"My family and I decided to go to LSF Park Sq because of its location, we were all in the mood for seafood, and I was craving the dish my sister got last time we went. We were seated at one of the booths, which made us feel as though we were miles away from each other. The restaurant was also very loud, which made it difficult to hold a conversation. Our waitress made me feel rushed throughout the entire ordering process. When I ordered the dish I was craving, she proceeded to talk me out of it claiming it was very "hit or miss". It could have just been an off night, but I was not a fan of the experience. I enjoy the LSF in Chestnut Hill much more. I'll probably go elsewhere next time. There too many better options in Boston."

"Everything was great. My boyfriend and I went on a Sunday evening, so things were quiet. I had made reservations but sat at the bar. We ordered the sampler appetizer, which had shrimp cocktail, shrimp wontons, seared tuna and crab cakes. My boyfriend loved the crab cakes and I really enjoyed the seared tuna...just a little overpriced though for the portion size. We split the swordfish special with crabmeat, which I thought was great, but he is a big fan of swordfish and wasn't that impressed. He thought it was good, just not great. Overall, everything was good and we had a great time. We will definitely eat here again. Thanks. (also the downstairs was great and the restaurant in general was very nice and well kept)"

"Eating at this restaurant has become somewhat of an annual event for our family. part of the reason for that is the downstairs tables at this restuarant are in a setting that is just ideal for eating. the ambience and the setup of the room is such that each time we leave we just can't wait to go back.Now if you accept, as we do, that the food itself will be of top quality then the combination is just a knockout. We all love the combinations of foods, the varied presentation and cooking styles together with the first class presentation. and then there's the wine list. Absolutely first class.And i haven't even mentioned the service yet. that is personal and very knowledgable with a generous serving of humor.Great food, good restaurant."

"This was, without a doubt, one of my favourite restaurant experiences I have ever had. The staff was friendly, knowledgable and easy to talk to. It was quite a difficult task to order because all of the choices looked fabulous. I appreciated the suggested wine pairings and the layout of the restaurant itself was elegant and very well maintained. The food was cooked perfectly; I especially loved the Atlantic salmon and watching the filleting process of the Dover sole was entertaining (the taste was exquisite, too). Although many more words can be used to describe this experience, I would limit my words to two: fresh, delicious. The experience was perfect and it was certainly an unforgettable Valentine's Day dinner."

"Although we have had good experiences here in previous years, our recent visit was very disapointing. My lobster bisque was lukewarm, and our tuna special lacked any flavor. We were a few minutes late, yet we were told rather curtly that our table had been given away. We were seated before too long, but next to a party of 60! It was so loud that the wait staff remarked about the uncomfortable noise level. Our waiter was friendly, and trying hard, I believe, but was rushed, and promised rolls and then disapeared. I was never able to send the soup back, because our waiter did not come back until our dinners were served. We should have had plenty of time for getting to our theater reservation, but ended up rushing to get there just on time."

"I have to admit being somewhat disappointed after all the good reviews I had read; but in the restaurants' defense, it was New Year's Eve so a constant, packed house throughout the evening, and I am sure the kitchen was hopping. I ordered the surf and turf on recommendation of a diner who had been there previously, and wish I had stuck with just seafood -- the steak was not memorable, just average, for a filet -- and the filet was butterflied which I didn't quite understand. My husband had the tuna which was excellent. Service was top-notch, even with a full house."

"Overall, the food was very good, but I felt very rushed during my meal. My server would ask us a question and before we could even answer, she was already at another table. In addition, our food came out in record time, faster than even the waitress anticipated. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but in addition to the server's frantic behavior, it added to the rushed feeling. Maybe this was all due to the New Year's Eve business, but for the treat that it was supposed to be for us, we felt rushed in and out like a burger joint. The food was phenomenal however and made up for the rushed feeling."

"A beautifully appointed restaurant-clean, well kept up. Many choices on the extensive menu. Waitress helpful when ordering. When served, brought one incorrect order. My order of scallops and mushrooms were cold. Waitress checked on everything and was told the broccoli was not served. It came after we finished eating. I had to get up to find waitress to get another cream pitcher for coffee (3 cups).
Desserts were yummy. We had a good, relaxing time and were not hurried. I expected better service which would have enhanced the experience, as the food was very good, just not brought to us in a timely fashion."

"Always great at this location---that's why we've continued returning over the years. Have been frequenting L.S. since it was located in the Park Plaza Hotel. Too bad it moved from that location! Much prefer this L.S. to the one located near the N.E. Aquarium and Rowe's Wharf."

"Looking for the perfect steamed Lobster and a wine list fot for total wine freaks? This is the place! I had a 3 pounder and my friends and I assaulted the wine list, wich is packed with EXTREMELY inexpensive gems: 2003 Riesling Rangen de Thann from Zind-Humbrecht ($18 half bottle), 2002 Riesling Brand Zind-Humbrecht ($23 half bottle), 1985 Chevalier-Montrachet Georges Deleger ($225). ALL these, and many others on the list, sell for FAR more at retail. The lobster was perfect, the sides serviceable, the service excellent, and the glassware worthy of the wines."

"I don't know if it's due to the chain's expansion or if we simply dined at an "off" location on an off night, but this was completely disappointing. Although the service was quite good, the food--which is the point--was horrible. My companion's filet mignon was practically black and dry as a bone on the outside and very well done on the inside (he'd ordered it medium). Reluctantly, we sent it back and requested "medium rare." The second was still overcooked and dry on the outside and RARE on the inside. (The gnocchi and mustard sauce were nice.) My dish--the wood-grilled seafood combo--was overcooked and rubbery, lacking any real flavor. Given the debacle with the beef, I chose not to make matter worse by sending my own entree back."

"I worked for Legals for 5 years and have dined at most locations in MA. But this was my first time at the Park Square location and I was very impressed. The design and style of the restaurant was perfect for the city, allowing for good views by the large windows that outline the dining room. Also, there is a lounge downstairs that is perfect for waiting for your table. The service was very good with an attentive server and good reccomendations. And per the usual, the food was delicious. Legals is an all-around GREAT choice for dining out. Dinner prices are very reasonable, their wine list is extensive and wallet-friendly, and the service is that of what you would find at the Ritz. Keep it up!"
