"If you are looking for a casual, fun place to go with a great water view (which oddly Tampa has very few off) then this is the place to go. Do not go here for a special, family occasion. The food is just average and the service is very slow. Again...for fun and to eat outside, Hogan's Beach is perfect."

"First of all the parking was hard to find. There was a large sign that said parking and then they were full. We wanted valet and disability parking. And we had 2 other couples joining us, so you lost 6 people for the future. Sent us 2 blocks to find out we would have to walk. Luckily, very bright guy told us to go to valet for the hotel and then there was a guy to help us. Best Western service was great, but very disappointed in the terrible food. High price (which would have been ok if the food was good). Small portions. Restaurant was not very busy, but the outside on the beach was packed for swimming and drinking."

"This could be a great restaurant, but the management needs to shape up. The service is slow, but not the fault of servers. It seems like the managers have many of servers working the whole restaurant rather than one section. Our waitress was working in the main dining area as well as the outside dining area. Kitchen obviously is very slow with the orders as well. This is the second time we have been at Hogan's and the service has not gotten better. Our steak were adequate, but lacking favor. The rest of the food was very good. We had the crab cake and it was very good. I would go back again, but hopefully Hulk Hogan will address the management and service situation to make his restaurant better."

"The food was great, the server Landry was very attentive and helpful. It was JUST too loud there to have a conversation, it really would have been nice to speak to the people we were at dinner with and we were almost as far away from the stage as we could be.
The valet attendants went to get my Mother in Laws car and then left it almost in the road with the door open and keys in it, which was NOT OKAY. If you guys are going to make someone speak to valet to park or require valet parking, HIRE MORE VALETS. I will not go back until I can park my own car or you rectify the valet idiocy issue."

"The good - i had a burger and it was actually pretty good. Maybe my standards have been lowered over the last month or two, but it was fresh and cooked perfectly to order. The fries (small wedges) are also pretty good. We also had the Gyoza for an appetizer and the sauce was one of the better I've had - and I've had a lot of gyoza in my life.
The so-so - Other than the Hogan's Punch, nothing special on the drink menu, and it was just ok.
The bad... eh, not so good - I wasn't really feeling the decor/atmosphere. I know it's a restaurant in the beach, but cheap disposable plastic cups and a drab interior make dining at an Applebee's see like a fancy night out compared to this place. For the prices, I expect better."

"we sat outside, and when the band started playing, we could not hear each other speak, which stunted our conversation - disappointing. when my French Dip au jus came, it appeared to be old, dry roast beef, and overstuffed to the point of breaking the bun apart, and the sandwich falling all over my blouse several different times. we requested our waiter bring us an ashtray when we first sat down, but we had to ask him two more times before we actually got it."

"I ate here several times while staying at the hotel. The service is not quite professional and very slooooow. If you don't have two hours for a quick breakfast, go elsewhere. The quality of food and its presentation varied from day to day, peaking at average. The garish Hulk Hogan decor and the intoxicated young woman passed out in the parking lot give you an idea of their target market, which I don't fit. Great bay views of sunset are the only thing going for Hogan's."

"My son, who has been a Hulk fan for years, was thrilled with this place. Jimmy Hart, was there and posed for a picture. There was plenty of parking,as Hogan's is attached to a Best Western Hotel. My son loved the Hall of Fame, featuring items from Hulk Hogans wrestling years. I was impressed that the menu didn't "cheese up" the offerings by calling them wrestling terms,instead they chose a classy way of describing the menu features. The waitstaff was timely but, my son and I both ran out of our drinks, during our meals,and were never offered refills. Our food was very good and had generous portions. There was volleyball game on the beach and the bar was lively but respectful. Overall, a solid A experience."

"We were very unhappy with our experience at this restaurant. One of the meals did not come out the way it was ordered. It got sent back twice. It still was not satisfactory. The manager did take the meal off the bill however the person that ordered the meal left the restaurant hungry. Improvements need to be made."

My only complaint would be the over pricing for the food, as far as the amount of food we received and the quality. We had the grouper picata and a philly sandwic, $17.00 and $15.00. After the grouper I was still hungry and ordered the conch fritters, 5 for $7.50.

"The service was horrible, $15 for a small fish sandwich was ridiculous. 25 minutes for a drink is not a very good standard. The salad came 25 minutes after ordering, and the food portions were tiny. I do not recommend. Do not suggest for special occasion unless you want over priced food, bad service and older people wasted sounds you."

"We went there on Saturday night to celebrate Valentine's day since we could not go on Thursday. We had reservations the hostess ask our name and had us stand to the side. She then ask us three more times our name before we were seated. Before we even got in they made us park almost two blocks away and pay to park. There was some event going but I would think people who had reservations would have been treated better. There were too many people that kept walking all around our table and the whole place was way to loud. It too forever for our salads and no sooner than we got them the meal came. My wife and myself were not happy and will not be going back there. Our waitress kept saying she was sorry for all the noise and lack of service."

"We live down here 6 months of the year and are from Ontario, Canada. We have a lot of visitors and many of them repeat. We like to show them something different when they visit and Hulk Hogan's fit the bill. Our son is a Red Seal Chef and owns his own restaurant so we are very choosy about our food. Your food was wonderful and a varied choice. Our waitress was one of the best we have had and could not have been more attentive. We couldn't remember her name, but she is going to graduate next year as a nurse and we found her personality really enhanced our visit. The hostess also checked in on us. We were very impressed and are returning today wih 7 other people for lunch. We plan to sit outside this time. Don & Ginny McMurray"

"Mandatory $10 valet parking fee for diners, $5 to have it parked the street, but not told difference. i'm handicapped with placard and thought I got the lower fee for that but was told on leaving I'd have to go get my car and was lucky I didn't have to walk when I parked. I made a dinner reservation intending to eat before the concert I was attending there. I was told I couldn't get a table as they were only for people not going to the show. Told I had to eat outside, the only food being served out there were hot dogs.We complained to a server inside who seated us in his section when he found out we had a resv, seated 1hour after my revs time. He took very good care of us, but manager told us again we were not supposed to be dining inside."

"Surprisingly, the food was good. I had the French onion soup which was very good, and a 'Tuna Burger' which was actually a generous piece of very fresh tuna cooked rare, as requested, and delicious. While our server was clueless about the menu, she was attentive so we lucked out on good service. I did not much care for the tacky red vinyl decor with photos of Hogan EVERYWHERE so indoor ambience gets a zero. I was there on a Saturday night and if it was not for the fact that I attended an event which made for a large group, the place would have been dead. Personally, I don't plan on going back but don't be afraid to try it."

"Hulk Hogan has out done himself. This place has everything any Floridian or tourist could ask for in a beach bar. It's beautiful and sofisticated on the inside and all Tiki bar on the outside. With an outdoor bar, two beach volleyball courts and a mechinacal shark what's not to love. Don't be surprised if you spy the man himself or his former manager Jimmmy Hart. Even if you aren't a pro-wrestling fan your gonna love this place. The food is just as amazing as some of the best restaurants in town."

"Took so long to get our drinks. Food is awesome but the service wasn't great. We ordered appitizers and they took forever to get. When we finally got them our food came out right after. I think it has a lot to do with it being fairly new. Awesome sunset view. Also we put our reservation in through open table and when we got there we wanted to sit outside but we were told our reservation was for inside only. I didn't see an option to choose an inside or outside reservation so you might want to call to make your reservation instead."
