Bonjour! Located on NH's beautiful seacoast, The Bistro provides guests with a cozy and quaint dining experience. We have a small candlelit dining room and a separate room for the lounge which offers the full menu, has high tables, two TV's, a fireplace and a 14 seat bar. Relax and enjoy a fine multi-course meal in the dining room or pop into the bar for a beer and an appetizer...The Bistro's casual yet elegant atmosphere welcomes all who enjoy good food, good wine, and good times! "We were a family party of 15 (all from out of town!), wanting a great meal on a Saturday night; Open Table found us a long table at the Savory Square Bistro in Hampton NH, and we were delighted. The food was excellent and varied enough for 15 'locavore foodies' from California, Maine, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The food was well prepared (our order ranged from the New England classics to duck, steak frites, vegetarian zucchini linguine, artisanal cheeses, and lobster ice cream); the wine list was fine, and everyone found something new to try. The service was excellent and very personal, and we were able to have a family reunion dining experience that we all agreed was delicious and agreeable. Warmly recommended."

"Food is always good here with presentation that is phenomenal. It was a little loud the night we were there because a table of 10 women were beside us. Salads and appetizers are delicious. Had a fabulous blueberry cake with ice cream...yum!!
If you are looking for a quiet and intimate setting with delicious food this is the place for you."

"This was our first time here, we went on the recommendation of our daughter. Well worth the trip, food was excellent, service was excellent as well. I had Mahi Mahi, my wife had chicken, both excellent, but the real treat was the Gouda bites appetizer, like gourmet mozzarella sticks - highly recommended. Our waitress was personable and attentive. We will be back."

"Food was as good as, or better than, it has been here in the past. But the same strange smell of cleaning products greets one upon entry (as it has there for years). Perhaps because the rest room is right by the entry. The odor seems to follow one into the dining room and it does have a lingering effect.
One used to be able to take wines here and pay a reasonable corkage. Now, no wines at all may be taken in. The wine list has improved from the restaurant's last incarnation, but if one wants an old wine to drink with the fine food (or even a wine with a slight bit of age on it--we were going to take a 30-year-old Bordeaux this time), this cannot be done and I know in our case keeps us from dining here as often as we would otherwise."

"A small hidden gem with a warm and attentive staff. YUM! Don't miss this one. One of my favorites on the southern New Hampshire coast. The dining room is quaint and quiet for a more romantic meal while the bar/lounge area serves the same wonderful food in a more casual atmosphere. Either way you won't be disappointed."

"I am so happy we gave this restaurant a try! We arrived for our reservation early so we had a drink at the bar. We each had a cocktail which was tasty and reasonably priced! We were greeted by both Kathleen (one of the new owners) and Ernie. By the end of the night we felt like part of the family too. They are so personable and so passionate about their new restaurant. Miles, the other owner, was busy in the back preparing amazing dishes. We tried the short ribs and the duck for entrees. Both were excellent, and there were many other choices on the menu to tempt us as well. Kathleen amazed us with her dessert creations, all which she makes in house! A must try!"
