"My family took me here for Mother's Day. Their brunch cocktails were great. I recommend the Diablo, especially. My daughter's Eggs Benedict might have been the table favorite. The scallion hollandaise took it over the top. We also shared the doughnuts with vanilla mascarpone and jam. When I say we "shared" them, I meant that our daughter allowed us to have one each and then she moved the plate out of our reach and she consumed the rest of them with a crazy look in her eyes."

"The bread and carrot soup were excellent as was the asparagus. Salmon just okay, and the thick piece of pork was nice on the outside and notably dry on the inside. Hockey puck comes to mind. Maybe only because it was a Monday night. Hadn't been there in almost 10 years and was disappointed."

"We love the Dahlia Lounge- it was where we went on our first date 11 years ago and where we most often go to celebrate special occasions together. It never disappoints. The food is incredible, with the main staples pretty consistently available with changes made to the accompanying sides as the seasons change. The seabar offers the freshest, finest tastes of our waters and the menu seems to proudly represent Seattle and its influences. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the ambiance is warm and cozy. We most definitely recommend it!"

"Our first visit to this iconic restaurant was most enjoyable. The Restaurant Week luncheon menu was varied and generous. Tom's delicious versions of old favorites like tomato soup and grilled cheese were a welcome treat. We'll certainly be back on future visits to the city."

"Overall a top restaurant for location, food, sterling service and fun atmosphere. Went last day of restaurant week and I was impressed with the waitstaff, who went out of his way to check on us frequently, offer suggestions, make sure our meal was not rushed although the restaurant filled up quickly and there were people waiting to be seated. Each course was outstanding, both in flavors and preparation. The only item which was not perfect, oddly, was the coconut pie. Although the flavor was rich and the coconut toasted, the crust was so tough that I actually could not cut it with a fork. Frankly, this was a minor detail and I would certainly order it again. All Tom Douglas restaurants seem to be well organized with attention to detail"

"The food is always fabulous here. Our server just did not care for his job. We asked about the wine that we were paired as part of the dining Seattle experience dinners and he was not interested in telling us about them."

"My husband and I went for Seattle Restaurant Week and left rather unimpressed. The meal was good and so was all that other restaurant stuff, but the menu - one I figure would be special for SRW - seemed fit for tourists. Fried chicken salad and a grilled cheese during restaurant week? Really? I would think that the week is the time to build a solid clientele base from people who don't necessarily venture down that way. I treat the week as a way to get around town. Guess mine is not the prevalent mentality. The appetizers were delicious, as was the fish, although its accompaniments were heavily salted. Creme brulee is excellent, but the bundt was just fine. Meh."

"Have been wanting to go here for many years and was frankly pretty disappointed. The food was decent but nothing special, other Tom Douglas restaurants I have been to were better. The one thing that was great was a dessert, the peppercorn panna cotta - fabulous!"

"My partner and I visited for restaurant week but were underwhelmed. The server barely acknowledged us and mumbled. Our entrees were inconsistent. The clam and seaweed soup was bland. The potato and leek turnover was flaky and delicious but the side salad with chantrelle mushrooms was way too salty. However, the wine pairings were delightful and both of our desserts were perfect (sorbet and a panna cotta). It was a pleasant experience here but I'm glad we weren't paying more than prix fixe."

"Dahlia Lounge is a true Seattle gem. Part of the Tom Douglas food experience - a trip to Seattle is not complete without a late night visit to this local hotspot. Service is friendly, welcoming and informative. Food is creative with a northwest spin. The clam and seaweed soup is a memorable creation. The wine list is original and affordable. If you choose one restaurant in Seattle this is it!"

"Dahlia was a wonderful restaurant with great choices. Their duck, pork loin, and fish are amazing. The wait staff have extensive knowledge on wine pairings with dinner and their service is amazing. "This was my first return visit after a long absence. It was wonderful to confirm that the restaurant's quality food and service had not changed. My husband and I find that parking downtown is a challenge such that we try to avoid dining downtown. However, this experience has convinced me that we should dine here again very soon."

"Had the Restauraunt Week special. I chose the tomato soup (truly outstanding), the fried chicken salad (truly mediocre) and the coconut pie bite (wonderful!). The problem with the salad was that it was quite unimaginative, with a fried chicken breast (good breading) in slices on a romaine, sliced multi-colored miniature peppers, celery salad with ok but not great dressing. I would have wanted something much more interesting in the salad. That said - the soup was flavorful, thick and rich, and the dessert was not too sweet and very coconutty. Great."

"A bit disappointed-my crab cakes were wonderful, my husband's steak was average. Appetizers were great and wine list was above average. Was really looking forward to an unforgettable meal-did not deliver. The wait staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like you are the only people in the restaurant."

"We enjoyed our dinner at the Dahlia Lounge. My guests had the duck and said it was delicious. I had the steak and it was flavorful and tender and cooked as ordered. As appetizers we shared potsticker and fresh local clams - both were yummy. My guests had the donuts - one of my all time favorites for dessert. I had the coconut cream pie which was excellent as always. I did find the main dish menu limited but it did have some interesting meatless options and a variety of meat options that I will want to return to try."

"A very nice and enjoyable evening. The only criticism was the rib-eye steak I ordered. Unfortunately it was the most expensive item on the menu. It tasted good (not great) and was cooked as ordered, but the steak was only about 1/2 inch thick and was a bit dry. The rest of the meal and the service were top-of-the-line. We will certainly go back If only for the donuts! In fact, for everything except the steak."

"First time in this Tom Douglas place, we went at Easter and expected a special menu, but nope just a normal menu. Not a lot of food choices, but size of food was generous, fresh squeezed oj was nice. French toast was a bit too gooey with so many toppings omelet is small, biscuit was dry but preserves helped. Bacon was thick and tasty. Nice place overall but nothing special for breakfast IMO .service was outstanding"
