"The food and service needs lots of improvement. It was a Saturday night, restaurant was quite empty and yet the service was slow and the food not worth writing about. The restaurant manager wasn't very attentive and though they have the bingo ball gimmick, I wouldn't go back even if the next meal was on the house! The service took so long that we opted to skip dessert and headed to Krispy Kreme for a dozen glazed doughnuts.
OpenTable needs to be more genuine in their recommendations and less commercial when recommending restaurants."

"Excellent service, excellent decor, ambiance and view however the food falls flat. My girlfriend had the chicken parm that tasted like it was cooked in old oil. When we sent it back they agreed it tasted funny. I ordered the short ribs with the ravioli from the gnudi bar. The ribs had a good taste but they werent amazing for the price your paying. The naked ravioli looked like oatmeal and had no flavor. I wish the food would have been great because everything else was. Very overpriced for the quality of the food we will not be going back."

"Our first time at this restaurant from the hostess to our waiter (mark) to our food all was just great.

Overall for a new restaurant it was fantastic, since they are new hopefully they won't lose their touch down the line.

"The service, ambiance and location are excellent. The menu is diverse however a little too rich and salty for my taste. However being from Montreal, that is a common problem for me in the U.S. I would still recommend this restaurant because the service is great."

"Food was blah! Really that's all I can say my mahi mahi was so small it came out on a big plate and there was a piece of fish you could have eaten in four bites if it was cooked through that is. Had to send back twice for extra cooking. When the fish came back there was two pieces on my plate. I guess they heard me gasp when I saw how little the single piece was. My boyfriend had ordered the NY steak which was over cooked and not tasty. VERY EXPENSIVE as well. A pity because the place is very beautiful."

"This is modern Italian restaurant with a fantastic view of the ocean. The restaurant is inside of the Sole at the Ocean Hotel and opened recently. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeble about the menu options. I had the grilled baby lambshops (5 pieces) as starter and a nice fish "Fra Diavlo" as main course.All very tasty. We had red Zinfandel wine whish was very good choice. With the check, we had a good surprise, a lottery drum with balls from 1 to 100, we could choose a number and if we win, the dinner was on the restaurant, unfortunately we did not win this time but they told us that they already had 8 lucky guests on the last 2 months."

"I attended the restaurant on V-Day night. Food and drinks were outstanding; however, the service was horrible, in fact, the worst I've had in years. We ordered the flight of food tastings and do I regret the experience! Yes, the food was ultimately delicious, but the service and the wait for each tasting was beyond ridiculous. We began the tasting at 8:30pm and the last course came to our table close to 12am.
Due to this inconvenience, you would expect the restaurant manager to at least offer some kind of discount or a drink; however, that didn't happen either. Instead, we were offered a measly cup of a ice cream for a group of 3. Yes, you read right, a "cup" of ice cream for 3!
It is very unlikely for me to return or recommend Alba"
