A great Steak and Seafood restaurant located in the Historic Skirvin Hilton in the heart of Downtown Oklahoma City. We are just blocks away from Bricktown, Theatre, Museums, Convention Center, the National Memorial and other sights to see while in the area. Featuring an award winning wine list (Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2008, 2009 and 2010), our service is professional, knowledgeable, and personal with a friendly Oklahoma City style. This historic restaurant features traditional Steak and Seafood cuisines set in an original 1930's setting. Complimentary Valet parking is always available for all our dining guests.
"Enjoyed an overall good experience having brunch with colleagues. I made a reservation, and our table was ready to go on time. Quiet atmosphere and most everyone was dressed appropriately with the exception of a couple that were clearly hotel guests because they came to dine in sleepwear which was inappropriate, but not the restaurant's fault. I expected fresh waffles and more pastry options than I found, but the fresh fruit and fresh omelet bar were good, the omelettes prepared by a very friendly staff member who even fulfilled some special requests I made on my order. I will visit again for the atmosphere and buffet options."

"We had our 10 year anniversary dinner at the Park Avenue Grill, and we couldn't be happier! The food was fantastic the service was great. They knew it was our anniversary so when we arrived they had menus for us printed with "happy 10 year anniversary" which was a great keepsake. They also have us a very good dessert that had happy anniversary printed on the plate with chocolate. They made it extremely special for us. all the food was wonderful!!"

"What a wonderful evening we had and the Grill made the evening very special for us. We had such friendly service everywhere-in the hotel and at our dinner and for breakfast. I would highly recommend this restaurant when planning a special event-the food was delicious and it was perfect for our large group of 11. Thank you for making the special dessert for our graduating son and for making us feel welcomed and not rushed!! It is a night to remember:) I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!!"

"The service was great, and it was very pretty, but the food was not the least bit exciting. For the same money, we could have gotten a much better meal at any number of other restaurants."

"I have lived in OKC for 71 years and eat at all of the good restaurants in OKC . My meal at the Skirvin was fantastic and the best meal I have ever had in OKC. The MOTHERS day meal was as good as I have had anywhere in the world.
I am looking forward to my next time at the Shirvin, Park Ave Grill."

"Went for sunday brunch after looking at menu online. Upon arrival brunch menu was different and more expensive, took waiter 7-10 min to even acknowledge us. This was my second time in a year. Last time was june 2012 service wasnt much better. But figured would try brunch. Im sure i wont be back"

"and there is no better place than Park Avenue Grill! Our ladies have brunch one Sunday each month and Park Avenue Grill has become one of our favorites. The food is wonderful, with many choices, providing us with a place where each of our ladies can find just the right combination of breakfast fare.
The service is outstanding because they are ever present without hovering, giving us the opportunity to talk and visit.
The ambiance is remarkable, not only because of the decor but also because the tables are not so close together that we feel intrusion from other guest.
We love Park Avenue Grill!

"Ambiance was fine and initially service was prompt. However, a party of 12 was seated next to our party of 4 just as we finished our cocktails. From then on we were an afterthought while the larger party received virtually all of the limited staff's attention. Had a problem with getting the creamy horseradish we requested and the table lacked full place settings.
Well into the meal, the restaurant manager visited our table and inquired if we were doing OK, I informed him of the problem with the condiment and pointed out that only 3 of us had been provided bread plates. The horseradish sauce arrived about 10 minutes later - the bread plates never did materialize.
Overall, not a good value based on our single (and last) visit."

"The waitress was wonderful and made our experience special.
The salad bar was outstanding. The soup was good but the only thing good about the main dish station was the grilled asparagus. The corn was hard and dry, the pork was extremely tough. I did not take a piece off the top because it looked dry. I got a piece that had been sitting in the broth and it was still tough. I did not try the chicken but one person said it was good and the another said it was dry and tough also."

"Great food and atmosphere. Absolutely love Edgar Cruz. Rated Noise level at Moderate but would not refer to Edgar as "noise" at all. His setup is "moderate" since diners are able to select closeness to performer. I always appreciate the Skirvin placing my party near Edgar upon my request since we are such fans."

