"The food on the website looked completely different. But so much so! What we got in the restaurant looked as if someone just threw it on the plate. Bar vibe was decent. Too many finance people during happy hour. Waiters wore THE worst uniforms on the planet. This place wasn't oozing sophistication. Too bad because I really wanted it to be a regular place for me."

"Wow. The place is beautiful, and the food is absolute perfection. We absolutely loved the calamari salad and the ceviche is the best we have ever had. The spinach mushroom salad is addicting. And the prime rib special was superb. There is so much to love about this place. It was one of the best meals I have ever had, and I eat out nearly every night in NYC!"

"I was really excited to eat at Harlow, made my reservation in a month in advance and could only get a 10 pm reservation. Fine. I called 3 times, 2 days before and the day of the reservation to see if we could change it to 9 or 9:30 but they said they were completely booked. Fine. We walked in about 9:45 were seated immediately and noticed all the empty 2 person tables. I'm SURE they could have given us an earlier reservation. The service was good, the food was good, nothing amazing. Over rated and over priced. The restaurant is beautiful but I wouldn't go back. So disappointed!!"

"We were hesitant to dine at Harlow during the first couple days of opening. However, because it was being opened by the guy behind Nobu and Studio 54, we felt confident that it would be good. It was very disappointing. The food was average at best. We waited an exceptionally long time for our wine to be brought out after speaking with the sommelier. In fact, several courses had already been served by the time our wine was brought to the table. We were told that it wasn't cold enough. When we complained, we barely got an apology. A drink on the house while we waited would seem like an appropriate response--especially for a brand new restaurant--hoping to attract return customers. We will not be back."
