Fruition Restaurant is a small, intimate neighborhood restaurant. We are located in central Denver's historic district. We serve chef Alex Seidel's interpretation of sophisticated comfort food paired with an eclectic wine list and impeccable service. Our menu and wine list will change seasonally throughout the year.

Please note: Due to the limited capacity of our dining room, Fruition Restaurant only accepts reservations for parties up to six Monday through Thursday and parties up to four Friday and Saturday, and Sunday.

"The food and service were fantastic and they showed some new combinations of food on the menu that I hadn't seen before, which was refreshing. However, for what it was, it was overpriced. If you're going to spend money here, stay with the appetizers (pork belly with soft egg, asparagus salad, and leave out the overpriced predictable entrees (Colorado lamb loin).
It was rather quiet, although with some good background music. If you're looking for a very chill atmosphere and quiet conversations, then this could work. However, I was under the impression that all neighboring tables could hear me and I was ready to leave by the time dessert rolled around. I was glad I tried it to see what it was all about, but I probably won't go back."

"The food is extremely well prepared and lots of prep goes into each and every dish! Their menu has seasonal changes as well so there are new things to try every few weeks. Each bite fells like the first!"

"The food here was absolutely divine, I had the Halibut cheeks, as well as the lamb, and flour less cake. Everything was above expectations and the halibut was absolutely divine. Would recommend highly to anyone!"

"My girlfriend found/chose to eat at Fruition based on all the positive online reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food was wonderful. We particularly liked the sturgeon appetizer we ordered. Loved the part of town this place was in. My friend was visiting from Australia, and she quite liked the neighborhood this restaurant was seated in, and she loved the food they had. That's saying a lot b/c she is very picky and likes to find THE best food in any given area. (Fun to travel with ;) )
We enjoyed ourselves quite a bit.

"All the food, starters, main courses, desserts, are great. I had the lamb this time, and it was fantastic, but not what I had expected. Fruition always comes up with some new way to combine flavors that pleasantly surprise. I can't imagine ever getting tired of eating here. The service is always spot on, attentive but unobtrusive."

"This was my second try at Fruition after my first dining experience where I thought that the food was good but that the portions were way too tiny. I had discussed my opinions with the restaurant owner/chef and wanted to try again as it is an adorable and cozy restaurant in a great location. This time the food was excellent and the portion sizes were perfect. The wait staff was very friendly and the whole experience was great. I do not mind spending more when the whole dining experience is memorable and it defenitely was."

"Had to make reservations pretty far in advance, but that seems to be because it is a small space. The service was great, the staff was helpful as we asked about gluten free options. Everything was delicious, the pea soup, the duck breast, the flour less chocolate dessert. A very nice evening."

"I had heard about this restaurant in the Bon Apetite magazine and also on TV, so we decided to give it a try for our anniversary. The food was really good (a 5 start) and Authentic. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and the recipe was original. The presentation was also beautiful.The restaurant itself is pretty small. Our table was a 2 seater and pretty small. Our seat wasn't in the best location. Close to the entrance and I was sitting back to the hallway that was kind of narrow, so I had to squeeze in when waiters and waitresses were passing by. My husband is a big guy (6' 2") and he didn't have enough leg room. Overall, it was a good experience for a special occasion. I would recommend this restaurant for couples with no kids."

"Close to Downtown. Charming, little house. Warm greeting, excellent service. Sat in the smaller of the two rooms near the prep area. Engaging staff made it a fun table and probably quieter than the main room. I'm not a vegetarian, but opted for the Asparagus Salad (beautiful and delicious!) with their own home made goat cheese and the Grazing Vegetarian entree. Lamb was also a winner! French Press coffee, lemon meringue pie and coffee cake for dessert. Yummy! With our cab drivers suggestion of a route, we walked the two miles back to our hotel through a delightful residential neighborhood and then through the vibrant area just near downtown. Straight up Marion and then over 17th to our hotel. Wonderful evening! Don't miss it!"

"For the quality of food you get at Fruition, it is definitely worth the reservation and the money. It's well priced and the food is outstanding. "We had a great dinner last night at Fruition. They knew we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and multiple people acknowledged the occasion. We were also treated to complimentary bubbly to start, which we loved and appreciated. The rabbit appetizer, the duck entree, and the flourless chocolate cake (enjoy it with Port!) were amazing. We celebrated our engagement here as well, and I know we'll be back for special occasions in the future! Thanks for making our celebration special."

"The food was fantastic! My friends and I are outta-towners, and went to try something new. The menu looked so interestIng, and that's why we chose Fuition. We all ordered different entrees and shared. We really liked them all, but the scallops stood out to me that night. My favorite starter of the ones we tried was the red wine braised rabbit. Delicious. It was all delicious. The staff was very helpful in our selections, and very friendly. The ambience is relaxed, and quaint. Can't wait to get back to Denver and try the rest of the menu."

"I was honestly surprised at how small this restaurant is! There are only about 15 tables and space is tight. Definitely make a reservation and don't show up too early, because you will be waiting outside. However, the food is incredible. I am a vegetarian and there really is only one option on the menu, but each time the "Grazing Vegetarian" has been incredible. Plus, these guys change the menu so much that if you go once every 2 months or so, you will get something different!"

"We had such a great experience at Fruition the first time we went that we brought my mom back about a month later. She was in town visiting for a week, and going to Fruition was right at the top of the list with going to the mountains! BUT, don't go if you are in a hurry. The food is incredible and totally worth the wait, but this place is really small with a small kitchen that takes a minute to pump out the food."

"We had a wonderful experience at Fruition. We dined on a Thursday night and due to a delayed flight, we had to change our reservation from 8:45 to 9:30pm. Despite our late arrival, we were greeted warmly and felt very welcome. Mario is a wonderful host and our server was very kind and helpful. We started with Oyster Rockefeller and red wine-braised rabbit, followed by duck breast and scallops. We finished our delicious meal with lemon meringue pie and small-press coffee. The ambience is warm and intimate, great for date night or dinner with friends. I highly recommend Fruition to anyone looking for an amazing culinary experience."

"For my wife and I, this has been our favorite restaurant in Denver for years. The prices are great for a high class dinner, good service; a wonderful date! The place is small and always busy and for good reason. Now the chef has started a great practice of raising most of what he cooks.
We go only about once a year and we've picked up on an unfortunate trend in our past two visits. The plating is getting fancier and the portions are getting smaller. They have also been quite heavy handed with the salt on a couple dishes. This is disappointing to see because it has been our favorite for anniversaries."

"Once again, we had an amazing dinner at Fruition. The appetizer oysters are sublime and perfect every time. The rabbit with wine reduction was rich and well balanced. Entrees were amazing. The lamb loin with sweetbreads was tender beyond belief and so fabulous with the delicate minted spring peas (done as a puree). The diver scallops were nicely browned on top and the clams were fresh as could be, the broth was so good I ate another 2 slices of batard so I could sop it all up. Wonderful seasonal menus, it's always hard to pick, as we want to sample everything!"
