"Overall I give this a fair rating mostly because of the food. We recently went to the Rocky River Grille to have Mother's Day Brunch. The selection of food was mostly unappealing and not much variety. The ambience was good and so was the service. But, the food is the main attraction and with that I can't recommend nor will we be return."

"I would not recommend Rocky River Grille at all for the Mother's Day Brunch. It was extremely loud and not at all what we had thought. We've dined at the Grille several times and love the food and atmosphere. As a mom, I was really looking forward to the quaint atmosphere that you usually find at Rocky River. That was not the case. The Mother's Day Brunch was a terriible experience. A DJ was playing very loud music that should've been in a bar not during a mother's brunch. We were seated in a banquet room which was not at all what we had pictured. It would've been nicer and quieter at a chain restaraunt. We will definitely not be back for something like this again."

"The area where we ate had a high faux-rock wall to separate us from the bar area and hotel foot-traffic. It also blocked the view they claim to have of the golf course. (You'd never know you were looking at a golf corse if they didn't say so.) That being said, my chicken salad pita was very good. "Chicken salad" was chunks of grilled chicken, shredded cheese, bacon, tomato, and ranch dressing. My husband's flatbread cheese pizza and the complimentary chips and ranch dip were just okay. I was a bit surprised by the menu because it seems like maybe they try a little too hard to take familiar items and make them different--for example, the chowder, in addition to clams, includes prime rib--not something I would've ever expected in a chowder."

"The resturant was excellent, I have traveled quite a bit and have always found restaurants to be wanting in hotels, unless they were hiltons or hyatts, This one is a gem, with excellent service, our waitress ""NIKKI"" was the BEST!!!! I would highly recommend you try this one out.."

"Good food with reasonable selection and large portions. Open design creates noise issues, but they are tolerable. Large groups arrived soon after us, so the kitchen got slammed, but our waiter kept us informed of the progress. Good place for good food at reasonable price."

The food and service were much better than expected. Definitely recommend visiting here if you are in the area.

"This was my first time, but me and my wife were very happy with our lunch as well as dinner. The food was great, service was outstanding. The noise at dinner was kind of loud from a group next to our table. Overall we look forward to making this a place will definitely will be coming back more than once."

"There was no parking. We had to use a Hertz spot in order to go to dinner. It took them over 5 minutes to seat us despite the fact we had a reservation and there were multiple open tables. It took over an hour to get our entrees. The waiter informed me that they lost my sauce, you read that correctly lost. The waiter was very apologetic, but nothing was done to encourage our return or atone for the bad experience."

"This is one of my favorite places to eat close to home. The food is always good and it was this time as well. Still disappointing visist which is very unusal. Specifically requested a booth and they did not honor that although it was evident that they were not busy and could have done so. The service was terriblely slow. When the servers were at the table they were friendly and helpful but they would disappear for very long peroids of time, which left us waiting long peroids of time between courses."

"I booked this reservation as an early Valentine's celebration. We were promptly seated and were pleased with the dark, romantic atmosphere. They did seem somewhat overwhelmed at the crowd caused by Restaurant Week and the service was somewhat slow. Once the goof arrived, it was well worth the wait!"

"The Amuse was great. The salad was fresh, crispy and delightful. The bread was wonderful. The entrees were good, but barely warm. They would have been much better if they had been HOT When they arrived at the table. The dessert was to die for. The coffee was good and steamy HOT. The service was good. "I was looking forward to dining at Rocky River Grille. However, after arriving, I was quickly disappointed. The dining area was taped off for some sort of maintenance. We were given a table near the "bar". I'm not sure if this is where the typical brunch is served or not, but it was if were sitting in a very busy hallway. People were rushing past our table with suitcases, etc. Our waitress needed to side-step the people traffic on more than one occasion, when delivery food and drinks to our table. It was very noisy, cold and uninviting."

"This restaurant is inside the Embassy hoyel in Concord that has a very open set up, which includes the restaurant, its a very pleasing space. The food was very good. We did the $30 menu that included the wine, which was just decent, the 'amuse' was tiny but good, literally one bite. My creamy chicken soup delicious, my husband salad fresh, my prime rib cooked to order, so tender and tasty, my husband's trout well presented amd tasty. The desserts were not so good, my res velvet cupcake dry, my husband's flourless chocolate cake way dry, far too intense, like mixing cocoa powder and s bit of butter.
The service was right on point and friendly.
Very good experience overall, will be back."
