"I remembered the morning of that I had not called to update my reservation to ask for an outlet; my daughter, who was born after I made the reservation, is on a heart monitor. I called that morning (Mother's Day), and they were able to find us a very baby-friendly table right next to an outlet. The service was excellent, as was most of the food. The coffee was wonderful, even the decaf, and they kept our cups full. If we are in the area again, we will stop back for sure!"

"The menu doesn't give diners a variety of options. Also, the entrees we ordered weren't very flavorful. When that is combined with the fact that our waiter wasn't very pleasant, I probably will not return."

"I was so looking forward to having Mother's Day brunch at Coquette since it was where we had our co-ed baby shower for our little one a few months prior. However, I was sadly disappointed with the lack of warmth and accommodation from the staff members. The hostesses were not very friendly or accommodating which was followed by a horrible waiter. We have had better service before which I thought would be the case this visit.
We love North Hills and the overall ambiance, so having great restaurant options there are always a plus; however, I think Coquette would now be lower on our go-to list."

"We have had great service until last time. Once our order was taken we had to stop other servers in order to get help. We never saw our server again until he brought us the bill. We had even wanted more wine but never was able to place it. I left a comment card with the hostess but doubted that it was given to the manager."

"I just love this restaurant. The food is perfectly prepared every time. The service is wonderful and friendly. The desserts are out of this world. Great for foodies! The wine was fine. "Have been to this wonderful restaurant many times, and will return many more. Tried some new dishes this time - petite alsatian tart was creamy & delicious on a very thin crust; the mussels in red pepper w. chorizo sauce was double the usual portion of moules frites elsewhere, and of course their frites are superior.
Our waiter wasn't familiar enough with the beer selections to recommend anything but they did have my favorite aperitif, Lillet, and that always rates some extra points.
Overall a great bistro/brasserie feel and menu."

"The food was fantastic. I am on a GF diet so I often get nervouse trying a new place but these guys handled my special diet beautifully. My ONLY complaint, was a reaction from our server. Yes, it was a Friday night and we had reservations, and I'm sure that at that sort of place our ordering of water to drink was abnormal.... I am pregnant and my husband is a coke person (they serve Pepsi products) so we ordered water at the onset. The look on our waitresses face was utter disappointment when we did. I have been in the food service industry before, but the expression on her face was unnecessary. We did order a starter and made sure to leave a good tip even though we didn't have a huge alcohol tab."

"We had a lovely meal at Coquette, the service and food were excellent, it was a breezy day and the windows were all open - felt just like a french bistro!
One thing to note - if you go there for lunch, be aware that you need to let the staff know if you have a time limit, our meal was very relaxed and enjoyable, but we were a bit panicky when we realized how much time had gone by and we had to return to work!"

"We had reservations with open table for 12:45 and were not seated until 1:10. The omelette that I got for brunch was not good at all. An egg cooked in omelette style with just a little b it of ham, cheese and onions just folded in the middle. Not your typical omelette with all mixed together. Also got a half order of pancakes that were not very good,however, the last time I got the pancakes they were delicious. That's one reason I wanted to go back. Service was good!

"The food was good, but its been the same menu. Although there are specials, we are tired of the same offerings. The beauty of a French Bistro is that it can re-invent its offering to keep it fresh.
Loved the beet salad and the french toast was yummy. Fruit and yogurt seemed typical and uninteresting. French onion soup was loaded with onion and melty cheese.
Dissappointed to learn that the chef who won "Chef Wanted" wasn't onboard."

"This was our first visit to Coquette. The food was very good. I had the scallops and my dining partner had the pork. She ordered the pork medium but it arrived medium rare. It was returned to the kitchen and came back quickly at the right temperature. Both dishes were delicious. We ordered the profiteroles with cherry vanilla ice cream and frozen chocolate mousse for desert. They were excellent as well. The cherry vanilla ice cream was tart and the warm chocolate sauce was rich.
The noise level was high but we could still hold a conversation.
We'll definitely return."

"Went to Coquette for my birthday. I am a foodie so I love to try new restaurants, however, my brother is very picky so I have to write my review based on his response. He cleaned his plate! We started with oysters, escargot and the truffle frites which were to die for. I had the scallops which were perfectly seared and accompanied by all the right components. Both my mom and brother had steak with frites and both said they were cooked to perfection. Overall an excellent meal and I am planning to return for Mother's Day! Service was good and the ambiance was energetic. The acoustics are not super great so if you have a group, this might be a great place but for a quiet romantic dinner, not so much."

"What a great evening out with friends! Coquette was wonderful. I was meeting a friend and as it turned out our group grew by one and they accomodated us with no issue. Our waiter was friendly and explained the items on the menu (our French is pretty bad). Everyone enjoyed their food and dessert was fabulous.

"I heard good things about Coquette from coworkers so thought I should check it out. I thought Coquette was a really nice restaurant. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and very French, and I love the partially outdoor seating areas that replicate little Parisian terraces. Very cute. "Husband and I had the smoked salmon, asparagus, boursin omelette. Both our omelettes did not have enough salmon, asparagus or boursin. In fact, it seemed there was barely one tablespoon of each. The omelette was too thick and not light and fluffy. Others in our party had the Croque Monsieur and French toast which were very good. The service was very good considering it was Easter Sunday at prime brunch time."

"We frequently come here and there always seems to be an issue - Usually it's the service however this time our guy was great and very polite. Usually they are rude and last time we paid with cash and were shorted $10, when I asked our server he was like "oh sorry" like he wasn't surprised at all. The time before that I asked for a cocktail to be served "up" and the girl literally got mad about it. This time there was eggshells in my boyfriends brunch and they didn't seem capable of frying me an egg white rather than a sunny side up egg. We keep giving this place a try because they have such great brunch but sadly it might be time to let them go"

"We had an excelent dinner at Coquette's. The service was very good. The waiter had a number of tables, but handled it well. The menu offers a good selection and all of us had to choose among several items that were appealing. The atmosphere was also very good making it an enjoyable evening."

"We had eaten at Coquette once before, and had a great experience. This time was no different. Our waiter was excellent and I found it very thoughtful of the restaurant to continue to fill our water glasses after we had already paid our bill. They did not rush us out even though it was not until after 11 when we left. The food was very good (much like I had in France) and the atmosphere was very romantic. We will definitely be back in the future."
