Savannah Steak and Chop House is a contemporary American Steak House serving regional American dishes with a Southern accent. The warm, clubhouse décor features dark wood, oversized booths, soft lighting and stone fireplaces. The menu features an extensive variety of steaks, chops, seafood and Southern specialties. Indulge in a perfectly crafted martini, a single-malt scotch, or glass of wine while listening to live jazz in the fireplace lounge. We also offer a selection of fine cigars to enjoy on our heated patio. Savannah’s ‘private dining room’ has a warm ambience, with its own fireplace, creating an intimate gathering place for up to 60 people. Our 100 seat patio, with fire pit and ocean view, is also available for private parties.

"Our appetizers, Fillet Mignon Skewer was very salty. However the Fried Calamari was very good. My friend's main dish, the New York Strip Steak, ordered medium rare, came out medium. It wasn't good. My main dish, Sea Bass was horrible. I sent the meal back and requested the Grilled Pork Chop instead. After 15 minutes, the food came and it was again horrible. The Pork Chop was very salty. The Chocolate Souffle was also very bad and the ice cream that came on top of the cake tasted very unusual. Service was acceptable. Overall, the experience was horrible and I won't be coming back."

"Overcrowded and overbooked. A shame good be great restaurant. Sat in area by fireplace and music which was nice.. but having the door open and close was not fun and made area cool. My husband enjoyed shrimp scampi appetizer, main course prime rib was overcooked. Wine pairings don't both with just house wines. Relaxed evening. Enjoyed music. But may be better to sit in main room. Prime rib wouldn't order again"

"The kabocha squash & chestnut soup was fabulous, as was the hot chocolate souffle cake. The risotto was not at all to my taste, & I've had many a risotto. My husband's prime rib was disappointing; he ordered end cut & got it. The vegetable sides are always wonderful; but we are frequently unhappy with the main dishes. Service & atmosphere were very good."

"We went to Savannah Chop House for their Orange County Restaurant Week prix fixe dinner and were not disappointed. The appetizer portions were so generous (4 large yummy scampi and a good sized Southern Chopped Salad) that we took half our entree home for lunch the next day. The entree selection was great and we had the salmon and the pork chop. The salmon was good but the pork chop was so much better, a large juicy doublecut chop perfectly cooked served with vegetables and mashed potatoes. I highly recommend Savannah Chop House."

"Went for an anniversary/late Valentine's Day dinner and were not disappointed. I had prime rib, my boyfriend had the Voodoo steak and both of us enjoyed our meal. The butternut squash side was delicious. The only drawback was that we were seated near the door on the patio, so the music in the bar was a bit too noisy at times. It did not contribute to the romance of the occasion. We will go back and request a table further from the door next time. The service was very good as well."

"We walked in to hear live music! How nice! The prime rib was very good and cooked to order, however, my bone-in rib eye was a little underdone and the mashed potatoes with cheese were overly salted. The service was good; however, the ambiance of the restaurant was what sold us. We were seated near the fireplace and could hear each other talk! This was our first visit and will not be our last."

"It was my first time at the restaurant and the food and the service was excellent. I do have one complaint however. The Valentines price-fix menu inflated the prices greatly. Had I ordered the same appetizer, entree, and desert of the regular day menu it would have cost 50 dollars less per person. That put a bad taste in my mouth and I am unlikely to return to the restaurant"

"We were very disappointed in the restaurant. Infact, when we returned we had an over-whelming feeling of being ripped-off. The portion size was ridiculously small,and we are not BIG eaters. "My girlfriend and I went here for the Valentine's Day Weekend. We're always a little adventurous and like to try new (highly recommended) places on our special days. The Savannah Chop House succeeded in fulfilling our expectations of a romantic fine dining experience. The food was amazing, the service was spot on (neither intrusive nor neglectful and very helpful and informative), and the ambiance was perfectly matched for the restaurant - and having sat right by the fireplace, extremely romantic!

"We went here for my boyfriends 30th birthday. It was a great surprise. We had very little expectations, since we've never heard of the place. We go to the 24hr Fitness across the parking lot and thought we'd give it a shot. I was surprised that the server we had was so casual with such a higher end food and wine. Maybe because we were on the younger side compared to the other guests. Overall...great time and would go back."

"Pro: The food was good and the atmosphere is nice. Wait staff was quick and attentive & took care of requests effectively.

Con: Went on Valentine's Day. No advance notice of a limited menu that day which was $95 per person. In my opinion, for this restaurant, way too high a cost. Should have been more like $70 to $75 maximum. Brought our own bottle of wine, so no alcohol on the bill, just a $15 corkage fee. Total cost including tax & tip was over $250 for two of us. Way too much!!!! For that reason, don't plan to go back any time soon, & certainly never on a special menu day."

