"Great food... almost too much. Our waiter was incredibly helpful in recommending dishes for individuals in our group... we had 12 for a graduation dinner."

"I requested a private table for our anniversary dinner through open table reservation 4 weeks before the event. I was very disappointed that the completely EMPTY restaurant did not give us the best table. They had "reserved" signs on the tables. There were no special touches. The menu is impressive but the taste was not. My entree was better than my husbands. The chicken was great but both of my sides were awful. My husband's expensive seafood pasta was blah. I would not return. We ordered a glass of wine and received a wine glass with a sprinkling of wine at the bottom."

"When La Bella Vita was recognized as one of the Best of the Springs for 2013, we knew we had to check it out. It was a quiet Wednesday night in the restaurant and we were seated right away. Service was terrific and before we knew it we were dining on unbreaded calamari and house bread, our salads, and moving on to the main course. Everyone enjoyed their food, whether it was fettuccine, spaghetti, lasagna, or a shrimp scampi. And the deserts were wonderful as well. We'll definitely be back to sample other delicacies on their menu!"

"This restaurant was a central point for the family to get together from around the State, and they made it very special for us. The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect for a lunch time celebration! Our waiter, Eric, was the best I have had in a long time.We hope to make this one a regular stop!"

"We went to La Bella Vita because it got a "Best of Colorado Springs"rating. Besides that the decor really needs an update, (maybe a faux finish on walls, take out carpet (ewww) & update seating), the food was mediocre at best. wait-actually the cream of mushroom soup and the house salad was good. but i ordered the eggplant parmigiana (one of their "specialties") & my husband ordered the veal parmigiana. the main part was ok but what really ruined it was that the over-cooked pasta was put on the plate with a ton of water (thus, watery marinara). it didn't look appetizing & didn't taste much better. seriously, how hard is it to cook boxed pasta? also, we never got the appetizer we ordered but it was on the bill. service was decent tho"

"The Shrimp & Mushroom appetizer was wonderful, as was the Burrata alla Bella Vita. The cheese on the Burrata was MAGNIFICENT!! Smooth, creamy - oh so good! Entrees we sampled were the Tortellini della Nonna and the halibut special. Both excellent - no complaints at all! Good wine list - although I would like to see a few more Chianti selections (especially by the bottle). We even splurged and had dessert - crème brule and tiramisu ... again, excellent and no complaints! Service was above par - attentive without being overbearing!"

"Was excited to try this place, due to other reviews I've seen by it. The websited for itself was good b/c they did post the dress code. Parking was confusing upon pulling up to the restaurant. Coming in the place seemed nice, though greeted @ the hostess stand, the hostess that checked us in was friendly. The second hostess seating us did not seem to be happy, either she did not enjoy her job or we weren't the customers she expected to be coming to this type of restaurant. Upon being seated, it seemed that about more than 5mins had elapsed till we were greeted by our waitress. Our waitress was semi-pleaseant I would say, the same attitude we had gotten from the second hostess that sat us."

"The service was absolutely horrible. We sat for 45 mind without a waiter, without bread, and only water. When our entrée finally made it, it was good. That being said, the main course arrived 5 mins later. I had to request it be sent back and that the waiter deliver the salads we had ordered. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"The food is always outstanding. We went on Valentines day and they were a bit overwhelmed and unprepared for the crowd. We were sat (we had reservations) for awhile without menus and the food took a very long time to arrive."

"My wife and I visited La Bella Vita on Valentine's Day. We asked for a private table and received a table in a conference like area-not private at all. Our waiter was so swamped with tables being sat one after the other and was unable to provide the service we expect at any restaurant. Other areas of the restaurant weren't busy at all. The food was good for our first time though the service was disappointing and probably not our water's fault. Poor management of sitting tables/guests."

"Our first time there and we thought food very good and they were very accommodating for my request to do canneloni without marinara and just with bechamel (it was fabulous with just the bechamel) and shrimp/pasta dish also very good with huge shrimp and perfectly cooked Service attentive but not overpowering. Our negatives have to do with ambience--this used to be Antonio's which had much better ambience with paneling and wall frescoes. The place now is rather cavernous and blah & the chair seats are quite uncomfortable and need cushions."

"This is our third visit in as many weeks. The food is the name of the game here: perfectly prepared Italian dishes of northern and central Italy. The chef’s specials of the day are my favorite. Fish is cooked to absolute perfection and the veal and pork dishes are to die for. This restaurant is very new to our area, but the folks who own and operate it (both Italian) have a vast amount of back ground in the culinary world. This is by far one of the very best Italian restaurants on the Front Range."
