A chic and upscale Indo-Chine restaurant located in front of the Midtown Plaza, offers a unique variety of Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Korean cuisine. "Food is very good but the restaurant is extremely loud, difficult to have a conversation. Wait staff tried hard but seemed a bit overwhelmed by the crowd on a Saturday night. I had been once before on a Tuesday and it was a much more enjoyable experience."

"We went on Mother's Day. Food was very slow to come out, but I was impressed with the way they didn't overbook the restaurant. Their staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I had the Filet Mignon on the fixed menu. It said it was going to have asian spices, but it was kind of bland. My husband had the sea bass and said it was excellent. Their chocolate mousse was AWESOME!"

"This was my first visit at Steel. I'll come back. This was surprisingly good. Excellent menu and daily specials. The ginger cocktail is great. The service was a little slow, but we sat in the bar area, so this may not be the norm. Great evening."

"How can a place be simultaneously trendy and cozy, foodie paradise and comfort food? Steel definitely is one of those rare combos that is worth experiencing first hand.
The ambiance is inviting, the staff is friendly and remembers your name and what you like, the food is delicious and comes out quickly. What more can you desire in a restaurant.
My experience is mainly over lunch, but i can imagine it being a hotspot at night, with its swanky bar with beautiful water "lace""

"A favorite for lunch! The sea bass and the salmon ALWAYS make me happy and love, love love the crab rolls- but, upgrade to real crab not imitation crab.

"One of my go to spots whenever I travel to Atlanta. Great service, amazing sushi. Ask for the real wasabi, not the stuff that most people order. The hot rock tuna/beef is a fun appetizer and makes for a good talking point. The tornado role is expertly done and the topping on the volcano roll is one of my favorites. Have never had a bad experience here."

"Fantastic!! We love going to Steel when we are in town to visit
Our son. It's a special treat to eat sushi at steel.
However there are other menu items our 8 year old can dine on.
The waiters and waitresses we have encountered at steel have always been cheerful, helpful and interesting!
All of our entrees have been great!

"We were spending the weekend in town to celebrate our anniversary and found steel on open table. It was fantastic! The food qas feesh, unique and beautifully presented. Molly, our server was knowlegeable (we let her chose our selections and matched our wine), friendly, and attentive in j ust the right way. The atmosphere is contemporary but comfortable with unique finishings that are pleasant to the eye. It was also an easy (10 min) walk to the Fox. We are already planning our next visit"

"I brought my date here for Valentine's Day. The place has a very nice atmosphere and is very romantic. However, the manager was a little too flustered and on edge. We were waiting at the bar for our table, and he came over and told us to follow him to our table... which wasn't ready yet. So we had to go back to the bar and keep waiting until a few minutes later when he told us our table was ACTUALLY ready.
Granted, it was Valentine's evening, so things were bound to be a bit chaotic. But the big mistake my date and I made was opting for sushi instead of sticking to the special Valentine's Day menu that Steel was offering. We waited probably an hour and 15 minutes for two rolls and two pieces of sushi."

"I went to Steel for Valentine's Day. They had a three-course dinner special + champagne for $40. All the items we had were phenomenal, both in presentation and taste. The waiter was very nice and catered to our every request.
I would strongly recommend this place to any couples, and it's also very nice for business meetings."

"Had not eaten here in about a year, and won't wait so long next time. We ate off the pre-theatre menu before going to a play, and our meal was excellent. The appetizers were good (not great), but it got better from there. The salmon and chicken entrees were great and the chocolate cake dessert, was as well. The service was attentive. "i had never been to the restaurant before, the ambience was great. Our reservations were for 8:00 and we were seated right away however it took nearly 15 minutes for our waiter to ackldge us and then another 15-20 minutes to get our drinks. when i made mention of it he did say that they would take care of that round, which they did. My husband ordered the steak and much to my dismay, it was less than desirable, understanding that the menu consisted mostly of sushi and seafood and that steak is not their flagship product i would have expected that a restaurant of that caliber would be able to cook a decent filet. In closing, the sushi was great the chilean sea bass is way over priced and the wait staff needs a little help. #wontbegoingback"