"We had a very enjoyable dining experiene at Savannah's. The service and food was excellent. Good selection of entrees and reasonable prices for such a classy restaurant. The main dining room is set up with all private booths and is very nice. Unfortunately we got seated in the back dining area which wasn't anywhere as nice, even though I had requested a private booth when making my reservation, we ended up with a very long booth that accompanied several tables and overlooked tables in the middle and an American flag next to the fireplace that looked totally out of place. I would definitely go back, but I would make sure to stipulate that I wanted the main dining room this time, as I was unaware of this back room when I made reservations"

"We haven't been back here for awhile after the very last bad experience with their food. And once again, I was very disappointed with my entree. However, my husband's and my kid's dish were as expected. So I ended up sharing the food with them instead. I should have complaint to the server but I didn't want him to have to take the food back to the chef. Anyway, I've been telling everyone about this restaurant when we started dining here and recommended it to everyone I know. But now, I think I have to stop doing that."

"The pre-fixe meal was a good value at its price, but if it costed any more, I would have been very disappointed. "Servers were very friendly, and food was fantastic. my girlfriend got the artichoke appetizer (which i also nibbled on) and i got the warm spinach salad. both were very good and of good size. for our entrees my girlfriend got the filet minion stroganoff (which i would recommend ordering the meat medium rare or rare on) and i got the ahi steak (i ordered it as rare as they could make it because i dont like tough tuna, and it was perfect). we finished off with the new york cheesecake, and it was delightful. we got all that, and drinks, for $65.00. I say it was definitely worth it, will definitely go back, and definitely recommend it to others."

"We love Savannah Chop House. The used to be pretty pricey because they could be. But they actually have kept up the economic times and adjusted a bit. Still not a place to go to every night but entrees are now in the 20's instead of 30's. Warm romantic environment and caters to a pretty wide range of guests anywhere between late 20's - 60's."

"Our waiter was fantastic and witty and attentive without being overly present. The decor is very enjoyable.

Only one of us really liked our food. Four of us went to dinner. The fried chicken was excellent. The rest of agreed that the flavor concepts that were so enticing on the menu where not executed well. The signature flavor was more weird and/or overbearing in the dishes, rather than an excellent esseence."

"We love Savannah! I usually get fish or the vegetable risotto...very good. My fiance gets the flat iron steak. They have a good selection of wine by the glass. The only thing that we don't like is the valet. During a prior dining experience we parked in a non-valet spot, only to have the valet guy bring over a cone and put it behind the car asking for our keys. Not cool. It's weird to have valet there...we're not in Hollywood."

"Overall, the experience was positive however I expected a little more etiquette from a restaurant of this ilk.

The wait staff had difficulty knowing where glassware, flatware and dinnerware belong. A pet peeve, I know, but again this isn't Carl's.

Steak was overdone which you might expect in any other restaurant other than a "chophouse"."

"I enjoy the Savannah Chop House a lot, and this time we invited three other couples for our annual Holiday Dinner. The food was very good, and our only gripes are that the drinks were quite watered down (Lemon Drop martini and the Moulin Rouge) and the prime parking was for the valets, instead of being for the patrons (shouldn't the patrons have to do less walking than the valets??)."

"Our 8:30pm dinner for 8 reservation took till after 9pm to seat us, followed by several exemptions on the menu ( we love prime rib and half of us were disappointed that they were out of our favorite cut of beef). We enjoyed conversation and drinks however the presentation of dinners was moderate to lacking in any culinary scense. Sizzler would have been a better and more cost effective evening. Savannah chop house is a mere shell of it's former glory (I've been attending for about 20 years). I'm very upset with the overall experience. I won't be attending again any time soon."

"The food was really good, I had the halibut it was a tad dry but the flavors were fantastic. My husband had the chicken and it was battered with a buttermilk crust that was divine.The restaurant is old world and feels like an old lodge with deep red booth seating and a faux deer antler chandelier in the main dining area. They have a pianist in the bar area on weekends, which was full when we came in.The only thing that was disappointing was our waiter. He seemed to be over it in general, all the other staff stepped up and helped to salvage the night but service was a bit of a bummer. All in all for a dinner out it was fine."

"Unfortunately, Savannah Chop House has changed for the worse; they have removed that great menu which was very attractive and pleasant to us customers who frequent it.
For a long time, they had on their menu what they called, I believe, the “The perfect Ten”. They had Crab legs, small filet-mignon, chicken, etc. for an unbelievable $10 each order. At this time of economic crisis…that was an outstanding generosity and the result was a place that was always packed, reservations were hard to get, but now…hardly anyone goes there. I wonder why?
About their service: My wife ordered a stuffed lobster ($29.99) and a Caesar salad ($11+) and I ordered a “Rare” Filet Mignon ($39.99) and a Caesar Salad ($7.99)…still don’t know why a different price"
