The Georgian features French-inspired Northwest cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Gavin Stephenson in Seattle's premier dining room. The Georgian offers The Petite, an exclusive private dining room with seating for up to twelve guests, which is perfect for an intimate get together. "What an amazing experience! We wanted to celebrate my daughter's First Eucharist with afternoon tea and I am so happy we celebrated here. I first made the reservation for 4, but had to change it to 5 and they said "no problem" even when I had to change it 3 days before our date. I then told them we were celebrating my daughter's First Eucharist and they were excited that we chose them for our special occasion. I also mentioned that I am gluten free and they were able to accommodate me. How wonderful it was to have afternoon tea with special tea sandwiches with gluten free bread, fresh fruit, sorbet and sweets. It was lovely and delish. I will definitely recommend The Georgian for afternoon tea!"

"The Georgian is for fine, quiet, elegant dining, with highly trained waitstaff and excellent service. It is in a gorgeous room, unlike any other place in the region. Unfortunately, the food is a little irregular - sometimes outstanding, and sometimes very ordinary, with more emphasis on the presentation than the flavors and textures of perfectly cooked food (especially the fish, which is often overcooked). Simple food cooked to perfection is preferable to the fanciest molecular contrivances that seem to be the rage these days; a delectable basil leaf is far tastier than light green unappealing foam made from it. I will be glad when that fad is over."

"Very elegant location and beautiful chandeliers.Food was great and service was attentive.
Very highly recommended except...
Another couple brought their too very young children and they actually made less noise than the parents.The parents brought electronic gadgets that were quite disruptive.No these were not cellphones.The had laptops that played music and they left the room and the music continued to play while their devices were unattended.Not a bad experience but not what I was expecting."

"We went here for lunch on Seattle Restaurant Week, we tried more dishes, the white cheddar cheese and the tiramisu were excellent; the portions were perfectly sized, the service courteous, quiet ambiance (a bit too quiet) and nice old fashioned decor. Waiting time was a little long, still we were in no rush. Me and my husband had a pleasant experience and I'll keep this restaurant in mind for special occasions."

"It was an excellent experience and the service was fantastic. We were part of Seattle's Restaurant week. The lunch was superb. I felt as though we were having dinner as the portions were not small. One entree item was Halibut and this is the beginning of Halibut season in the Northwest and that was delicious. "Went here for restaurant week lunch and found it a delightful gem, spot on in every way. They even had the option of teddy bear pancakes for our daughter who enjoyed every last bite. We will be booking again this week for another incredible lunch...get the halibut, the shrimp louie and the deconstructed key lime pie. Very well put together dishes, with superb presentation and attention to detail. You will not be disappointed!"

"While the food is excellent it is not "to die for" or "best ever." You'll still have to go to NYC for French food that will blow you (and your budget) away. What I love is the service here--it's the closest thing you'll come in Seattle to some of the best "old school" French restaurants that NYC used to have (La Cote Basque, La Caravelle) but sadly are no more. It is very formal, quiet, inobtrusive, but they make you feel special which is what you want when you are spending hundreds on a special night out. Unlike other Seattle landmarks known for their "good" service, these waiters are friendly enough but aren't trying to be your friend and don't try to be too familiar and chatty like so many other Seattle restaurants. Highly recommended."

"Had a wonderful birthday dinner with my wife, two kids, great aunt and mother-in-law. All were very pleased with the entire experience. Food was excellent as you would expect. It was our first time trying The Georgian and we left vowing to return. An additional nice touch was the lemonade selection for making the kids feel they had a special drink other than everyday pop - a nice touch."

"It's a truly elegant place to be, eat and entertain friends and family! We were greatly disturbed by a group of people who were constantly on the cell phone even while eating...They were having High Tea and did not stop talking on their phone...But it's allowed, according to our waitress, since there are just too many business people patronizing the eatery."

"I love the food and the wine pairing! I enjoy my seared scallops especially my strawberry dessert. I did the special 3 course meals with wine pairing for ~$45. I adore the wine. I didn't like my appetizer though (crab cake bisque soup). I felt like it was missing some sort of flavor, but the crab was amazing though. Overall, I enjoy my food and had an amazing experience. I will probably come back to try their afternoon tea."

"Had reservations for 12:15 pm for a party of four. We were seated promptly, however, waited 40 mins for our lunch - and that was only after I flagged down a server. This was a welcome lunch for a new employee and it was a disaster. Food was fair. Manager did give us 25% off the bill, but no apologies, no nothing. Not what I would expect from a high end restaurant."

"Food was not nearly as fabulous as I was expecting. My risotto was too aldente. The fois gras was my biggest disappointment. It was too cold as if it just came out of the fridge. It was hard and difficult to taste the flavor. Would have been much better at room temperature. The steak was lovely and the scallops tasted very fresh."
