"First off, the seafood salad appetizer sounded great. However calamari had the consistency of a rubber band. Although the baby clams were good, they were tiny. The prince Edwards Mussels were dry and tough. The dressing was very good. On to the entree. I had the rack of lamb, being it was Easter. $33.00 for 3 skinny lamb chops, and where was the demi-glaze as described by our waiter? Don't try to fill me up with vegetables either for that price. My wife had the seafood fra diavolo at $35.00. It was dry and pasty with most of the seafood over cooked and the sauce was sugary. The wine was good but again $14.00 for a glass of Chianti is taking advantage of the holiday. The Tiramisu was good. Total $ 184.00 plus tip for a sub-par meal."

"Food tasted excellent. "Chef Michael" is not flexible with substituting potatoes to pasta if a customer asks. I thought the customer should be accomadated. Fettuccini was supposed to be saffron and squid ink, I'm pretty sure I was served spinich and regular. What we were served tasted great."

"Located in a strip mall, but look past that. Nothing special about the ambiance. Once seated we had a very nice evening. Enjoyable meal well prepared. Nice variety to menu. Waiter was very knowledgable. Waitstaff very attentive. We are from out of town, but if lived locally we would definatley return."

"This restaurant is a favorite fr my wife and I when we are in Southwest Florida. The food is excellent and prepared right before your eyes so you know it is fresh. You have the attention of everyone, from the owner-chef Michael t the gentleman that greets you when you arrive. The waitstaff is attentive, but not overbearing. I would recommend Farfalle to all."

"The food was good to very good but the service needs improvement. The waiter was attempting to push more for asking if we wanted a salad or soup when he knew it was not included. Also the bus person removed plates from our table without asking if we had finished."

"The dining room is a single large room with tables too close together. The waiters kept on bumping into our chairs. The homemade ravioli was hard eventhough the pasta was homemade. The osso bucco milanese is a special on Friday and Saturday night. It was disappointing. The waiter left us on several occassions while talking with us when he was summoned to serve food. Very disorganized wait staff. There are too many good Italian restaurants in this part of Florida to make this one attractive."

"Dined on Valentine's Day night at 7p.m. Restaurant crowded, but we were greeted promptly and brought to our table within a few minutes. Maitre D kept graciously kept everyone waiting informed so they knew they weren't forgotten. "Limited" menu offered that evening, butit covered all the bases so you didn't feel that you were missing anything. Everyone loved their meal. Will return"

"Ret'd for a second visit and was not disappointed. Great menu choices and excellent service by everyone. Chef owner is always there and this makes a huge difference. Our meals were delicious, BUT,at 11p.m. that night, I rec'd a phone call from Michael, the owner. He apologized for calling so late, but told me that the busboy had found a bracelet under the table where I was seated. He had tracked me down thru my OpenTable reservation. Until he called, I didn't even realize that I had lost my gold and diamond bracelet, but when I described it to him, he assured me that he would keep it safe and I could get it at my convenience. Kudos to a restaurant that not only exceeds culinary expectations, but excels in honesty and customer service"

"We made reservations on the recommendation of friends in the area. We had reservations on Valentine's evening. Our reservation was at 6:30p.m. and we were finally seated at 7:30. They kept saying the early reservations were over extending their time at the table. This restaurant is overcrowded for the space. The waiter told us they added more tables just for this special evening. Why, would a restaurant try to cram more people in a small place to start with on this special holiday. I guess it all about $$$ and not the service. We were very disappointed. To over priced for the quality of food served. They need to take out a few tables to make the serving process a little more efficient. This is quite a liabilty waiting to happen."

"Went for Valentine's Day dinner and had a nice time. The place was packed and the servers seemed a bit frazzled. The food was excellent but the atmosphere left something to be desired. The tables were so close (within a foot or two) you couldn't help over-hearing conversations. We spent several minutes over-hearing an MD complain about patients, other doctors, and an apparent complaint about him to a disinterested spouse."

"Valentines day dinner with my wife. We know the restaurant is small and would be busy, but 30 minutes for appetizer and salad seemed way too long. The polenta appetizer tasted burnt, couldn't eat it. Wife's pasta dish was good. My veal Michaelangelo not so much. Overall, a restaurant we used to love. Maybe was just a bad night but we won't be back anytime soon."

"A thirty minute wait for stuffed mushrooms at 6 p.m., with only two covers eating, is absurd. The crab tasted watered down and cold. The shellfish ( what there was of it) in the diMare was dry and overcooked rubbery, and barely luke-warm, the coffee, first cup was cold, second cup with milk was barely luke-warm. My companion's meal he said, was not hot, (Saltimboca), but ok. His coffee was barely luke-warm and he drinks it black. This restaurant was always one of my favorites - years ago. This is the third time in the last four months that we have dined there and are not planning a return trip anytime soon. This is the second bad meal that we have had in as many months.
