"We were a group of 9 ladies in town for a fun-filled ladies weekend dining on Thursday June 6. The buy one get one half off appetizer as well as the drink specials were the deciding factor in our dining choice for the evening. When informed those were "in the bar specials" only, as we dined we continued to get our drinks from the bar and then were reprimanded before we left that we "were not to do that again". Don't worry, we won't be returning to your restaurant to do that again. We could talk about nothing else when we discussed our weekend's kickoff dinner besides the very bad service we received. Not only will we not be returning, we will not tell any of our friends to go there and will share our feelings of belittling when asked."

"Service was slow and somewhat chaotic on a Saturday evening even though the restaurant was not full. We took advantage of the "8-ounce pour" of wine by the glass. The pour was probably closer to 6 ounces. The food was good but, at these prices, one might expect a little better.
If you are in the neighborhood and making last minute dinner plans, it would be okay. But I would not go out of my way."

"This was a birthday event and the birthday girl was looking forward to a menu item specifically at this restaurant. We had a fairly early reservation at 6:30pm. The item was sold out. I ordered the steak. It was tough and I took it home so I could give it to my dog. Did not want the scene of sending it back on her birthday."

"We have been to Ya Ya's many times for dinner. It's always a wonderful experience and the food is amazing. This was our first time for brunch and we weren't disappointed! Everything from the buffet to the mimosas was just perfect! Highly recommend Ya Ya's for dinner and brunch!"

"Ordered a glass of wine to start which was proclaimed on the menu to be 1/3 of a bottle (8 oz). It was nowhere near, less than 5 ounces and when asked about discrepancy were told management told them to pour that amount.
Appetizer of calamari was served and nicely prepared. Ordered cobb salads for dinner but they were brought without the chicken breast. When we inquired we were told that did not come on a cobb salad. When we asked to see the menu, the waiter returned and confirmed there should be grilled chicken. It seems odd that the dishes were ready to be sent to us incomplete. Perhaps the plates are available to wait staff before finished.
Talk with manager was not helpful.
Thought maybe we were on candid camera."

"I have been to Yia Yia's several years ago, and I wanted to take my boyfriend there for a nice dinner. I was looking forward to the evening, and I was quite disappointed. Our main entrees showed up before the salads. In fact, since this happened we asked that the salad not even be added to the bill. The bread came to the table when we were halfway done eating. I have always been impressed in the past by their service, but it wasn't up to par."

"We had a great evening. We were taking our neighbors out for dinner and we ended up running into some people who had moved out of the neighborhood, and we hadn't seen them in a while. They all joined us and we caught up on news about our kids and anything else we could think of. It was wonderful. And the wine and dinner were great. Our waiter could have been a little quicker, but he was very pleasant. We always enjoy our experience at Ya Ya's."

"It is very interesting experience but price and quality of the food is not in match. They need to improve that. Overall experience I will compare it more like very expensive Chilies' or Applebee's :)"

"Ya Ya's is an outstanding place for lunch, brunch, or dinner! The healthy portions of a split sandwich/salad or soup is great for lunch. One of my special favorites is the salmon salad--delectable! The beef tenderloin sandwich is outstanding as well. They offer great specials nightly as well. They have wine dinners occasionally and special occasion brunches. Their weekly brunch is very satifactory, with salads, pizza, pita, hummus, all the usual hot breakfast food, omelette station, and desserts. Speaking of desserts, OMG, order the souffle when you order your entree. It takes, like, half an hour to bake, and it is well worth it!"

"This brunch has everything! I have been two weekends in a row. The wait staff is very courteous and love the unlimited Bloody Mary bar. I had an omelet made at the omelet station both weekends and they don't cook it long enough. Minor complaint."

"I had not been to Ya Ya's for a couple of years, but I went back yesterday the memories came back. Lunch is much too expensive for the entree itself. I ordered a steak salad. I received 2 meager slices of filet over lettuce and quinoa for $15. When I order a steak salad anywhere else, I receive at least 6 large slices of beef.
The service this time, however, was the best ever."

"Enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner with my husband. The food and service were both excellent. We both ordered the filet and salads with a bottle of wine, and finished off with the molten chocolate cake. I noticed on the menu that several items were marked "gluten free," which I was very happy to see. It's very difficult to find good restaurants with gluten free selections, so I wanted to note that. By the way, the cake was gluten-free!"

"We had a wonderful dinner and the service was nothing short of outstanding, friendly and we were unhurried. We ordered calamari and mussels as appetizers and as usual they brought some wonderful bread and a delicious spread to go with as well. The apps were properly cooked and vey pleasing to the palate. We did opt for salads for our entrees and the cobb and salmon were ordered. Again both generous and properly prepared. The salmon was perfect and I'd surely order it again as the piece of fish was happily larger than I expected. We did split a piece of pecan pie for dessert and unsurprisingly, wonderful as well. Highly recommended."

"We went for Sunday brunch and took our 2 and 3 year d children. There was excellent variety, so the kids could have eggs and fruit and pancakes while the adults partook of more sophisticated fare. The ambiance was appealing, spacious and bright on a Sunday morning. The service was helpful without being cloying. We were not charged for the children, which was a welcome courtesy. We will definitely return for Sunday brunch again and probably for dinner as well."

"Salmon on salad was very dry. Soup was outrageously priced. Ordered soup and salad and as charged $5 premium for soup and wasn't told agead of time. In daylight (I went for lunch), chairs were all scratched and looked very old...not impressive upkeep with fixtures. Disappointing visit frankly. I have enjoyed dinner at Ya-Ya's for years but feel like it going down hill."
