"We drove almost 100 miles to go to Carnaval and it was well worth the the trip. The restaurant is easy to get to and is visually stunning both outside and inside. The service was impecable. The food was excellent. We sampled every meat offering and each was great -- tender, tasty, and succulent. It is easily one of the best places for a good meal in the area. We are new fans."

"I have gone to the Brazilian Carnaval for the past few years and they have NEVER failed to please me. The service is always wonderful. The atmosphere is comfortable, but classy. It can easily serve as a nice night out (dressy) or a fun place with your friends (casual). Find out when their bands are playing and you can get a nice treat along with the excellent food. My suggestion is to get the $25 meat buffet (also include the AMAZING salad bar) - it is worth every cent. And this may be hard, but if you can, save some room for any of their wonderful desserts."

"We brought friends who wanted to try this restaurant after hearing about our previous visits. They loved the salad bar and everything the gauchos served was so good. We all had a great dining experience. We drove from Sioux city to Sioux Falls because it is such a fun evening out."

"Carnival never disappoints. While it's a little pricy, it's certainly worth it as you get to sample a wide variety of meat cuts. Everything tastes soooo good. My favorites are the signature beef, anything with "garlic" in the title, and the pineapple. Don't forget to ask for your coconut fried bananas after your meal as they are excellent. They have an awesome saled bar, but try to restrain yourself so you save room for all the tasty meat goodness. We refer to it as "getting our meat coma on". Can't wait to go back!"

"This was our first visit to Carnaval. It was very pleasant. The wait staff was friendly, the Gauchos we fun and the food was delicious! I was hoping we would have been able to sit in the dining room rather than the bar area, since we were on a date but it worked out fine. We were very happy with out visit and will absolutely be returning."
