"I frequently visit the Renoir at the Sofitel Montreal and the restaurant is superb. The $55 table hote menu is an excellent choice and the ingredients are always very fresh. The menu changes frequently and the service is also excellent (though can be a tad slow if the restaurant is really busy. This restaurant actually is quite busy, especially considering that it is a hotel restaurant. Sunday brunch is also excellent...but reservations are a must because it is often fully booked."

"In an attempt to be constructive. I have no idea how this restaurant will compete in Montreal with its poor quality of food and wine list that would leave anyone, let alone foodies, wanting to say the least. My guests and I were terribly disappointed."
