Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of French Creek, this is where you will find The Inn at St. Peter’s Village. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Inn at St. Peter’s was created in 1881 by Dave Knauer.
The construction of “Excursion House” marked the beginning of Knauer’s realization of the village as a recreational weekend retreat. This truly majestic structure underwent a complete revitalization in 2005, bringing it back to its former glory. As you relax with a cool drink or dine on the delicious Italian cuisine in one of our three outdoor patios, you will be serenaded by the flowing waters and dazzled by the amazing view of the ancient rocks and lush green landscapes of the French Creek. The Inn at St. Peter’s offers 6 luxurious rooms and one suite. No two rooms are alike...each offers unique decorative touches tastefully recreated to match the bygone era of the original inn.
"The food, the service, just everything! We went to brunch and everything we had was cooked to perfection. The servers were pleasant and attentive. We will certainly go back!"

"Last year we enjoyed a Father's Day Buffet Brunch at St. Pet'er's Inn and we were looking forward to a repeat performance. Although the Inn did not have the buffet brunch this year, we were not disappointed. The brunch special, steak and eggs benedict with crab and perfectly seasoned home fries was devine. We finished the meal with coffee and 3 different desserts that satisfied the sweet tooth. The outdoor patio by the creek adds charm and a wonderful dining experience. Our family has been dining at St. Peter's Inn off and on for over 30 years and I am glad to see it thriving once again. I would highly recommend this restaurant."

"We've been to St. Peter's many times, there was a very disappointing menu change. Also they used to use linen now it's paper napkins. It was very evident people are not happy the restaurant was empty for a beautiful Friday evening."

"This is our second visit to the Inn at St. Peters in as many months and it will not be our last. The setting is especially nice in the summer, perched on a concrete deck that reminds one of Wright's Falling Waters, the creek below blends nicely with the diner's conversations. The food is excellent "straight" Italian. No fancy interpretations, just very good preparation of fine raw materials served generously. A salmon filet was judged "perfect" by a picky diner. Capellini with lump crab meat must have been lavished with 4 oz of perfectly tossed nuggets in a butter garlic sauce that was light and satisfying. Killer chocolate cake was not terribly Italian, but it sure was good. Service was friendly and uneven."

"Simply charming and we will definitely visit again. The wait staff was very friendly if a little confused. Not fine dining but who cares? The atmosphere is beautiful and the drinks are wonderful."

"This is the third time that we've been to the St. Peters Inn, and it hasn't disappointed at all. The menu has changed from the last time we were there which I liked. This has quickly become one of our favorite local restaurant."

"We dined here for our anniversary and had the best time! We sat outside and were rewarded with a great view of the French Creek and some of the other historic buildings of the village. The service was excellent but I wished the staff had known more a about the history of the area. We'll be back!"

"We had not been to the Inn in many years since we are retired and on a fixed income and previous prices were beyond what we could afford. When our anniversary came around I checked the menu online and discovered things were now changed. We had an excellent dinner and great service and can't wait to try it again."

"It had been several years since making the drive up to the Inn at St. Peters. I now believe that we missed a lot of great meals. Excellent, carefully prepared traditional Italian dishes bursting with flavor, served hot by friendly wait staff. Oh, and reasonable prices. The Cioppino was generous to excess, perfectly flavored and served in a substantial bowl that kept the broth hot while the many, many fresh mussels were eaten. Great Caesar salads, insanely rich chocolate cake, good coffee. We will be back soon."

"This was our first time here. A little "fancier" than we're used to. The atmosphere is very nice, like you are walking into an old friends house. Service was excellent and quick. Food selection was nice, but not much of a kids menu. Honestly, if I would have known it was a little more upscale, I wouldn't have brought the kids with, although they both found something on the adult menu which they enjoyed. Food was very good, although I thought my wife's Risotto Di Mare was a little fishy (she didn't think so). Not much of a crowd, I suspect that wouldn't be the case in the summer months, as the scenery must be fantastic."
