"Food is consistently excellent. Steaks always prepared to your preference. Hot butter plates are the best. Appetizers are delicious, especially the barbecue shrimp, osso bucco ravioli, and carpaccio. Service is outstanding and does not falter even when super busy."

"Food, service and atmosphere were all on the mark. Last year the music was loud making talking impossible whereas this year the music was subdued which made for a much more enjoyable experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue for anyone that wants a great meal and excellent service in a decent atmosphere."

"Hands down the best Steak House on Oahu. If you are looking for a great steak in the perfect atmosphere...this is the place! The Filet Mignon tastes like butter!!! "Fantastic Filet! Love the lavosh too! Service was exceptional. The restaurant was full and I made a reservation but for the wrong day! We showed up and they saw our reservation was for the following day, but still found us a table without much of a wait. I was impressed that they honored our reservation still given they were telling walk-ins it would be another 90 minutes for a table!"

"We LOVE Ruth's Chris! It's our favorite restaurant on Oahu. This was our first time dining at the Waikiki location, and let me say, it was an even BETTER experience than the Restaurant Row location! The service was exceptional and extremely attentive! The food was amazing as always, but we felt that the quality of the food here superceded the quality at the other location. The BBQ shrimp was delicious and the shrimp were HUGE! The crab cakes were all crab meat. Oysters delicious. My rib eye was melt in your mouth as was my BF's t bone. The crab stuffed mushrooms were yummy, and the mushrooms were huge! A manager even stopped by to check on us. The mud pie was a delicious dessert to end. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED! Visit this location!"

"February 24th 2013 we visited Ruth Chris and expected the fantastic service, food and wine we have come to expect from Ruth Chris and we were not disappointed. They had a great selection of wines. Their steak is nothing short of phenomenal add a bake potato loaded and you are in heaven! They sat us by the window and we had a number of people come up to the window looking at the menu and look in at us. It was a little irritating to me. We could see the beach walk grounds which was nice."

"We eat very well at home. My husband grills excellent top grade steaks.I had a petite mignon, and my husband had a ribeye.....well worth the drive from Ewa. The service was exceptional. Nice touch with the manager popping in and saying 'Hi'. Attentive, respectful, friendly staff. Food presentation and timing perfect. We had reservations at another steakhouse. A friend strongly recommended your place over our first pick. We have been to the Ala Moana and Las Vegas Ruth Chris', never disappointing. Thank you"

"Boys night out for some steak. Food was great but service was exceptional. Hostess, Corrine, was awesome. We had drinks at the bar while we waited for our tables. The bartender Russell was on his game. Drinks were served quickly and very refreshing. When our table was ready Corrine came and got us. Our waiter, Brandon, was exceptional. He was attentive, without being over bearing, friendly, and made great recommendations. Kudos to the management for assembling a great team. Will definitely be back."

"I had been to Ruth Chris' many times and have always had a great experience there, so I thought that having a belated Valentine's Dinner there with my girlfriend would be a good idea considering she had never been there before. We started with oysters Rockefeller that came on a flaming plate of rock salt, which were delicious and the osso bucco ravioli, which were also good, but could have used a little more filling. As for entrees I had the veal chop again and my girl had the petit beef filet and lobster combo, We ended the night with the bread pudding which I could have eaten by myself, but didn't...it could have fed two people. As always the food and service is wonderful and it made for a very special night."

"Once again, Ruth Chris in Waikiki never misses a beat and our family birthday experience was just the best for us. Marc, our server, was so terrific with a warm and welcoming (and funny) manner that we all enjoyed as well as his knowledge of offerings too. Our steaks were cooked to perfection along with everything else we enjoyed from appetizers (the best shrimp cocktail in town and one of the few restaurants that offer great beefsteak tomatoes and Maui onions salad) and don't miss out on the 'berries & cream' or banana cream pie for dessert - both are unique and totally a surprise. And John, one of the managers there is just wonderful, always with a warm smile and offers of any assistance. You just can't go wrong at Ruth Chris Waikiki!"

"From the moment we were seated, everything was superb. The waitstaff could not have been more friendly or helpful, particularly Matt and Brandon.
The porterhouse for two was noteworthy, as was the accompanying Obsidian wine. The prices are not for the faint of heart. Overall, a very lovely evening."

"This was my first visit to a Ruth's Chris Steak House and I was very disappointed. I found the food to be very salty, especially tha calamari. After a few bites I could not eat it. The rib eye steak was just okay but nothing to rave about. The baked potato and asperigus were good but way over priced. I expected more from such a fine restaurant. I will give it another try sometime hoping that this was just a bad night for them."
