Sea Bass Kitchen is a great new addition to Sandy Springs neighborhood serving you the freshest seafood in town. From Chilean Sea Bass to Whole Market Fish.
"My wife and I were not aware of this restaurant - we just happened to pass it. Father's Day was the coming weekend, so we said, what the heck. Well, we lucked out. The wait staff and owners were friendly and approachable; they really could not have been any more gracious. We had the grilled octopus - it was wonderful. My wide had the shrimp and scallops. She is a big fan of scallops and she. Said they were as good as any she has had. I had the grilled salmon, and it was very good. We'll certainly be back; it was a real treat."

"Seabass kitchen was a wonderful experience. The owner went out of his way to make us feel at home. The food was excellent and we felt the price was very reasonable. There are a lot of choices of seafood and everyone was done to perfection. We find that this restaurant is a wonderful addition to Sandy Springs. The restaurant is quite attractive and very comfortable. The restaurant was not noisy and we felt that the service was excellent."

"Wanted to take my husband and kids to a new place for Father's Day and although it was good, it was not great and not worth going back. The food was very mild in seasoning and so nothing very notable. The location is great and the ambience is ok, just nothing fantastic considering all the other great food choices in Atlanta."

"Service was excellent and they were all very friendly without being too overbearing. Food was hot and everyone enjoyed their fish selection. There were eight in our party and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable evening out. We ordered a couple appetizers including the delicious flatbread while we had cocktails. Loved the coffee and desserts as well."

"It was our first time here, and upon walking in the front door the overwhelming smell of Pine Sol cleaner made my eyes water, and continued to stink throughout the entire meal. We will not be back."

"The service alone would make me come back again and again. This being said, the food was also quite good. the clam chowder was the best I have ever had, shrimp scampi was a tad oily but the flavor was excellent, my husband loved his salmon and Brussels sprouts as well. And don't forget dessert! the mango cake was delish. The grilled octopus was too fishy for me but my husband liked it alright. Oh and don't forget this place has valet parking only- we don't care for valet parking so this was a downside for us. All in all we will be going back and bringing friends- try it you will not regret it!"

"We went to Sea Bass kitchen for Mother's Day. The waitress did a fine job, the ambiance was fine and the noise level comfortable. My wife had the sea bass which she said was excellent. I had the swordfish "kabob" that was ok - it only had fish on the kabob - someone forgot to add the vegetables. And speaking of vegatables, the brussels sprouts were undercooked.
The biggest problem was that the food took over 40 minutes to deliver. Now we expected it to take a while to prepare - but 40 minutes? It appeared the restaurant was understaffed.
For $30 for a piece of fish - frankly, we expected better."

"Taking my wife two teens and inlaws someplace special for Mother's Day brunch and we hit the jackpot. Great food and attentive service made it extra special. Fish was good and fresh and breads were plentiful so kids were happy. Overall an excellent time and I'll return for an evening meal one day."

"Entrees were smaller portions and higher prices than Atlanta Fish Company. Ceviche was one dimensional. All the food was tasty and pleasant, there are just better values out there."

"Expect to lay down $100 for 2 people. Salads are big enough to share. Excellent service. A little too noisy for my taste. I would rather go to the Fish Market for fish, although SeaBass has healthier sides, and it is in the hood!"

"The service was wonderful; the food was delicious especially the grilled octopus appetizer and my boyfriend loved the whole fish (red snapper). The only complaint that I would have is that the red wine by the glass was warm. That can be an easy fix for them though! We will for sure go back and bring friends."

"I wanted us to celebrate our anniversary at a restaurant we had not previously visited. I found SeaBass on the list for OpenTable. I went to SeaBass's menu. I liked what I saw and so did my husband. We take our main meal at lunch. We ordered mussels as an appetizer. The mussels were very plump and in a wonderful sauce. I had the seabass and my husband had the seafood pasta. Both were excently prepared. We had been served delicious bread with two different tasty spreads. For desert we shared a baklava cheesecake that was from out of this world. The waiter was very knowledgeable. The service over all was good."

"The place is very nice looking. It was extemely quiet with very few customers on this tuesday evening. We were a group of 6. No one was really impressed with their meal. Food was just okay. The bread was very good. Eggplant appetizer was the best thing anyone of our 6 diners tasted. Sea bass was over peppered. Trout was over seasoned and a bit mushy. Potatoes were cold. Spinach was overcooked almost to the point of being gray. We will not rush back. It was an expensive evening for just fair food."

"My second visit to "Bass" was great. I didn't leave a single bite of the Greek Salad on the plate. The Scollops were perfect. The Resraurant opens early - perfect for dinner right after work, good, quiet, close to home."

"We ate at SeaBass Kitchen for a combined Easter and a birthday lunch. The service was very good and the food was delicious. It was nice and quiet, and you could actually hear the conversations! The grilled calamari was wonderful and served whole which was very interesting. They were most accomodating with our store bought birthday cake too!"

"I was looking for a nice place to take a date and really impress her, and going to Seabass Kitchen was the best idea I've had in quite some time. The ambiance the decor and the service were top notch. The staff went out of their way to make her and I feel comfortable, and made me look really smart for picking this Restaurant. The food was out of this world! The started were Delicious and well presented, the Red Snapper was the best I ever had. Thank you Seabass Kitchen for a great evening, I will be coming back very soon!"

"My husband and I had a nice evening at SeaBass Kitchen on March 2nd. The service and ambiance was very good. The food had several opportunities to have the potential to be great, but still needs some work from the kitchen. The prawns were overcooked and the combination of the house rice with cinnamon did not enhence a fresh seafood experience. The Baklava Cheesecake was dry and lacked flavor. SeaBass Kitchen has the potential to be a great restaurant. Hopefully, the kitchen will review it's offerings and tweak their recipes. I look forward to going back to see what the kitchen will develop next."

"I really wanted to love SeaBass as I am Gluten free and see out the simple preparations where the ingredients shine without a lot of sauces. I ordered grilled octopus appetizer and a greek salad as my meal. The Octopus was OK, the salad was great! The feta cheese appetiser (forget what it's called) was to die for, hummus and eggplant were so so. My husband's whole Branzini (sp?) seemed a little overdone, but appreciated the waiters skillful deboning. We were seated on the enclosed porch and alternately suffocated or froze. I watched my friend stripping off layers of clothing across the table. I'd like to say the space felt cramped but like Rumi's before it's more like claustophobic. Not bad but not a WOW, ok for when you want seafood."

"They have been open 3 weeks when I dined here. Was a bit cramped from the setup but I'm sure they will figure it out soon enough. I had the Halibut which was decent. The salad that was served with it was very delicious. I don't drink wine and was told they are cutting out their beer selection, just a heads up for you. My girlfriend had the Chilean sea bass which was very, very tasty. A must if you dine there."

"We had a less than mediocre experience. Ordered their best white wine (Girgich Hills)and it was served at room temperature - with no chance to get it chilled further. The food across the board was average - at best. We had the prawns (a house specialty) and the were only boderline edible. The ambiance is practically non-existent - about the same as a local diner. This was all compounded by the fact that the prices were on the hig side of the spectrum - especially for what we got. And this was topped-off with a wait staff that was inexperienced (part of the problem with the wine service) and incompetent. Overall, we will not return to this restaurant and will not recommend it to anyone we know."

"Sea Bass is a welcome addition to Sandy Springs. Our entire meal was perfect and the service could not be beat. No need to go to Buckhead with exceptional restaurants like Sea Bass nearby. I had asked for black napkins to avoid getting lint on my pants, and the owner assured me that their napkins were completely lint free..he was absolutely correct. We will be back."
