"I ordered the shrimp florentine and the shrimp were disappointing, a slimy coating on them just wasn't good.
Really like the option of half portions. Great menu.
Last time we were there I had a big salad which was good."

"The main dish meals are very good. Our group feels the entrees need to have a small pasta portion with them. The salads are reasonably priced to add on. I like that you can have half portions. Iordered asparagus as a side and had to return it. Very mushy and tasteless. The staff replaced it with side of pasta and manager came out to address the complaint. The tiramisu is excellent!!"

"Using the OpenTable reservations feature made the evening get off to a good start. The menu had many selections allowing you to choose anywhere from soup and salad to steak and seafood. Another plus are that half portions are available. The food was very good as was the service.
The prices are reasonable. My wife and I had a very nice time and we plan on returning soon."

"Even tho the staff was eager to please, the food was average and the overall experience unfortunately mundane. A little too rushed and ordinary to be considered fine dining.
Wine list could use some originality, rather than offering bottles often seen on supermarket shelves.
Bruschetta was on the cold side, yet tasty. The shrimp scampi rather bland. Higher marks for the ravioli (tho meat in the bolognese was overcooked) and the tiramisu, which almost rescued the evening.
Piccolo's has possibilities, a much-needed spot in a dining wasteland, but right now there are kinks to be worked out."

"We are originally from the NY/NJ metropolitan area, and it has been difficult to find a good Italian restaurant in the lake area. We love Italian food, and we found the food here to be authentic and delicious. The shell fish, especially the clams and mussels, in white wine sauce, were wonderful! We enjoyed the chicken and shrimp piccata, and the veal marsala was also very good. The fried calamari was delicately breaded, and crispy, but not "chewy". The veal parm. was also very tender and tastey, although the marinara sauce was a bit "pastey" tasting, but still good. This is our third time dinning here, and we have not been disappointed. We will be back, for sure!"
