"Food was excellent, as usual, as was the service. Unfortunately, there was a fundraiser or some other party and the management allowed the organizers to use a very loud microphone."
Special Features: vibrant bar scene, fit for foodies, good for groups, neighborhood gem, notable wine list, romantic, special occasion, great for lunch, hot spot

"You can't ask for anything more: the owner's gracious wife greeting us and becoming an instant friend; the waitress remembering me from my previous visit and my love of fine aged dark rums, the owner's personal mission to make certain I tasted his best rum. No better way to impress my out-of-town guests. When we arrived, there was a fundraiser taking place in the upper portion of the restaurant, which made the place noisier than usual. We were led to a table in the center of the restaurant but my request for a table in a side, quieter room was quickly and graciously accommodated. Oh, and the food was excellent, as always."
