An modern American restaurant with Japanese inference, emphasis on fresh seafood and seasonal, regionally grown produce. An unpretentious decor and a menu of sophisticated and artistically presented dishes that diners with discriminating taste rave about. The five to seven course tasting menus are a delightful way to experience the cuisine. Enjoy your meal with a selection of the extensive wine list. The restaurant is located in Cos Cob, Greenwich, minutes from interstate I-95.
"Good dining in Greenwich is easy to find. But a table at a restaurant where you'll be served great food and still be able to hear your dinner partners and not have to impress the maitre d' to get seated, well, that's a little harder to fine. Nuage is that rare restaurant that has really great fish and seafood, is quiet and elegant, but not crazy busy and loud. When we want a nice quiet evening, this is where we dine."

"You can't rush through a meal here, but that's OK, because if you wanted fast food, you could go to McDonald's. The staff and the kitchen take their time to present you with delicious food. If you're in a hurry, stay away, but if you want to spend a relaxing evening with your spouse, eating imaginative and delicious food, and waited upon by a friendly but unobtrusive staff, then this is the place to go. We've never had a bad meal here, and can't wait to go back."

"Words can't describe the riveting experience we had at Nuage. I had the pleasure of returning to Nuage after my first visit with our business partner. We had the Nuage five course Tasting menu ($65), which was the perfect portion for us. Notable dishes for me were the yellow tail tartare, tuna carpaccio with yuzu, and crispy black bass. we also loved the lobster risotto. For cocktails, I recommend trying the Modern Manhattan and the Nuage Breeze. Best part of the meal was the service (attentive and not pushy nornor snobby). They even gave us a dessert on the house when I mentioned we were celebrating."

"Thank you for making us feel comfortable & welcomed to your exquisite restaurant. The food was so precisely prepared & so beautifully presented. It was delicious! It was the best Fried Oysters that I have ever had, almost melt in my mouth. Even my son, who does not eat any kind of fish, loved the Chilean Seabass. We had the tasting menu which was comprised of a variety of dishes, one was better than the other. I would highly recommend the tasting menu as the way to dine at Menu for your first experience. Also, the cocktail "Blue Smash" is the best ! I can't wait to go back with the rest of our family & friends & try more dishes. Compliments to all the Chefs who worked so hard to make the evening a memorable experience!"

"We went to Nuage for dinner for my birthday, we had tuna tartare and rock shrimp tempura for appetizer, they were great, then we had grouper with asian spice leek sauce and crispy duck, both were excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful with food suggestions. We can't wait to go back"

"Had 8:15 reservation and did not get seated till half hour later. Decor and drinks were very good. Reataurant was very loud. Service was poor. Didnt get appetizers till 45 minutes after order placed. Dinner took so long that we actually got up and left after waiting over hour. You can tell looking around other customers were annoyed as well. Maybe it was off night but not running back."

"The food took forever to come out of the kitchen. It is unfortunate because it's a great menu and there isn't really anything like it in Greenwich. My friends had to leave after waiting close to an hour in between appetizer and entree course. The entrees arrived and one was missing. Really annoying and frustrating at those prices"

"Been many times, but this is second time we were very disappointed. Just after 7 it started to clear. Service very slow. couldn't get a ginger ale straight. Never offered bread and when asked, the server said they ran of bread. It took forever for the main to come, when the owner passed by our table I asked why, his answer was "because you didn't order an appetizer".Was that a punishment? I have to say my main course of roasted sea bass in black bean sauce was very good. Won't go back."

"A ruined Saturday evening dinner with friends. The four of us waited one hour from the time we sat until appetizers were delivered and it was two hours and ten minutes until the main courses arrived. In the meantime, the waiter disappeared, the manager did his best to avoid us and no one (other than a young waiter not assigned to our table) made any attempt to explain or apologize.
Probably should try this restaurant soon, because with service like this, it will not be around for long."

"This was the worst restaurant experiebce i have had in years. The reserbation wwas for 8pm. We sat down at 8:45 PM. Nobody came to the tableuntil I went and got the waiter. If I did not go an find a server, we would still be sitting there. When we had not gotten any food by 10 PM, we left.I would only recommend this restaurant to people I did not like."

"We are foodies, I was hosting a fussy NYC type at our local gem and we had a "lovely" meal but the taste was not as great as the "lovely" presentation. The octopus was a tad tough for a place which is billed as a hi end seafood restaurant. And the cripsy duck was actually too much so and actually "dry": not cooked to order but reheated? deep fryed? My seafood soup (bowl as was my main course ) did not have some of the items listed in the medly and the broth was bland. I guess I was expecting more of a Thai or Mediterranean broth. BUT we wanted quiet after a busy day, and the service and ambiance were perfect!"

"What a great find. I asked a couple of friends to recommend a quite romantic place, to take my wife for her birthday, that would not break the bank. Nuage came up in everybody's recommendations so I gave it a shoot. The pleasant greeting at the door relaxed us immediately and as we walked into the quite small dinning room I knew that I had hit a home run as far as romantic goes. The menu had a wonderful interesting selection and I was pleasantly surprised at the affordable price points. Putting all of the superficial stuff aside...the food was great and the staff was friendly and very professional. I has most definitely made our dinning circle."

"The food at Nuage was fantastic - my date and I were completely surprised and pleased. We had the seared fois gras, squid ink pasta with lobster special and sea scallops on polenta. Everything was fresh and tasty. Our waiter was sweet and helpful - it was disheartening that at 9pm on a Friday this place was virtually empty. (Probably due to price!)"
