"I’ve dined at Riverhorse on several occasions and my expectations are surpassed each and every time. The service is impeccable; the ambiance is warm and inviting; and the food is incredible. Our table enjoyed the Filet, Braised Pork Shoulder Roast and Exotic Trio with all three choices being delicious and presented beautifully. Desserts were “to die for”. I can’t wait for the next opportunity to enjoy the Riverhorse on Main!"

"I really enjoyed the food. The price fits the number of dollar signs on the urban spoon review. I think the entrée portion I had was a bit small for $36.00 Dinner for two was 150 and my wife had soup and salad one app. I am glad I had a gift card. Not sure if this price level was still at ski season rates. As a local I hope that the summer brings it down a bit. Shot of bourbon on the rocks $13.00 ouch. Vegas pricing. Maybe because I am not at the income level that sees these prices every meal I am still shocked. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that can afford it. Service was one of the best. My waiter was kind pleasant and knowledgeable. Support staff was attentive and prompt."

"Had a great evening at the River Horse Restaurant Saturday Evening. The service was fantastic, the food was excellent (even though on the pricey side), and the music (guy playing his guitar and singing) was awesome. We talked, laughed, ate, and listened for over 2 hours, and never felt pressured to 'give up our table', but rather they kept filling our glasses and asking if there was anything else we wanted. It was really a nice night."

"As always, Riverhorse delivers! Halibut is outstanding. Service is top notch. Only suggestion would be to make sure you get a table in the main dining area. They have a side room that, while nice, is not nearly the "experience" that the main dining room is. Make sure you get to the Riverhorse when in PC!"

"I have to say we were underwhelmed with this dining experience. We were told by friends this would be a great dining experience. We had the onion soup - lacking in flavor. The Steak Frites was ok - and the Duck 2 ways was a bit fatty and not very flavorful. Soft pours on beverages (but that may be because we are in Utah) but the wine was nice."

"There are so many REALLY good dining options in Park City, a restaurant has to distinguish itself in a big way to stand out in the crowd. This was our second trip to Riverhorse. What we liked the best: the aesthetics of the dining room, the live music. The food was very good but not exceptional. The service seemed hurried, and while attentive... sloppy in spots (e.g. no bread service until after the appetizer). The prices are VERY high. The Utah trout at Bill White's Windy Ridge was as good, if not better, than the Utah trout at Riverhorse (at 1/2 the price)."

"The food was not good enough to justify the price. It was definitely good, and some things were amazing. But overall, you can get the same quality of food somewhere else for cheaper, or much better food for the same price.

"We eat here frequently; it never disappoints. It was a packed house, and our table was ready before our reservation time. Our server and her assistant were attentive. We started with the tuna appetizer, six pieces of tuna with an Asian sauce. My wife had the halibut,a Riverhorse classic, I had the surf & turf (filet and lobster tail). We closed the meal with blueberry cobbler. Everything was cook to perfection and of the great quality. We had wine by the glass and there was a nice selection. Ambiance is excellent as well. There is a main room with windows and live music, which is never too loud, and a side room with excellent décor and comfortable booth/bench seating. Either room is great, but the main room is more open. Highly recommend."

"Will never go back. We have been there numerous times. I made this reservation five weeks in advance. We arrived on time for our 7pm reservation and were taken through a mainly empty dining room set up for many large groups, into the private party room which had a table set for a large group and two tables along the back wall bench with chairs set four four. I remarked to the hostess, "We have never had to sit in the 'bat-cave' before." Things went downhill from there. The food, as usual, was fantastic but it took forever to get each course served. The large group was seated, they were loud, obnoxious, and monopolized our waitress. It appeares they are now more interested in serving large groups than a locals party of four. Too bad."

