"We had a reservation for 7 at 3pm, when we arrived we had to wait close to 10 minutes for them to find us a table (mind you only 3 tables were occupied.) I had asked them if we could have the back corner and they said no because it was reserved (the table was empty the whole time we were there), then they agreed on puting 3 tables together in the middle of the dinning room for us. At 530pm one of the employees came up to us and told us we needed to leave because we booked through opentable and we were only supposed to stay for two hours.
Food: not impressed
Drinks: juice with a hint of alcohol
Service: slow but tolerable until the host came at the end to tell us to leave.
Owner apologized but damage was already done!"

"We made a reservation for 5:30 thinking we'd get there before the large family crowds. Not so. It's very popular for families and crab lovers. Only objection was that we waited a half hour to be seated, then waited a considerable amount of time for our dinner. I thought it was odd that no bread, rolls,or anything is put on the table for you while you wait. We didn't sample the drinks. My husband had the king crab and I had the shrimp trio and we both were very happy. Eventually we asked for an order of garlic bread, which was also delicious. Overall, we agreed we would come back, but we'd try an ordinary weeknight when the noise level would be greatly diminished, hopefully."

"Based upon the earlier negative reviews I was hesitant to try them but I saw later reviews that were positive and I thought I would take a chance. I went there with a party of six and I was glad. The manager, Charlie was fine host and our waiter, Alan was terrific.
There is a saying in restaurant land that a good server can make or break a meal and not only was the food quite good with a very pleasing presentation, but the service was also excellent.
I will be going back and will highly recommend the Crab Spot!"

"The staff was fantastic - very welcoming and attentive. The food was mostly very good, although the stuffing on my baked clams was a little salty. Drinks were generous. Great to have a seafood restaurant in the neighborhood that can also cater to meat eaters. Nice place for a family outing."

"If you love seafood this is a place to visit. Celebrated my friend's birthday here. The food was great! The service was great! There is so much on the menu to choose from. I will be back real soon. I went a bit early so it wasn't crowded but as time passed people started coming in. I suggest you make reservations before going."

"Without seeing the restaurant in advance the menu (and its prices) give the impression that this is a classy seafood place. No!!!! It's a kid friendly (read noisy)place with over inflated prices and really average seafood - just a shade above Red Lobster. Definitely should have done more research before taking my international (French no less) guests there. What an embarrassment!"

"Nice place, the server was very attentive. I would recommend this as a good place to go on a Saturday afternoon for beers and getting sloppy with crab legs and lobster. The food was...pretty good but not excellent or anything to write home about. But again, I found the service to be excellent so I'd go back but surprisingly they are not really set up for romantic evenings. This is a great spot for large parties that want booze and shell fish. I was a little concerned when I walked in bc the place smelled of fish which shouldn't be the case if the fish is truly fresh but my date and I good meals. I'd go back with a large group on a Saturday afternoon, this is not the place for Valentines Day though."
