Please join us at our family owned steakhouse in Hampton Bays on the Shinnecock Canal! Serving USDA Certified Angus Prime Steaks, local seafood and daily creative specials prepared by our professionally trained chefs. "We have eaten at 1 North Steakhouse a number of times. When we were there Saturday night we were told they were "no longer" accepting the icitycerts gift cards. And, the waitress told us that there was a big sign on the door that we should have noticed coming in. When asked why, the waitress said the cards had been sold without their permission. Makes me wonder why they had accepted them previously and now no longer. Not feeling very excited about going back."

"For an appettizer I started with the imported burratta, stuffed fresh mozzerella with two types of pesto and crostini. The entree as the 12 oz dry-rubbed strip steak with garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Dessert was cannoli cream crepes. All choices were excellent and I would return to this restaurant.
Items for restaurant week were taken from the regular menu so as to give a sampling of what the restaurant can do. As I said before, I would return to try other items from their menu."

"This year-round restaurant was sorely needed and is well liked by locals and visitors. They serve generous cocktails and drinks followed by perfectly cooked steaks, chops and seafood. We've had their soups and loved them all, followed by steak cooked exactly as ordered. 1 North is as good a restaurant as we've found in Manhattan or anywhere on the East End. A big addition is their very reasonable prices."

"My boyfriend and I dined here for the first time the other night. As soon as we walked in the door we were happily greeted, even though we showed up an hour before the shift started. We were allowed to sit at the bar where the bartender was very nice and accommodating. We were allowed to sit about 10 minutes before the shift started. The restaurant was quiet as we were the only ones there. I ordered the filet mignon and my boyfriend got the wedge salad and filet sliders. Everything was cooked perfectly. The food came in a timely manner. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Already recommended this restaurant to friends and we will most certainly be returning!"

"Suggested business casual for my husband was not necessary. It could be a jeans place, that chanced the expectations of the restaurant. Sitting inside the large dining room may be a better place to sit then the room next to the bar. The food was great and we expect to try it again on a Friday night when they have music"
