We are a Raw Bar &Grill featuring fresh, mouth-watering cuisine with a Latin twist. Come and enjoy our daily brunch with unlimited mimosas on our beautiful veranda or in the dining room. For dinner, we offer freshly prepared seafood dishes, delicious buffalo sweet & sour pork wings or lamb sliders, as an example of what's on our menu. We are located in the Sense Beach House hotel on South Beach.

"Ceviche had cumin or some flavor that didn't seem to go well with ceviche; keep it simple. For a new spot the prices are too high for what it is, the shrimp came to bout $5 each. The inexpensive wines were too expensive, most restaurants this place seems comparable to have several good choices under $35. If it wants to cater to locals they need to drop prices for sure."

"Because this restaurant is so close to Nikki Beach&the exclusive Prime 112 it's a shame this restaurant's service isn't impeccable. They could capitalize from the turned away business. When we walked up the Manager on Duty was speaking to a server in the doorway, which blocked us from entering. There was no "official host stand" so it was a mystery as to where to check-in or where their OpenTable reservation terminal was even located. We waited until they were done with their conversation only to be ignored. I proceeded to the bar area to ask whom we should speak to about seating us. Not a good start. We saw the manager snap at the party across from us when they asked for 1 additional chair. Food was excellent, service was terrible."

"We're from Miami and started our annual "hooky day" at The Local House for breakfast and drinks before heading to the beach on a beautiful day. Sat outside and had attentive service from the bartender. We each had different benedicts from their short but enticing breakfast menu and were very happy with the food. The only issue we had was the bartender's heavy-hand on the tabasco in my wife's Bloody Mary which he offered to remedy. We came back after a few hours on the beach for more drinks on the patio. I'll be back for dinner this week with a group from work."

"My family and I just stumbled on this small South Beach gem, and we had an amazing experience. Our server was friendly and knowledgable, the food (mostly seafood) was phenomenal. It's a little pricey, but so is everything else in Miami. I had a mojito--it was so strong but it tasted good...what a real mojito SHOULD taste like. Set aside about 2+ hours if you're going to eat here though. They pace things out so you can really enjoy yourself."

"Everything we ate was fresh but was a little bland but the calamari was salty. The pasta dishes were good but for the price, not spectacular. The website is also not updated with the prices that are actually on the menu. Every was 3-5$ more expensive than on the website. Had I known what the prices were actually going to be we might have chosen somewhere else.
Over all The Local House is good but definitely not great."
