Brooks' Bar & Deck at Edgewood Tahoe is taking reservations for a limited number of tables. A majority of tables are held for walk in guests.
Golf Digest selected Brooks' as one of the "Best 19th Holes in America", Brooks' has taken its place as a premier post-play watering hole. Offering great food and an amazing atmosphere to enjoy with friends, Brooks' has become one of South Lake Tahoe's best restaurants that everyone can enjoy.
With the Sierras in the distance, guests can relax on Brooks' expansive deck and take in the postcard-like views of the golf course and Lake Tahoe. Located off Edgewood Tahoe's picturesque 18th hole, this is home of one of the greatest sunsets of the world.
Within, Brooks' feels very much like a sports bar: vaulted ceilings, glass windows, a handsome wooden build. The architecture belies the comfortable feel and attitude. Flatscreen TVs are tuned into the game of the day, the bar features a number of quality local brews.
"We had a very tasty meal. Pork pops, firecracker salad and Fresh Breeze salad. Our server was friendly and efficient. Only drawback was the arugula in the Fresh Breeze salad was not optimum showing some decay and would prefer the added salmon to be in one filet piece instead of strips. Otherwise a very nice experience. We would return."

Combine a great menu with excellent food and you have a real find in Tahoe...add the outstanding view of the lake and golf course, fire pit, and most of all the staff that makes you feel like a friend, and you can't beat the total experience!"

"Great find, casual but in an elegant atmosphere. It is the bar area at Edgewood golf course. Plenty of tables looking out onto the course or lake. Good service, food was delicious. We started with the calamari and ordered the prime rib special and the fish tacos. Delicious. The prime rib special was $25 and included wine or beer. We will definitely be back!"

"The room couldn't be more beautiful - the soaring ceiling, the views, the incredibly comfortable seating. Service was good but not great: the servers were friendly, but didn't check back other than right after food was delivered, so my husband never got his much desired second beer. The sliders and turkey club were great, but the tacos were a complete rip off - a tiny, pinkie sized bit of fish (in a tiny double tortilla)on a bunch of chips. At best, less than an ounce of fish in each. And this was an entree, not an app. But completely lacking in substance unless you really just wanted a basket of chips for $14. And odd given the enormous salads and super thick sandwiches. Bummed and hungry afterwards."
