"we reserved for 6 people on Mother's Day at 645p only to learn our concert began 730p. We phoned and the manager instantly changed our reservations to 530p ON A HOLIDAY....to accomodate our needs. Food and service were beyond compare and the ladies each received a beautiful complimentary white rose!! Cannot say enough positive about this restaurant - will return as often as possible,"

"Although their food was good, we will not be returning. The wait staff was "angry". We did not feel welcomed. When my dinner was "served", our waiter actually threw a lemon wedge on my plate! He was standing about 6 feet away!"

"The food here was good but I would never go back based solely on the service. My entire table felt neglected the entire time. There was never a smile from any of the servers, no one ever offered us a wine list, and no one offered us bread or olive oil to start even through ever other table around us had it. From the moment we walked in and saw the hostess to the moment we gave our ticket to the valet, not one person on staff was pleasant."

"I LOVE the food at this place. The pastas are amazing, the food is always fresh and the owner of the restaurant and a few other people are nice. My only complain is that service is usually the worst I have ever had in my life. After spending more than 100 bucks at least you expect normal service. They are rude, mean, awful. They are always the same people, so I keep coming back and keep getting the same rude attitude, and the same great food. They don't understand that you are paying them, to serve you. I've been to many restaurants in NYC so I know what mean people is about, but these people are out of this world"

"Very noisy. Our table was too close to the kitchen. Lots of pots and pans clanging and the door to the kitchen swinging open and closed. The food is good but the prices are a little high."

"Admittedly it was a Saturday night, but the noise and the constant motion of people moving by was very unappealing. The food was fair enough, but we were seated at a table which was not only the smallest at which I have eaten in a long while but wedged in between 2 columns with another similar sized table close enough to share the salt and pepper shakers. The waiter had to tap us on the shoulder to let us know he was there.
Energetic id a diplomatic word for loud in this case.
Maybe a Monday night would be better."

"Grissini's is one of my favorite restaurants in NJ and I have been going there for more thna a decade. My most recent meal was good, but portion size was noticeably smaller. Not sure if that was a one off, or a new approach."

"I enjoyed this restaurant very much and would recommend it. I am not familiar with the relative prices in the area so I cannot exactly comment on the value/4-5$$$$ based the check. I suppose one should take a careful look at the prices in advance. The food was tasty and served nicely. The menu was creative. The table staff was pleasant and very attentive."

"Let me start by saying the food was great. It was cooked perfectly, and tasted very well. My issues were with the staff and the prices. The wait staff was basically non attentive to us. It was so bad, I had to ask another waiter to get our check. We have eaten in many restaurants throughout NYC so we know what a top notch restuarant should charge. The price for dinner, for two would be expected in a place far better than this, with better service. I don't think we will be going back."

"1st time here food was average at best (except seafood salad was exceptional) quail app was way over done one person in our party ordered chopped salad veggies looked "old" . Main courses were bland my wife ordered ravioli with butter sage sauce, was nit seasoned and sage was no where to be found. while the veal I had was very tender again there was no seasoning....on to service I can't tell you our servers name (because he never gave it to us) but he seemed to preoccupied to answer our questions when we asked what he liked on the menu, he basically recited the menu."
