The Grill From Ipanema in Seattle is all about Rodízio, a popular Brazilian style of enjoying dinner among friends and a truly unique dining experience. Rodízio offers a wide variety of different cuts of grilled meats slowly roasted in specially designed charcoal grills. "The service is very good, at first seemed slow to get out the rodizio. However, once they got going were good at bring you what you wanted and coordinating with others. The food was good and a lot of meat, but at the price you are going to stuff yourself with meat. The view is great."

"Enjoyed a nice lunch at the Grill From Ipanema, seated promptly with reservation, friendly and helpful wait staff, nice variety on salad bar. Inconsistent service with the Brazilian barbeque, servers tended to focus on a small number of tables on one side of the room and did not get around with all the various offerings on skewers to all the tables. We were not able to sample about a third of what was served to the select few booths. Asking the waitress to assist with having some of the items brought to the floor tables helped a little. Still enjoyable meal although it would have been nice to sample more of what was cooked."

"The food is great. The salad bar is very good and has a lot of things. We ordered the Rodizio style, which is when they bring you different kind of meats. They were very slow coming around, and the pieces they gave you were so tiny that you could eat them in just two bites... and they you waited until the next server came around. And when we asked them to come, they responded in a rude matter. I would recommend it to some who likes good food, but can put up with bad customer service."

"Everything was delicious. Service was friendly and timely - only wish our stomachs could have held more. Atmosphere is very pleasant - family friendly, but still nice enough to make the occasion feel special. With the variety offered, everyone is sure to find something irresistible."

"I was very satisfied with the service and food from the Grill from Ipanema. I was in town on business and wanted a good meal and happened across this restaurant and had a great meal with excellent service. I had a window seat with a view of the Puget Sound. Very nice. "We spent our Mother's Day here for a fun, different experience and it did not disappoint. The cuts of meat were delicious (we ordered the rodizio, the traditional Brazilian buffet) and we were pleasantly stuffed. My favorite, though, was the sweetened pineapple -- what a yummy surprise! The salad bar also offered tasty gems, especially the potato salad."

"Was impressed by the quailty of food. I'm in the restaurant business and read the reviews on yelp that when you are there for awhile that the employees ignore you by not bringing you any more meat to try out,or for anything else.Those reviews are true,I know all you can eat means all you can eat,but i didn't really eat that much to warrant the restaurant wanting me to leave,since there wasn't anyone else that was waiting."

"Overall, a good experience and something fun and new for the kids. The salad bar had a decent variety of fresh vegetables and other items. It was nice to be able to get hot potatoes or rice and not have to order it as a side dish. The meats were adequate, but they did not have the variety that you would see in Brazil. "$40 is great for all you can eat - if you have 3 hours to spare. The trick is not to get full at the (delcious) salad bar while waiting for shavings of meat to come around. I would like to see larger/more frequent portions of meat. Great service!!"

"I would get rid of the lunchroom-esque bench seating immediately. The meat was all amazing, drinks were adequate. A wine selection would be really nice. "the food was horrible. meat had no taste and not a good selection at salad bar. the food selection was not authentic and seemed like i could get it anywhere at any buffet. when asked for hotsauce, i was given "el tapatio." the hostess was very nice but the host and the seater was very rude. the first person that helped wait for our table seemed irritated that i asked if the bottle of liquid was liquor or water because it said "brazilian rum" on the outside and we had kids. i guess i should have put it to my nose and sniffed it instead?! however; the hostess at the end and the second waiter we had were really nice and helpful though, although she did charge me for an adult price even though i said child! overpriced definitely!"

"I really like the atmosphere. The lighting was perfect and we had a wonderful view of the water. The salad bar was good. This restaurant had a good variety of meats. I loved the grilled pineapple, shrimps and fried bananas. The only thing that I was displeased with was our waitress. She didn't check on us to see if we needed anything. We were always calling her for something. Also she had a bad attitude at the end when we wanted her to split the tab. She never asked if we were all on one tab and therefore she should’ve assumed that we were. I don’t care how much I love the food if the service is bad I wouldn’t come back or recommend this place."

"Love the different selections of meet. All of the known cuts of beef, some chicken and turkey and then wild boar and buffalo was also offered. On the day we were there, (13) different selections were on the menu. My very favorite was the BBQ pinapple, as it just melted in my mouth. I have lived in Seattle all my life with the exception of being an exchange student in Brasil for 6+ months when I was younger. My Brazillian "family" had a farm so we had BBQ every Sunday with the extended family. It was a treat to have a similar experience in Seattle last week. I would highly recommend this restaraunt. Especially for a special occasion as it is a bit expensive, but well worth it in my opinion."

"Great experience for Anniversary dinner. From the front greeting to the exit goodbye, service was welcoming and friendly.
Salad bar has a great selection with various ingredients from greens to fruits.
Rodizio dinner was delicious and prompt.
Pave dessert is right up there with Crème Brûlée."

"We enjoyed our visit from start to finish. We had made a reservation about a half an hour earlier and, in my opinion, got the best table in the restaurant. The view of the water and the passing boats was stunning. The servers were very friendly and they came with new meats often. As my boyfriend is Brazilian, we always have high expectations of this type of restaurant. They definitely didn't disappoint. The Pao de Queso wasn't as good as my homemade, but it was nice.
I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you're in town!"

"The place was wonderful. The staff was very nice !! The hostess was not friendly at all. It put us off but after getting our table it was wonderful. HUGE salad bar !!! It was so big that you were overwhelmed by the choices, This is a meat lovers paradise. I will go back !!"

"We had dined at Ipanema at the old location and were dissapointed when it was closed. Quite excited when we learned it was open again in your new spot. Our dinner on 30 March 2013 @ 2000 hours was superb. The staff went out of thier way to ensure our evening was remarkable. The food was tremendous (as always). The price for the meal was quite fair. Alberto (Bar Manager) was a delight to visit with. Very happy he has been retained at your fine establishment. The view is impressive, especially at night when the Ferry is going by. All in all, the experience was fantastic and we will difinately be coming back."

"Great rodizio fun for all the family - the picanha was particularly tasty! The salad bar was full of different options for all tastes and there were 17 choices of rodizio - including delicious roasted pineapple and shrimp. The garlic steak and cheese steak were also lovely. The kids loved it and the service was excellent. I would go again for a fun night out with the family!"