"Riverhorse came highly recommended from friends familiar with dining in Park City. Our experience was good, not outstanding. The restaurant was very busy on the Wednesday night we visited, serving many large parties. The food was of uneven quality. The lobster was excellent, and the ahi tuna got rave reviews. Their signature halibut dish was disappointing. The fish was not tender, was not too tasty,and both the fish and the potatoes were cold. The wine list was extensive and offered quality in all price ranges. The service was excellent and efficient. We had to wait a half hour beyond our reservation time to be seated but they have a great outdoor patio bar overlooking Main St. We would give it another try."

"Riverhorse is not to be missed on a holiday in Park City, UT ! Try to make a reservation for the piano room, and there is usually a wonderful, low key musician most evenings. The service is exceptional, and the food is wonderful ! Always something interesting on the menu, and they are very accommodating with any request. The house wine is never disappointing, but there is an extensive wine list that has been selected with care. We just love the atmosphere , and make Riverhorse our special night out when in Park City. They have never disappointed .. it's a GEM !"

"Our favorite restaurant when we come to Park City! Great food, beautiful dining room, wonderful music (a pianist). Located on the main street in Park City! Wonderful cocktails especially their Moscow Mule, try it! We live in Laguna Beach where there are really great restaurants and love this restaurant over all that we have been to in Park City! I highly recommend the Red Trout! A wonderful evening and we will be back!"

"Our family had an outstanding experience at the Riverhorse on Main. We were celebrating a 40th birthday and it was just perfect. Our waiter, Jeff, went above and beyond. All of his recommendations were just as promised. It was refreshing to have a waiter that was attentive and informative. And the food was so good!! We will definately be back!"

"Best food we had in Park City. The Duck confit appetizer with deep fried onion rings was great. my wife had the Utah Red Trout served over Forbidden rice. Great. I had the Rack of Lamb, it too was great. Service was very good. The waitress new how each dish was prepared. The owner/chef Seth Adams even came out to say hello to a few tables including ours. Casual attire was fine, they understand that Park City is a Ski town. Make sure you eat at this place if coming to town, book your reservation first"

"We came here on Valentines day for dinner, and it was a great choice. We were seating in the main dining room, close to the piano player, but not so close that we couldn't easily hear each other speak. The ambiance and service we amazing. We started with the trio appetizer. It was good but the portions were small. The Kobe beef just a tiny bit. The salmon was amazing and the largest portion. The goat cheese was good but nothing over the top. For my main I had the Trio of Wild Game, elk, buffalo, and venison. It was pretty delicious and fun to compare the different meats. My bf had the braised pork which was equally delicious. We were two full to try any of their desserts."

"Apparently Wednesdays are live music night...if you plan to have a conversation during dinner, don't come on a Wednesday. Between the music, the bar noise, and the generally loud noise level of the layout, it is impossible to communicate without screaming. That being said, the food was very good. Service was slow, but to be fair our waitress also had a 14 person table as well as several other smaller tables. I think they may need a new manager...it doesn't seem fair for one waitress to have so many tables while there are many others that seem to just be roaming around not doing anything. If they can get the noise level under control and manage the waitstaff distribution better, this could be a terrific place."

"We enjoyed a phenomenal and memorable evening out here. Fantastic food, service, great location in the heart of town, wonderful window seat, relaxing but subdued live music in the background and most of all a delicious meal. The local trout was amazing and fantastic. Our 2nd time dining here-look forward to coming back here again for our next ski trip!"

"I brought friends here from out of town, because I had been here once before and it was incredible. Not this time! Our table wasn't ready when we arrived for our confirmed reservation. so we waited at the bar. And I mean waited. We waited for probably 10-12 minutes before the bartender recognized we were there (well, we pointed ourselves out). Then it took another 10 minutes for our drink to get made, then it just sat on the ledge until we asked the barback to give us our drinks that were just sitting there with melting ice. Then when we got to our table, the room was 100 degrees F. Our waitress looked like a hippie from the 80s, and she was the one giving us the weird looks. The food came out and it was SUB PAR for the $$."
