"Absolutely wonderful experience. Greg has been or server twice and has done a fantastic job attending to our every wish. The brunch on Easter and on Mother's Day was outstanding. Easter egg hunt for the kids and roses for the mom's. My champagne glass was never empty and my husband loved the shrimp and crab legs. I was very fond of the short ribs and delicious array of salads. We will be back again and again!"

"We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food! Terrific menu. Great view of Saddleback mountain. Nice to have a smooth jazz musician playing the keyboard and sax. Definitely would highly recommend O'Neill's to others. We also heard that their Sunday brunch is terrific. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Loved the new menu! tried four new items, and they were all equally as fabulous! SAt on the side patio in front of the fireplace, this will b e my new favorite spot! Armando was our ACE of a server and was totally busy, so had a nice backup fellow to help!

"I have been to O'Neils before with friends for Happy Hour, but this was my first time for dinner. Two family members and I went for dinner on a Saturday evening and were seated inside at our request. The view of the golf course and canyon is wonderful. The live music in the adjacent bar increased the noise level. Service was too slow and it was difficult to get the attention of our server. The food was quite good, however. We loved that entrees were offered as a full or half-order, since we are light eaters. I wish all restaurants would do the same. The pork loin and filet medallion entrees were delicious, as was the spinach salad which was big enough for the three of us to share. Loved the pineapple upside-down cake."

"We tried O'Neill's again, since they changed their menu. (We preferred the menu from several years ago.) It looked promising, as they have several vegetable sides & small plates. The butternut squash soup was pretty good, but quite salty. The farro was great with just the mint, omitting the curry vinaigrette & feta. The cauliflower & potato gratin was a joke -- just a cake of thickly sliced potato, with barely a bit of cauliflower, & extremely salty. My husband did not enjoy his ribs, & said the corn bread was served just plain & his cole slaw was tiny; he had ordered the larger entree portion. It's a beautiful setting, but the food is very disappointing, & the chairs are uncomfortable."

"We were there on St. Patrick's day. Not sure if they were overwhelmed as this was our first time and we don't know what the usual crowd is like. The service was VERY slow. I was never brought the limes I asked for in my water, even though the waiter mentioned he was going to the bar to get them when he brought my water. He was unfamiliar with the menu and what was served with what. My husband loved his corned beef and cabbage but my corned beef tacos were just ok. We likely won't go back as there are just too many places around with really good food and service."

"While we rated the service as Very Good rather thane Excellent, it was because they wereVERY busy when we arrived and it took a bit longer to get our meals. Once we were served, everything got better. The food was a foodies's delight, our server was very attentive and the surroundings were a "relaxed elegant". We will return!"

"We've been to O'Neills many times for brunch and its always a hit or miss for us. Some days, the food is exceptional as is the service. Other times, well, not so much. We were there this last Sunday and the food choices was ok. There was this chicken rice dish that was sooooo dry and the breakfast potatoes were mushy. The short ribs and mushroom ravioli's were yummy...Its still one of the better brunches around without over-spending. If you sit inside, its on the loud side. Outside is much nicer and you can't beat the view."

"This was a wonderful experience. The food was very good and offered a variety of dishes that are not the typical brunch menu along with the standard fare. The view was very nice and I look forward to eating on the patio once the weather warms a bit. Our waiter was very attentive and the bus staff kept the table serviced without hovering.
