"Thrive is and continues to be an underrated establishment. I've eaten there many times for lunch, happy hour, and dinner and never had one bad experience. The food at happy hour isn't going to win competitions, but the drink prices more than make up for it. Their cocktail creations are inexpensive and quite good. Who goes to happy hour for the food anyways? The dinner filet was cooked perfectly. Also try the fried green tomatoes and apple fritters. Delicious!!"

"We ordered two entrees and both were dry and flavorless. I've cooked better food at home. However the service and ambience was good. The waiter asked how the food was and I told him my thoughts. He brought some more sauce and that helped a bit. Still, the duck entree and the tuna entree left much to be desired."

"It was a very busy night there, so it took a while to get seated, but we arrived a bit late so I give them a pass on that. Once we did, the service was very friendly and enthusaiastic, but not always capable (orders were a little mixed up for both wine and food.) They were definitely a bit understaffed for the occasion and our waiter lacked experience. The pleasant surprise was the food. Much better than we expected across everthing we ordered; and it was all fairly priced. Go on a quiet night."

"I am a frequent visitor to Georgia. Being from NYC it is hard to find an establishment that compares to what is available in NY. I would say Thrive is my new go to spot when I am looking for a great Saturday evening. The food is delicious with a sophisticated twist. The prices and quantity is reasonable. On Saturdays, the restaurant turns into a lounge/dance club. The atmosphere was sophisticated. The DJ kept the floor at full capacity."

"Thrive created an exceptional experience. We currently live in Minneapolis which is home to many great restaurants and travel a lot so you could say we have been around the block a few times. The Georgia Shrimp appetizer was amazing--the seasoning was spot on. I had the Thrive Special and Vesuvius sushi rolls, which the waiter recommended when I couldn't decide and both were fresh and contrasted each other nicely. My boyfriend ordered the filet of beef tenderloin, which was cooked medium rare perfectly and the waiter also recommended a great malbec that my boyfriend really enjoyed. The prices were very reasonable for the high-quality dishes and wine, and the atmosphere was very comfortable, yet upscale. We will be back!"

"I don't drink alcohol, so I cannot attest to the wine list or "vibrant bar scene." However, my friend and I were recently in Atlanta for a meeting. We loved the varied menu at Thrive. We at two out of four dinners at Thrive during our stay in Atlanta. Loved the Scallops and Grits on the first evening. The second evening, I ordered a variety of vegetables from the "sides" menu. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly. We enjoyed our time at Thrive."

"I made reservations for 6:30pm, March 1st, a party of 2, for Tedeschi. We arrived at 6:25, went to the hostess area to check in. We were acknowledged and asked to wait at the bar for just a minute. We thought about ordering a drink but decided to wait since it was only going to be a minute and decided we'd enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner.
As we waited (15 minutes now) it was VERY clear that the restaurant was in the weeds,no one acknowledged we had waited more than a minute, and it will be longer, for whatever the reason.
30 minutes later, we grabbed a small table at the bar and as a waitress ran buy we asked if we could order food. She did help us and she was great. Otherwise, really bad experience."

"We were late to our reservation so was not seated right away, which is understandable. We did have to wait 30-45min to be seated. In the meantime trying to order a drink at the bar was awful. There was only one bartender and she was so busy that it took about 20 minutes fo her to take our orders. But once we were seated out waiter was very efficient and nice. Appetizers came out very quickly and our entrees were delicious."

Some of the seaweed wrappers seemed extra tough to chew and a couple of the items had stonger fish taste than they should have had...that said it wasn't a bad find close to the Convention Center. "We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our recent visit to Thrive. The sushi was delicious, the entrees were cooked perfectly and the service was attentive. We really liked the modern decor and the location was very easy to find. Our only minor disappointment was the desserts. They were forgettable. Overall we loved it and we look forward to another visit soon."

"Thrive is among the top 3 restaurants I have been to in Atlanta(I have been to a lot). I had to drag my wife screaming to go to Thrive but at the end of our date night, she was planning for our next visit. That is how good the food and service was.
