SuzyQue’s offers a unique blend of southern BBQ. We draw from the flavors of Tennessee, Texas and North Carolina to create our own special delicacies. We use only the finest premium meats slow smoked in our state-of-the-art smoker with our own exclusive blend of rubs made in house. All our BBQ is available dry rubbed, simply seasoned, and smoked, or with one of our homemade sauces. We are committed to using only the best ingredients and cooking low and slow with real hickory, apple, cherry and oak. "I took my husband to Suzyque's for Father's Day Dinner. He's a real BBQ lover and thoroughly enjoyed his meal, especially the spicy crunchy shrimp appetizer. I loved the cornbread best of all and enjoyed my chicken. We had a good hearty meal at a reasonable price."

"Nothing bad to say about this place, it's just there isn't really anything good to say either. The service was somewhat slow, but not unbearably so. The prices are moderate ($10-$15 average per item) but they don't really equate with the quality and quantity of food. The chipped pork sandwich didn't have much taste, but it's not like Jersey is known for its BBQ. The plate comes with waffle fries, but only about 7-8 of them - they were sparse. It is somewhat cramped, there is not a lot of space, although they do have a quieter, lower lever room with more open space. This was simply a mediocre place with mediocre entertainment (a Jazz band was performing, albeit not a very talented one).
You won't regret going here, but it's nothing amazing."

"Service was atrocious, food was so fatty, sauces were thin and weak, vegetables were over boiled, canned or waterlogged. I'm disappointed, I was really hoping this would be our new local joint. The atmosphere was grimy and dark like a typical old bar."

"It was horrible service for lunch. When the food finally arrived it was cold and hard. The waitress was trying to work the bar and service tables and it didn't work. My friend had to go and get our drinks and to go containers afterall it was lunch, REALLY!!!!!!!!"

"So much food and sooo good! I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs and added the pork sausage. My 2 sides were onion rings and creamed spinach. AND it comes with cornbread! I was so full (brought what I couldn't finish home) but sooo satisfied.

"Had an early dinner at Suzyque's. Casual dining. The menu had the BBQ basics and a little more. Tried the BBQ sampler - the ribs were a little overdone. The Mac-n-cheese was not hot enough - the cheese did not melt all the way. The apple crumb pie did not have a crumble - it was gooey? May be an off night. Will try again."

"This is a great spot to hang out with friend... No dress code, Very Casual…. The one thing I didn’t like about it was the huge group sitting behind us that continues to singing out loud. Besides that the food was amazing, try the St. Louis Style Ribs. I want to go back and try the BBQ Combo Platter. This is not a date night, very loud…"

"We weren't thrilled with the smoked barbecue flavor of the food. We were hopin to get some good ribs with tons of sauce where the meat falls off the bone. This was not that everyone has different likes this is not the kind of barbecue we like."

"Granted, my reservation was on a busy Saturday night. But no excuse for an admittedly inexperienced waiter who was not familiar with the menu and clearly lacked a needed attentiveness for my party of six. The drink delivery was in spurts, the appetizers arrived with our meal - all to a sticky table that was not adequately cleaned up after the previous patrons. A couple of highlights were the personal touch of a table visit from Suzy and the gentleman who was eager to try to address the service deficiencies that were all so apparent. For a first visit, I will admit this did not quite meet my expectations, but the flavor and tenderness of the barbecue short ribs and brisket were enough for a possible second visit. The question is - when?"

"The hostess was pleasant, she took my drink and appertizer order, waitress was rude , unattentive, could careless that I was a paying costumer, didn't greet us or give her name, we started off with calamari's as our appertizer which was bland and colourless. The red chili sauce that accompanied it was delicious. I had the brisket and the smokehouse chicken, brisket was very flavourful but lack the tenderness associated with smoking meat for hours, my so had the fried chicken that was just okay, i will definitely go back but new servers are need"
