"What a fabulous dining experience we had at Odeon in Dupont Circle, DC, we had lunch to celebrate my son's GWU graduation. Right from the beginning we were sat promptly at our reserved time, The gentleman who sat us also waited on us, he was engaging friendly, talkative and made us feel right at home, service was outstanding, food superb, Odean was an overall wonderful experience. Wish they had one in the Boston area!"

"Went with a group of five to celebrate a graduation only since all my favorites were already booked. There's a reason they could fit us in; I'm surprised anyone would want to return if their experience was anything like ours. Bread not offered but pushed the garlic bread at $1 for a small slice. Calamari greasy, Veal dish that had three tiny slices of meat that probably didn't weigh more than 4 ounces. Pasta dishes were run of the mill; the seafool pasta special heavy on pasta and light on seafood, including two tiny and overcooked pieces of lobster. After we finished a bottle of wine (which turned out to be $30 more expensive than the one I was sure I ordered) staff asked at least four times if we wanted to have more wine by the glass."

"At Odeon Cafe, I felt like the food was solidly good--not anything special, but good. What made me love this place was the service. I went with a group for brunch, and the service was fantastic. They kept us in bottomless mimosas until we asked them to stop, and were just very friendly and helpful. The actual restaurant is lovely as well, there was good ambiance and like I said--bottomless mimosas for hours with no suggestions that we should leave."

"Odeon Cafe provided good italian food for lunch with good service as well. It would be more enticing for customers if the restaurant had lunch specials."

"I loved the food and so did everyone else at my table. I would definitely go back for brunch except that Odeon does not offer bottomless mimosas without a daily deal coupon. When the price of a waffle and one mimosa is $16, or there are deals for one entree plus bottomless mimosas or bloody marys for $16, it's hard to justify paying full price. The food at Odeon is much better than many other brunch places in the area that offer bottomless mimosas for $10 so if Odeon charged $12-15 for theirs I would come here all the time for brunch."

"What a pleasant surprise to find this lovely restaurant. We received excellent service from the waiter and enjoyed the food tremendously. Loved the music that played in the background. Can't wait to visit again!"

"We had a nice Sunday Brunch. There were very few people in the restaurant so it was quiet and we were just able to sit and enjoy our brunch while talking and relaxing. It wasn't fabulous by any means - good food, reasonable prices. It was nice."

"The food was good but we had been so stuffed from 3 days of eating in D.C. that it might have been better than we thought. Service very good. Wine list rather limited but overall a good experience."

"The food was great, but the service was far expectations. The server's English was not good and he had a hard time trying to understand what we were telling him. He also was very slow with his service and we received bread well before we got our drinks. He mixed up our orders and didn't put in the Open Table points for dining. I was not impressed with the service, but the food was nicely done."

"Would never have tried this place if it wasn't for a groupon. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Was a little overpriced (even when using a groupon) but the food was delicious!"

"Found Odeon to be ok, not fantastic, but good. Solid. The fried calamari was very good even if a tad bland. Used the pesto from the bread (both were good), for the calamari, it gave it the zing it needed! Ceasar salad was a nice size and tasted fresh. Had a daily special of the Lobster. It was very well done, just the right size and enjoyed the side of pasta it came with. We just didnt find it to be exceptional, which shouldnt imply that it wasnt good, they were. A very solid place and if you wanted something local and where they take good care of you, we would recommend it."

"The service was very good. We went with a coupon and it did not effect our service. The bread tasted a little old. My eggplant was very good but my husband's gnocci was a little gummy."

"I was a bit concerned to go there after reading the reviews on line but after looking at the rating detail chart, noticed a big positive change starting Jan 1st. In deed, this is not a fancy 5 star restaurant but it is a nice casual place with excellent food at a reasonable price and very good service. No one rushes you and you can enjoy a meal at your own pace. The lamb shank was awesome and I would go there again."

"Odeon never fails to impress. As a seasoned DC tourist, I find this to be a neighborhood gem in a fun area with a great, accessible menu, superb food, and crazily reasonable prices! I'm from Minnesota and find Odeon to provide classy, tasty, DC service and dinner at Midwest dinner prices. Perfect for enjoying a splendid evening on vacation without breaking the bank. I visit every time I'm in DC and have recommended Odeon to many others. No one has ever been disappointed; all have thanked me for the recommendation."

"One of the worst meals I have had. Both my girlfriend and myself could not finish more than 2 bites and I am still trying to forget the taste. For $60 I expect a meal to at least be edible. Left promtly and ordered a pizza."
