"Really enjoyed the meal.We both had flat iron steak and it was great and cooked to perfection. The red skin potato's and the sauteed onion's and pepper's were very tasty as well. The service was very good.Kept the water glasses filled and was very attentive. We added the $15.00 to our meal and had the wine added to our courses and it worked very well together. It was very loud in there and was difficult to talk, but part of that was that they were busy which is a good thing.I didn't pay attenion to their wine list so I don't know how good it is.We will go back again."

"This was the first time I had been to Litchfield's and took two of my girlfriends. The drinks were delish, the food was tasty and the dessert was to die for. I think my favorite was the cheese appetizer we had. Loved the live music playing in the background. I will be taking my husband next time."

"We were very pleased with our first visit here, especially as it's a resort restaurant. But I trusted reviews I had read, and we were not disappointed! (We were not resort guests, but live locally.) The food was all superb! The old-AZ ambience is very nice, and the whole main lobby, bar, etc, that you walk thru to the restaurant is beautiful. We will return for another special occasion. It's not low-budget, with drinks & wine & dessert our dinner for 3 was over $200."

"My food was cold and the waitress did not return to the table to ask us if dinner was.good. My husbands potatoes were cold and my dumplings were stodgy thus making it difficult to swallow them as I have PD> When the server returned to the table I informed her that I was unable to digest then so she removed them without offering a substitute. All in all I enjoyed the evening due to the fact that your piano player was great and I was able to dance"

"We had a table outside. Our waitress was knowledgable and friendly. We both ordered the wild salmon and it was cooked to perfection. I usually go to restaurants that offer organic healthy food. Keep up the great job."

"Nice to have a fine restaurant in Litchfield Park at the Wigam Resort. We enjoyed the duck and the pork loin special. The flat iron steak was a bit on the tough side."

"We had a wonderful dining experience. The service is very friendly and we felt the staff really cared about ensuring we had a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The portions are generous. The flank steak, a special that evening, was the most tender and flavorful we have ever had. We live locally and will definitely be frequent diners."

"Took my father to Litchfields for his 89th birthday. The service was great, searing us outside at a great table. We had steak and fish which was all excellent and cooked exactly how requested. Dessert was Bery good too and they gave us a ride back to the car from the table. I would like to go again!"

"Our dining experiences at Litchfield's has been varied. Sometimes they are on their game and other times we seriously wonder how they stay in business. I'm not sure what accounts for their inconsistency but our most recent dinner was wonderful. We sat outside on a lovely Arizona evening in April and the place was alive with music and happy diners. We ordered the filet mignon and an array of vegetable sides; everything was prepared superbly and service was great. If they could do this consistently we would be comfortable taking out of town guests because their setting at the Wigwam Resort is really lovely."

"We went to Litchfield’s for my wife’s birthday. Inside was a bit loud stained concrete floor and many other hard surfaces reflect the din of diners, servers and the open kitchen. The server was great. I started with Onion soup - just OK & Cesar which was good. For our main entrees my wife tried the trout and I had the rib eye with garlic mashed potatoes and we split a side of grilled asparagus. The trout was really good! As were the grilled asparagus. The mashed potatoes were good and the Rib eye was poor. I felt like I get better cuts of steak from Costco. The steak was covered in a great pan gravy that I suspiciously thought might have been purposefully created to cover the nature of the cut of rib eye. The portions that I was able to car"

"Overall 3.5 stars ~We arrived @5:30/opening(a mistake) since it was mostly empty & our server was doing server tasks (very good/attentive,then forget to check on us ~our drinks were empty at one point. Great wine selection. Very interesting food flavors/ combos. Great PLATE presentation. Ample sized meat/fish portions w/ portion management sides. The menu changes seasonally w/ the current menu good through 4/30/13. Even though the chef was standing about he didn't bother to walk out to greet/talk w/ the few seated patrons. Although the linens were not ironed/very wrinkled, our server seemed annoyed that we placed our utensils casually to one side (which he corrected). Unfortunately our experience seemed flat instead of special."

"The sangria is amazing! Homemade - they marinade the fruit for a couple weeks. Yum. We loved our appetizers but were just marginally impressed with the entrees."

"Most disappointing dinner for a long time. There was an auto gratuity of 20% for a group of six and you could tell the servers were not going to work for it. The halibut was worse than a captain highliner fishstick. I had one bite and sent it back. Tuna appetizer was fair but the frito mixto was awful. Three in our group ordered it and not one of us finished it. Lamb was best of the entrees. Pork chops were overdone and the baked linguine was mush. It was only partially eaten also. Was looking forward to this dinner but was extremely disappointed in the end. The wine was great!!"

"We took clients to supper, and were very pleased with our experience at Litchfield's. Excellent food and very good service. Two of our diners had the ribeye entree. One said it was the best steak he had ever eaten. The other was very, very pleased with her choice. My husband had the chicken, which he said was one of the best meals he has eaten. I had the trout, and it was excellent. Three of us ordered the house salad, served with a strawberry viniagrette & Crow chevre, and the fourth really enjoyed his ceasar salad with pizza dough croutons. We'll be back. It's nice to know we have this wonderful restaurant in the West Valley."

"The food was excellent. Portions are generous but not "too much". Well timed and delicious. Cocktails are a bit pricey so be careful as the bar tab can add up quickly. However I felt the rest of the meal was priced well given the quality and ambiance. For that reason alone we will be returning for certain. I had the pork chop and polenta fries, the others in our party tried the ribeye and filet mignon. All were phenomenal. The rib eye came with gouda mac and cheese that was out of this world. I felt the service was very good and friendly but not quite excellent. A bit more attention to detail and checking in on us would have been better. In fairness they had a very large group come in and our server had to assist them as well."

"Service and food were almost flawless. Lamb was cooked perfectly, I just prefer garlic to mint/honey gastrique. Spouse had new York and again, perfect. But everyone should try the wild mushrooms! Almost stole the show they were so good."

"My wife and I had a small filet and the lamb. We thought both were very good. The filet was especially tender and cooked perfectly though I could have done without the sauce.
The rest of the meal was mediocre at best. The soup (prawn?) was tasteless and the one shrimp was well past its prime. The dressing on the ceasar salad was good but glooped on a corner of the plate. The extra anchovies I asked for were fine, however. The side dishes varied from bad (mushrooms, haricots) to OK (mashed potatoes, fingerling purple potatoes).
The two expresso's came out fairly promptly but the accompanying desert took over 15 minutes. Needless to say the coffee would have been iced cold if we had waited."
