"The reviews said pewter mug was the best prime rib in Naples and after eating there,we have to agree. The prime rib is cooked to perfection ( rare really is perfectly rare) and the 12 oz cut was a good one inch thick. The salad bar was very fresh and the soups were pretty good. Entrees included soup and salad bar. The wine list was decent and included wines from the $20's to a $100 Duckhorn. Great value as the prices were reasonable."

"Brought back the memories of steakhouses in the 60's and 70's, during their peak throughout the US. Good solid food, served hot and presented nicely, in a clean and moderately quiet room. What more could ask for? No complaints. Everything was very good and the price was reasonable for the items selected off the menu."

"Really great lobster tail and prime rib. The soup and salad bar was good too. A little pricey for a casual place, but it's a nice place to take the kids. Almost Capital Grille prices ($50 for a 20oz piece of prime rib), but it's not like I'm going to take my three kids to Capital Grille unless I'm feeling really daring. At least it includes soup, salad, and a side for that price. Good, attentive service as well. Overall I'd highly recommend it, and there are less expensive menu options (~$20-25) available too, although we didn't try them. I'd probably give it 5 stars if the prime rib was priced appropriately for the venue."

"We made a reservation for Mother's Day and when we arrived, we were seated immediately. Drinks ordered and came right away. We were thrilled with the soup and salad bar....best we have had. Salads were very fresh and soups hot and tasty. We all ordered the 8 0z Prime Rib. It was very tender and came as ordered. The Pewter Mug was the favorite restaurant of our parents years ago and will now be a favorite of ours. We are so glad it is still in North Naples!"

"The menu needs updating for those that are not so heavy into carbohydrates, the salad bar is good but need work on its presentation as it looks institutional.This is a place for the old people and will not attract younger people or the next generation or those interested in quality healthier food.Prices are relatively high compared to chain casual dining equivalents. The ambiance is very dated and should be updated. Lastly parking is difficult and there is no valet parking for the handicapped."

"I had the prime rib, and it was delicious! It was served with au jus as well as a wonderful creamy horseradish sauce. It came with your choice of potato and the soup & salad bar. "The Pewter Mug is always excellent with the best salad,vegetable & soup bar in the county. Our favorites are their great steaks & prime rib beaf as well as a wonderfull "Fish & Chips" with large fillets of Cod, perfectly cooked with just a light bear batter coating. We eat there several times a month and are always treated very well."

"I have to write this review because we are full time residents and the night we went was filled with tourists. I can't believe the staff did such an excellent job under huge pressure. There were at least 30 people waiting and every table filled and the staff serviced you like there were only a couple of tables.
Hat's off to great food and service under pressure. Not very easy to do."

"I ordered a rare steak. It was more medium rare, a bit charred and on the dry side except for the very center. The noise volume may have accounted for my husband getting a completely different item than he wanted. Empty drink glasses weren't picked up and this wasn't just true for us. The people next to us thought we had left when we went to the salad bar and they put their empties on our table, which they removed, but not any waitstaff."
