"We were a group of nine, and we had reserved. However, the staff still didn't appear to be ready for us. The first food came out after about 20 minutes, even though it was only salads and soups. After that, the main dishes came out in fairly good time, but one of us had to leave for an appointment. The restaurant was nearly empty, and the lunch took us an hour and fifteen minutes at least.
Others enjoyed their food, but my yellow curry was boring and uninspired, as was the chicken satay that accompanied it.
On the other hand, our waiter was unfailingly courteous. He was the bright spot of the meal.
I wouldn't bother trying it again."

"Took my bride out for lunch on her birthday. It was quiet in the restaurant. I couldn't find much on thlunch menu so I ordered off the main menu. I had China iced tea, veggie Spring rolls, and Tom Yum Prawn soup. A nice light lunch that kept me on my diet. There were 4 spring rolls.. I would have preferred just three with a nice sauce with a touch of back heat. I loved the soup.. Fresh mushrooms popping on the top, a few shrimp hiding on the bottom and veg in the middle. Not spicy just tasty. I look forward to going back for dinner."

"I brought my bride hernformlunch.mit was her birthday and it was our first visit.
I had China iced tea , fresh veggie spring rolls 4 of em, and a bowl of Tom Yum Prawns.
The spring rolls were good with a slit heat in the sauce. The soup was dandy.
I couldn't find something that excited me on e lunch menu but the main menu was available.
I'm looking forward to coming back for dinner."

"If you are looking for fresh, great tasting food, this is not it. It's OK but not worth going out for. For example, the lettuce wraps were OK but served in lettuce and spinach that was not chilled and looked like it had been sitting out for quite a while."

They had done their due dilli and noticed how much I love Asian-Thai food
Food was exceptional, service spot on, pricing very fair, and it was just a hole in the wall place from the front

"We chose Savory Orient for Valentine's Day, as our first time dining there, and we were not disappointed. It's a handsome and elegant dining room, that was clean and very comfortable. The menu is extensive, and includes daily specials, a variety of curries, poultry, seafood traditional Thai dishes and fresh vegetables. The service is friendly, but not intrusive and the staff is attentive. Excellent value for perfectly prepared, clean and flavorful favorites."