"We went here for my husbands Birthday dinner and we were VERY disappointed. We started off with the Calamari and it was so chewy we had to send it back. We got the grilled and chilled shrimp and it was the best part of our meal. My steak was ok (save $20 on the steak and go to Texas Roadhouse)I got grilled asparagus and it was burnt and dried out and the truffle oil fries should have been called parmeasean fries because that is all I tasted on them. My husband got some chicken dish and did not complain, but we will NOT be going back here for $100 dinner it was a terrible experience. I asked for a romantic table and had a family with 3 kids seated next to us after we were seated and there were plenty of other places they could have sat."

"The Park Avenue Grill exceeded our expectations in every way. Upon arrival, the free valet parking was very convenient. Our hostess was personable, professional and knowledgeable. The manager greeted me and gave me the opportunity to verify the logo that he added to our menus was correct. It was perfect and a pleasant surprise. The menu provided a breadth of variety and the wine list was full of options that complimented the menu. Service was excellent, food was excellent and appropriately priced for the generous portions. Dessert menu also delightful. Overall the evening was perfect for our party of six."

"Went to celebrate our anniversary on Valentines Day. and got five course special. Appetizer plain and unimpressive, second course over cooked, third course cold ( should have been hot), main course was bland. Only good thing was dessert. Manager came out and asked our opinion of meal. I voiced our concerns and he acknowledged second and third courses were not prepared/served properly, but did not apologize! Terrible meal for $75. Will never be back and will discourage all I know from going here."

The appearance of the waiters did not ad to the ambiance. There was one young african american male waiter that looked very nicely dressed and smiled friendly. There were two hostes that did not look the look I expected from your place. They were not extra friendly or inviting. Call me crazy but I expected that...
I am sure that you are aware of your reputation of being a high class place... your personel does not reflect that in my opinion. Good food // very nice touch for the chef to bring out the brunch menu items."

"I went here for my birthday with my family for brunch. We had a great table. It was a bit loud due to the sax player. But it was fun to hear him play. We got a great deal that was $25 and you got unlimited drinks (mimosa, peach belinis etc) an appetizer and unlimited favorites as an entree, such as steak and eggs, salmon sandwich... so much more. The only thing I didnt like was the Shrimp and bacon grits... Our waitor was pretty good. Seemed really busy. He was manning most tables so our drinks did go empty a few times but over all it was great. It was $135 for 5 people. and thats like 3 drinks each, kobe steak for 3 people, chicken and waffles, salmon sandwiches, so much food for such a great price. Its beautiful there as well!!! MUST GO!"

"Went for Valentines Day and although the dining room is nice and the service very good, the food was OK. My main course, the Scottish Salmon was very good, however my wife had pork loin, which was just OK and not worth the cost."

Menu claimed sides were Big enough to share, i got 6 asparagus. To share. Not impressed. Wouldn't go back. Oh, also the bread was Boring and tasteless."

"We had a party of 10. The service, food and selection on the buffet were outstanding. The desserts were phenomenol and I think we all over-indulged. We are repeat customers and will be back. We have been here before to celebrate special events and meet customers and have not been disappointed!"

"Dined with friends prior to the Classics Concert. I had the BLT salad with jalapeno ranch dressing, thick cut maple flavored bacon, and amazing tomatoes. Those tomatoes (they told me they got them from California) were absolutely great - thick, red, juicy with real vine ripened flavor. Others in the group had the burger, asian soup, and caesar salad - good comments all around. For dessert, we tried the carrot cake (with candied carrots and carrot sauce) which was very moist and tasty, the creme brulee - so good, and the coffee ice cream - the best. Our waitperson shared that all the desserts were made on site. The parking has kept me away in the past, but I am so over that. Expect a return visit from us."

"We went for Restaurant Week and ordered from the Prix Fixe menu. We were there on Saturday at 630 pm,and the Oysters Rockefeller appetizer choice was sold out, and there was no substitute. The fact that the butternut carpacio was delicious made up for it. The tuna and steak entrees were good, but the steak was not tenderloin as the waitperson kept calling it. The strawberry lime dessert was a good idea, but the gelato was melting quickly, and the strawberries were unflavorably out-of-season. We appreciated the effort and thought that went into planning the menu, but the execution was not quite there. We would return. We are unclear on where the Restaurant Week fundraising money comes from. Hope we made a contribution to a worthy cause."

"Dined there during downtown restaurant week promotion. I was very impressed with creativity of menu and preparation of food. Everything was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable about the food and preparation; she was excellent at her job: there when she needed to be and absent when we didn't need her. The ambience was the high point - very conducive to table talk, very classy interior with lots of historical pictures on the wall. Really glad we went there!!"
