"I have been enjoying the Melting Pot experience for over 40 years now and Tuesday night did not disappoint. We liked the new decor and new menu. We actually tried some new flavors this time with our 4-course selection including the lobster and 'smore' chocolate at the end. The presentation was fun, the food was fresh and the portions were ample. We will be back!"

"We visited for Mother's day lunch/dinner with kids. 7 of us total...reservations worked well, table was ready upon our arrival. The biggest problem was the table was not meant to accommodate 7 people...there were 2 people seated in chairs in the aisle. So they were constantly bumped into every time a server or patron walked by. We did mention it to 2 managers and the server who all either apologized or said nothing at all. We probably should have been more assertive, but I assumed at least one of the managers would offer to move us...lesson learned. We'll be back someday but will definitely consider other options in the meantime. I'll just consider this a $300.00 lesson learned..."

"We'd been talking about going for awhile and then came across some friends who had been and really, really liked it, so that gave us momentum. We couldn't have been more pleased - our server walked us through everything and gave excellent suggestions. The food was wonderful - we tried the 4 part dinner, which I would recommend to any first-timer - and we had a super time."

"Had a blast dining here this week for our 20th anniversary! All of the menu items looked delicious and the staff was extremely helpful in making our decision. We started with the Swiss cheese and ended up getting the Fondue delight as our main course. This included Lobster, shrimp, filet steak and chicken. In addition to the meats there were fresh vegetables such as, cauliflower, broccoli, potatoes, carrots and mushrooms. All of this was cooked by US at the table in a delicious broth. The dessert we chose was the Flaming Turtle consisting of chocolate, pecans and bits of caramel set aflame by our server. We then took turns dipping strawberries, marshmallows, rice crispy treats and bananas into the molten sauce."

We tried the spinach artichoke cheese fondue this time. It was fine but we probably wouldn't order again. It's basically spinach artichoke cheese dip, which you can get at many restaurants. The Classic Swiss and the Cheddar are still our favorites.
For chocolate, we requested sort of a "Make Your Own", milk chocolate with crème de menthe, for a St. Patrick's Day feel (the green crème de menthe)."

"My husband and I went here for ultimate night since we have never been offered this before. The energy of the restuarant was great. The food was awesome and though we could not eat as much due to the cheese refills and salad, we had an awesome time.

"I've been a fan of The Melting Pot for years, and it is still one of my favorite restaurants, despite the many changes to the menu over the years.
The prices have dropped a good amount, but with it came the portion sizes. It is still expensive, but a large part of the price is due to the experience.
The server was polite, friendly, and knowledgable. He was also very accomadating, voluntering to change out our cocktails when we didn't agree with the taste. The only thing I would suggest is to not run off the menu in a manner that sounds rehearsed."

"I've been to The Melting Pot for several special occasions and I am never disappointed. First off, since fondue isn't something that I have very often, it is always a fun experience at the Melting Pot. I went for Valentines Day and the special menu was a 4 course meal, and it was amazing. The restuarant has a very romantic atmossphere. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the fondue cooking process. The is a little pricey, but well worth it."

"My husband and I love going to the Melting Pot in Duluth. We go for almost every special occasion. I highly recommend the restaurant for a date night! The service issue I experienced on this particular date was an oddity for the restaurant. I took my 5 year old for the Little Cupid's Luncheon and I was surprised at the lack of kid friendliness by our server. I will be contacting them directly to ensure they are aware of the service. Never had an issue before, and don't expect one again. But, I would use caution when taking small children as they are obviously more experienced at adult dining. This experience will not stop me from returning. We love the restaurant."

"I am 18 and took my girlfriend out for valentines day. We were both really excited all the way up to sitting at the table. They gave us a kiddie table where we couldn't even sit across from each other and had no elbow room. Looking around I noticed every other table was huge and I paid just as much. Also they covered up their regular menu with a valentine menu. Which I understand but when my girlfriend asked if she could order of the regular menu the waiter was nothing but disrespectful to her and was nothing shy of rude. Overall I was very disappointed with the costumer service for the amount of money I paid."

"GREAT SERVICE!!!! We had a little issue with our oil getting too hot. Several pieces of food were burned. But the manager was circulating, took care of it & even comp'd part of our meal. "For the price of the food is fit for a kid under 10..seriously you get 3 medallion sized pieces of 3 different meats, miniscule veggies even a 2 year old would want more... I was very dissatisfied with my bill paying 200.00 dollars and still hungry......and the food was not not even good.... I would pay good money for good food. This was not the experience I remember years ago... melting pot has lost customer..lost customers including my family and friends and their friendsfor life...never again will I visit Melting pot again..its not the employees fault ...they are only being told what to do from their management /owners...too bad it could be such a good concept with good porportioned and good tasting food."
