Our name is our specialty; roasted prime ribs of beef. We serve the finest aged beef available, slowly roasted to perfection and carved tableside from our famous silver carts. While roasted prime ribs of beef continue to be the centerpiece of our menu since 1938, rib-eye steaks, fresh fish, and lobster, are core offerings. "Our family had a wonderful dinner to celebrate two birthdays. The food was outstanding. The multiple courses were delicious and the prime rib was perfectly prepared. Ms. Jennifer Brown is the most engaging and attentive employee on staff. We appreciated her entree recommendations and delightful personality. "For those of you looking for a place for great food, and a walk back in time when dining out was a special event and you dressed and were treated like royalty - this is the place. You sat down and expected to see Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra sitting there as well. They kept things the way it was and Bravo to them! Food is excellent - service even better. So much better than the loud places on the Strip and not a pair of shorts or t-shirt in sight!"

"The food was good but expensive for the portion size. We haven't been here in a few years but the portion size for the price was disappointing. The Lawry's cut was much smaller than in the past. One person got the fish (trout) which was a good portion but for $37 was way too expensive. The restaurant doesn't have the charm it did in the past but some many like the experience. Don't know if we'll go back 'cause there are so many other choices for much less money."

"Had a great Time! The only thing I did not like was it did not seam to enforces a dress code. I made reservations and the email said the had a dress code. Two men walked up and they were wearing jeans shorts tshirts. I had been waiting all week to eat at cowered and that made me feel not special. "The prime rib @ Lawry's was absolutely delicious , just as I had remembered . While I have dined at Lawry's before , in LA , this was my first trip to Lawry's @ Las Vegas . It was my girlfriend's first time , and I had been talking about our visit for months . The meal , as well as the dining experience , was everything that I imagined and remembered - and more ! "From the time we walked in to the reservation stand until we exited, the friendliness of the greeting staff set the tone. After being shown to our table right near the kitchen (for which I will usually asked to be re-seated) turned out to be very quiet through out the entire meal . The waitress who attended us through out the evening was extremely knowledgeable and by the time desert and the check had been presented, I felt as though she and I had become good friends, the kind of friends that I look forward to seeing again.
The food was impeccably prepared for each person in our party and tasted wonderful. Would I or anyone in our party come back? This is the third time I have been to Lawry's and just wish that I was closer.

"Dinned with my wife and another couple and everyone enjoyed the food and the service. I forgot the name of our waitress but she did an excellent job serving and answered any question the couple had since that was their first time dinning at Lawrys. Myself and my wife have been here before and we return when we're back in town. Excellent dining experience."

"Not a slot machine or gaming table in sight. Nice and quiet, no problems conversing here. Menu is fairly limited but then you know why you are here. The Prime Rib. Wife and I both had the Lowery's cut (rare) and it was a very generous portion. We both enjoyed the Prime rib. I thought the mashed potato's were watery. We ordered the Mushrooms, and the Asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. The Hollandaise had way too much pepper in it I thought. Other than these two minor problems with our meal, it was very good! Service was very good. We will be back soon."

"Have been eating at Lawry's in Las Vegas for some 10 years, and it maintains its quality food and great service. The Prime Rib -- all cuts -- is spectacular and all side dishes normally "hit the spot."
While its kept in very good clean condition, the "ambiance" does show its age already, but it is still a most satisfying experience to spend 2-3 hours at Lawry's."

"The service was often a little cheesy and used car salesman-ish (but thats Vegas baby).....its high quality beef so it pretty much sells itself. No need to try soooo hard (Paul), albeit, the service was friendly and well timed. The decor is dated, kind of old school Vegas but clean, suggest more ambient lighting but because this place caters to an "older" crowd, dim lighting probably doesnt work.
The prime rib was very good as was the ribeye...if you want lots of good meat, its worth the visit & easy to overlook the rest. Overall a good experience."

"Having wanted to go here for years I finally had the chance to go. Famous for their Prime Rib they did not disappoint. It was probably one of the better prime rib meals I've had. Lawry's is a VERY old school place, where the servers wear 1930's uniforms, the interior is older in style and bright, kind of like your Grandma's house. I'm glad I went and can recommend but this wouldn't be a first choice when thinking about Las Vegas dining."

"LAWRY'S THE PRIME RIB IN LAS VEGAS IS EXCELLENT. WE ALL HAD PRIME RIB AND IT WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION AND TASTED LIKE BUTTER, WOW; SO GOOD. THAY TREAT YOU SO GOOD AND GO ABOVE AND BEYOND NORMAL SERVICE. MRS TAYLOR OUR NORMAL SERVER WAS STARTING THIRTY MINUTES AFTER OUR ARRIVAL, HOWEVER; WE HAD MRS ASHLEY, SHE WAS JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THE BUS BOY WAS OUTSTANDING. LAWRY'S THE PRIME RIB IS NUMBER 1 WITH US AND YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG IF YOU CHOSE TO HAVE DINNER AT LAWRY'S."

"This is not our first time at Lawry's, I will say it could be the last time. There was four in our group and all of us have the same opion, the prime rib was not even close to your normal quality or taste... we are not the type to complain in a restaurant, especially with the staff doing an outstanding job as they did that and every night we have been there.."

"Value and quality is incredible. This time we had the “Special” which is a generous cut of high quality Prime Rib and sides, salad, bottle of wine and desert. Normally I purchased the beef bowl cut and feast like a Queen, and then take the rest home and make Roast Beef hash for the family. Sometimes I make roast beef and scrambled eggs and still have enough left over for a dinner sized portion of salad with hot roast beef in a cabernet reduction drizzle. It is the meal that keeps on giving. Fabulous!"

"Food was okay however they did the one thing I can't stand, they put my party in a back room with one other table. We had a reservation well in advance and had I not been part of a bigger party I would have waited for a table in the main dining room. We were all a bit annoyed and should have been given the option to wait for a table in the main dining area prior to being seated. Did I mention I can't stand to be put in a back room.
One of the members in my party wanted to order a steak but the waitress assumed something else and he was never actually asked what he wanted."
