"The shrimp cocktail was excellent. Shrimp was fresh and much more flavorful than others we have had. The swordfish was good but I like swordfish cut thicker. Not bad though. My wife had a very good filet mignon which was very tender. I thought the smoked bacon tended to distract from the flavor of the meat but never-the-less it was very good. We usually eat at the Brigantine for special occasions and that is because it is very pricey...$100 for two, including a drink apiece. I will go back for special occasions, but I can get a comparable dinner at around 1/3 less elsewhere."

"We ordered the lobsters, they were a little overdone, but still very tasty. I enjoy seafood and since I was visiting my mother, I thought i would treat her.We had a nice meal, except the noise level was quite high. It is a great place for a lively and chatting group!"

"A graduation dinner at Brigantine could not have been a better experience. Jennifer, our server, was awesome and very attentive. The food was great and even though it was prom night, we were never ignored and the noise level never got out of hand. My group of 10 enjoyed the evening and enjoyed the service."

"I've made this spot a favorite for meeting clients and friends for a lunch/dinner appointment and have not been disappointed. The food is always very well prepared, the greeting is always friendly and service has been superb. Salads (especially the half portions) are a favorite because they are tasty and enough to fill a light to moderate eater. The parmesan crusted sand dabs are a special favorite of mine because they are so tasty and light on the tongue. The grilled veggies are always tough to get done properly (not too hard/not too soft) and they come out perfect every time. Bravo!"

"Had a wonderful waitress; Sharon. It was good service, good food, and pleasant surroundings. Love the half salads and fresh coffee. Happy to spend time here meeting a client and having friendly people to greet you and provide service. I have used this spot a number of times for meetings and have never been disappointed in the service or the food."

"Celebrated our anniversary at the Brigantine. Requested to be seated by fireplace when I made the reservation thru Open Table and that is where they seated us. Of course, at 5 pm on a Monday, we had the entire dining area to ourselves! We both had a fish dish, both prepared very well and was delicious. That's saying a lot since my spouse is not a big fan of fish (we are trying to eat healthier). The service was excellent, again, it helps when you have the entire dining room to yourselves. The only mistake was the two glaasses of red wine were mixed, but one taste and we could tell. We had a very enjoyable evening. They even gave us an anniversary card. Good job Brigantine."

"I celebrated my birthday dinner with my family at the Brig. We had a wonderful time. We all loved the food, especially the mud pie! Our waitress was very friendly and gave us great service. We had two little ones with us and our waitress was very attentive to them as well. Great evening. We'll definitely dine there again."

"Had a wonderful and expectedly tasty lunch with excellent service from a young man named, Tino. He was attentive, friendly, and on the ball for all I needed. The chef did an excellent job with the veggies (fresh and crisp) and the sand dabs (tender, slight taste of lemon and capers with butter) and the coffee was FRESH (a must for my dining). What a mid-week unexpected treat for someone who eats out frequently to meet clients and doesn't always get this five star treatment! Well done!"
