they weren't the member assigned to our table. We also had our daughter with us and they would stop every few minutes and make sure we had extra napkins for her. The views were stunning to say the least and I cannot wait to go back."

"Chart House is located on a pier and has a wonderful view to NYC, if your planning to go, go at night when you are able to see the NYC skyline in its full beauty. I went with my girlfriend on a friday around 9:00pm, although my reservation was at 9:15, I had to wait a little longer in the bar which had friendly bartenders and a good selection of drinks. After a short wait at the bar, we were taken to our table which was right up front so we were able to take in the full view, our waiter Chris was very nice and helped us make our selection from appetizers to drinks. A overall, nice place good atmosphere, good food,and awesome view."

"I took a party of 7 here for Mothers Day which was also my daughters 21st Birthday. Although they don't officially accept window requests ahead of time I explained that I would appreciate it if they could consider it since we were celebrating. When we arrived they said that they could accommodate us, and after a short wait at a nice table in the bar we were seated. The waiter was courteous , friendly and helpful, the food was all very good and the view was amazing! They even printed a "Happy 21st Birthday" note on our menus! Great time."

"The service and food were perfect. Surprising for a Mother's Day. Most places you go to are a disaster. Food was excellent and loved the ala carte menu being offered. Only downside was we were in a booth, which I hate to eat in booths unless I am at a diner for breakfast. The booth backs are high so not a good view of the amazing skyline. I knew it was a tough day so I just accepted the bad seat."

"If you're looking for a great restaurant with an outstanding view you can't miss the Chart House in Weehawken. This restaurant was everything we were expecting, a great restaurant, with a nice selection of entrees, great wine list and of course the view, which is second to none. "We had perfect service, wonderful food and the best view on Earth. From the ease of reserving the table, the professional reservation follow-up and confirmation through the quick seating the service was top rate.
The food was just as advertised, described well on the menu and competitively priced. There were plenty of good value options to not break the bank. The wine list offered good wine at many price points.
And, they have no competition regarding their view. New York City as the sun sets is about as amazing as it comes. Location location location...and the food to back it up!"

"We have been to the Chart house a number of times, and it never disappoints me. We went Saturday for mothers day with my family, and they were very accommodating to small children...we were there at 1:00 pm....Night time its more romantic and day time very family friendly."

"From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. The bartender was attentive and helpful. We were seated at a lovely window table with a killer view of the city. Our waiter created the most pleasant dining experience I've ever had. He was attentive and helpful through out the entire evening. The food was excellent, from the lobster bisque to the perfectly prepared rib eye steak and halibut entrées. The lava cake for dessert was to die for. For an overall exceptional night out, this is definitely worth every penny."

"Had lunch at the Chart House. ...I was a little disappointed. Food Quality was not up to par... My Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad had no dressing on it, very little chicken and it was a small portion for the price. The drinks were very expensive also. The bill was $180 (w/tip) for four people. Would not go back."

"Our experience Saturday night was not enjoyable. The food was over cooked, dry, I ate two bites. My husband ordered his steak medium, it came out rare, Which he too left. We wasted a lot of money for a special occasion which turned out to not be special at all."
