Mykonos Cafe and Taverna
Mykonos Cafe & Taverna is a full-service authentic Greek and Mediterranean restaurant. Our motto is "Mediterranean...and More" because we serve home-made authentic Greek and Mediterranean inspired cuisine but also create nightly Featured Entrees that can only be categorized as fantastic. Enjoy fine dining in the restaurant or more traditional light fare in our full-service Taverna. Brunch is offered on Sundays.
The place doesn't look like much from the outside but step inside and you enter a Mediterranean oasis. The atmosphere can most accurately be described as having an inviting soothing European ambience, especially in the evenings when our world-class live musical entertainment is playing Tuesdays - Saturdays and our award-winning mixologists prepare your favorite cocktails.
We also offer catering and can accommodate meetings or special events for up to 40 guests in our private dining room.

"We really enjoyed our evening at Mykonos! What a great neighborhood venue...it's so nice to have a quality restaurant, vibrant bar with live music (!), and great food right here in the North East Heights! I recommend you try Mykonos Taverna for the first time if you've never been before or come back if you haven't been in awhile! I had the Mousaka which was served with green beans...it was really well done! And the price is quite reasonable."

"Our food was very good but server was rather over the top - too much into himself and being heard/seen rather than concentrating on his customers. Bar is noisy but we chose to sit there. Spanikopita some of the best I've had."

"Our evening was very dissapointing. We were seated without menus and eventually had to ask for them. Our waitress didn't mention specials at all -- there were some because we overheard another waiter describe them at the end of our meal. The waitress forgot to bring the wine until reminded and we were half done with dinner before it came. There were mistakes in our order but our waitress was no where to be found. The hostess was friendly and helpful but no one else in our section seemed to have a clue."

"Were there for valentines day so it was busy and staff was stretched.
Service was slow and I think we were forgotten at one point. Waiter had the obnoxious habit of referring to "we" when addressing my wife and I.
Steak had to go back to get cooked - appeared to have just been seared.
Comfortable ambiance with suitable two piece band for the evening."

"The food was very good and the service excellent. We went on Saturday night so they had a band which was very good. I believe it was the Joanie Griffen band. They sang blues, jazz and pop. If you get a chance to catch this band you will enjoy it."
