The Wine Bar is the outcome of a desire and commitment to create an environment in which people can share a casual evening with friends enhanced by fine wines and superior quality food in a comfortable atmosphere. The wine list, created by sommelier and owner Melissa Evans, is a representation of grape varietals, which excel in each wine producing region. The wine list changes frequently and showcases many esoteric and family-owned wineries. Our menu is a selection of small plates, entrees, fine cheeses and home-made desserts. We use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients including organic and free-range meats. It is our hope that you choose several items and enjoy the experience of different flavors while sipping one wine or several “tastes” of wines.

"very little selection of premium wines by the bottle or glass. service was unorganized and the kitchen is slow, had to wait 45 minutes for an appy !! everyone running around trying to help and nothing getting done. the food was good however it did little to appease the mediocre service !!"

"The Wine Bar is Saratoga Springs' best kept secret. The food was delicious and so well prepared, and the wine list was thorough and offered a variety of quality selections. The atmosphere works for any occasion. A celebratory dinner or romantic date? The Wine Bar is the place to go. Or would if you're simply looking to enjoy a class of wine or a cigar with your scotch, there's a place for you at the Wine Bar as well. Most people are thrown off by the name - why would we go there for the food? But don't be fooled, the Wine Bar serves wonderful dishes that compliment their wine list."

"We went from seven to five people and they still sat us within minutes. We ordered a couple of appetizers for the table and then a few small and large plates and no one went hungry. Everything was great, especially the scallop special and the tagliatelle on the menu."

"The Wine Bar is becoming one of my favorite Saratoga restaurants. We have been there twice in the last few weeks. Menu is very limited, but they always offer one or two specials. Most entrees are offered in full or small plate sizes - love the small plates. If hungry, consider getting two different small plates. The service is spectacular - very friendly and attentive wait staff. If you are very sensitive to smoke, the separate smoking room may leak too much for you."

"Every time we go up to Saratoga Springs, we make sure we get a reservation for the Wine Bar. We stumbled upon this restaurant 6 years ago and have not been disappointed any time we go there. The servers are very knowledgable about the wines and the option of trying flights allows us to try new wines throughout the dinner. Their food is just fabulous! We had the small plate of lamb chops, and I wished we had ordered the large plate. We would have but we ordered other small plates and were stuffed. When we were there last week, we asked the server about the sizes of the small plates and she mentioned that we might want to get salads and one small plate each. I appreciated her honesty and not trying to increase the bill.We plan to return soon"

"One of the reasons we go to Saratoga Springs is to go to the Wine Bar. We love it there. Every time we go up to the spa we make sure we have a reservation for the Wine Bar. There food is fabulous and the wine flights are a great way to try different wines. The servers are very knowledgable about the wines and extremely friendly.
