"I enjoy trying new things so I liked that the menu had a lot of different items on it. For apps, we had Poutine (hand cut fries, duck gravy, cheese curd, bacon) & pita chips with 3 different types of hummus (special that day). Both were devoured by our group.

We were almost an hour early for our reservation but they were able to seat us without any issues. The booths are nice & big, which worked well for our group of 6. There are nice big windows that they open when it is nice out. One member of our group had special dietary needs due to her baby having a dairy allergy. Our server was very understanding/helpful & then the chef working that night came out to our table to go over different options with her. Outstanding service!"

"Took wife and kids there for Mother's Day. Not what I expected from the description on Open Tables. They served a buffet brunch, cooked the eggs as you like them (they were good), but the buffet could have improved. The ham was dry, the bacon way over cooked, the fruit salad soggy."

"A good South End spot where we were able to meet friends for a late lunch -- thankfully Brownstone serves all day. Good selection of beers on draft and in bottles. Interesting variations on standard lunch items, good service, comfortable ambiance and a really good french fry. Looks like a good place to catch a game when I'm in the neighborhood and the food is a notch above regular bar food."
