"My husband and I met at a Black Angus Restaurant 34 years ago. We just celebrated our 31st anniversary and we always go to the Black Angus for dinner to celebrate. This year I enjoyed their filet mignon with mushrooms, garlic mash potatoes & wedge salad. My husband ordered the Rib Eye steak, loaded baked potato & wedge salad. We each had a margarita from the bar (happy hour) and would recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants a good meal for a good price."

"Only bright spot of the night was our waitress...until she got a party of 8 then we were on our own. The prime rib was a very thin cut with a great deal of fat. 50% was edible. Both the quality and cut were very disappointing. Well under their stated 1/2 lb. The filet mignon was done as ordered and also a smaller than typical portion. Presentation of the food was rushed (?) or haphazard. According to our waitress it was a very slow Friday night for them. Overall, I would not recommend based on this experience."

"We ordered steak, of course, and we asked for it to be cooked medium. It was not cooked medium, but more like medium well... I would expect that a steakhouse cook steak right! Especially if we are paying $30-$40 per meal. But the other food we got with our meal was good! Like the steak soup & lobster!"

"I'm not from California so I'd never heard of this restaurant before. The decore a Western theme but it was clean. The service was ok, had to wait a bit for drinks and ordering. But it was mothers day and didn't want to spoil the day. I got the chicken and my wife got the shrimp. Both were yummy. The table bread and the potato's au gratin were the best. The two younger kids go the standard kid stuff. My oldest got the chicken sandwich and that was delicious, the bread took that to the next level. I'd go back, maybe i'll even try the steak. Good place for the family."

"For Mother's Day, my kids and I took my wife out to dinner a day early to avoid the crush. I made a reservation and they seated us only about 15 minutes late. No big deal. It was busy. What was less than adequate was the fact that my wife had to send her meal back TWICE because the waitress/cook/other BA employee could get it in their head that medium rare is not well done. Seems like they would have done this before."

"We often enjoy Black Angus, but even with a reservation we still ended up in the bar area with 7 big monitors with sports going. Our waiter was very slow and we had to ask for everything. The food was only good, not as good as it usually is. I'm not giving up on them but I was disappointed."

"We arrived at 5:30 for a 5:45 reservation and were not sat until after 6:00 P. M., table was not ready. We were 8 friends with 3 different checks and each one got charged 16& gratuity. We have dined there many times, as it is one of our favorite restaurants, but had never been charged for gratuity. The waiter told us that we were paying to be in the restaurant, for the building??? Do we have to pay their rent??? Service or the kitchen were extremely slow. From 1/2 hour to 45 minutes went in between courses and mind you, the restaurant was half empty. The waiter, Joey, was good. Finally, the manager reimbursed our 16%. I wouldn't recommend Black Angus unless they provide better service"

"The only problem is when we get seated, we always get a table right next to the kitchen. Last time, we requested another table, but this time, we did not want to wait as there were a lot of people waiting. It is much noisier close to the kitchen and you do not have the ambience we are looking for for a nice dinner. Also, I requested a medium rare for my steak, and I got a rare!!!!!!! "Black Angus at Blossom Hill is generally better than other Black Angus locations we have been to in terms of food quality and services. My family likes to come here when we are in the mood for steak or prime rib. My kids (both teenagers) have never rejected the idea of coming here. The steak soup is our family's favorite. And in most occasions, the Camp Fire set dinners are what we usually order. The portion and quality are pretty good, and our server is quite attentive to our requests. Overall a very nice dining experience."

"Black Angus is normally one of our go-to places for a great steak. On this visit they let us down. The New York steak my husband was served was terrible - grissly and inedible with tendon-like strings throughout it. Normally their meat is excellent quality, but this one night was unacceptable. Unfortunately the waiter didn't ask how the steak was when he saw most of it still on the plate as we definitely would have given him some feedback to share with the chef. Everything else was excellent as usual, but since our purpose for going was my husband's craving for red meat, it was really a disappointing visit. I hope they turn this around quickly!"

"My husband and were celebrating a much needed "adult night out". As always, the service and food were exceptional. Unfortunately we we're seated extremely close (literally an arms length away) to a family with unruly, screaming kids whose parents made no effort whatsoever to quiet or control them. This made our evening very uncomfortable, and at times, unbearable. It would be nice if Black Angus would provide separate sections for family and intimate gatherings. I would never have made such a comment, except this is the second time that we have had a less than pleasant experience due to the behavior of inconsiderate patrons at this location."

"Although we had a 7 pm reservation, we still waited almost 20 minutes to be seated. After being seated we did not get any sort of greeting until the waiter came to take our order 10 minutes later. "My Husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day at this place. It was good that we made reservations, as there was a line out the door when we left. Food was great. My steak was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food either, which was great, since I was starving. We will come back again, most likely before Next Valentines Day."

"We went on Valentine' Day. I had a reservation. When walking in there were alot of people waiting and I have to admit I thought we were going to be waiting a while. Well I was wrong, we waited about 5-10 minutes which wasn't bad at all considering the amount of people there. I would definitely go there anytime whether it's a special occasion or not. Food and service were great!"
