"We were at the old coffee shop tables across from Upstream. Nice to be outside for a glass of wine, but could have used a plant or two around the edge or something on the table to recognize the fact that were were dining at a restaurant. Felt a little strange. Service was great, food was very good, wine was interesting--we drank a couple of flights to try new things. Indoors, the place feels more "special.""

"Great food, fun & professional staff, AND you can go right in and buy some gourmet goodies to bring home with you! Dog friendly patio, we always have a great dining experience here. Just watch that recently instated "corkage fee" of $15 for wine bottles priced under $30 a bottle. Personally find that to be a turnoff and told them so - there are plenty of really good wines on their wine list for $20 a bottle or so, ya' know?"

"We love dining at Dean & DeLuca's outdoor patio with our 2 very sophisticated senior doggies who have enjoyed dining out with us up and down the east coast for many years. Service and food have been consistently good here. And you have the added benefit of the Dean & DeLuca store with every gourmet food imaginable right there (hey, stop in to stock up on fine crackers, cheese & your next evening's dinner!)"

"This is the second time we have been to the new wine bar and the service was awful. We sat at the bar and wasn't asked once if we wanted food, another glass of wine, etc. Each time we wanted to order something we had to waive the bartender over. The food was OK, it definitely wasn't good enough to make up for the lack of service."

"Have been here on three separate occasions in 2 weeks and it is my new favorite spot in Charlotte. I have yet to find anywhere in Charlotte that offers wine flights and it is a really fun way to try different wines. I would recommend the Driven Zin and the crab cake salad. Last time we got the bruschetta and it was amazing. I highly recommend Dean & Deluca's wine bar."
