"My husband and I went to Vito's Chop House to celebrate the end of a very crazy week. We had the Tomahawk Ribeye, which was very good, but not necessarily worth the $100 price tag (for 2). We also love wine and were debating which to buy. The "sommalier" was Italian and highly recommended a $79 bottle of Barollo (we had suggested our price point was the $50 range). We had explained our love of big, rich wines. We found the Barollo to be pleasant, but not worth the price. I
Also, the waiter was not nearly as attentive as we normally expect at that pricey an establishment.
Maybe we are spoiled. We had an amazing dinner and better wine at Jiko's (Animal Kingdom Lodge, Walt Disney World) 4 nights previous."

"We typically make it to Orlando for a conference each year in May. Vito's has been on our 'must visit' list for the past 3 years and we have never disapointed. This year ( 2013) was no excepton."

"My family brought an overseas guest to Vito's for dinner and it was wonderful. It seemed we had the place to ourselves for almost two hours which was great and made it feel even more special. Service was attentive, the menu expansive (which is why I chose Vito's to begin with), and the food was very good. The portions were very large, and the desserts great."

"Have gone here before and food was delicious. Somewhat disappointed for this visit. Don't think the kitchen could handle the crowd. Two of our filets had pieces spread out like crab claws and were very charred and overcooked but since very center was pink I guess that they technically filled our medium request. Asked for no dressing but waiter insisted on bringing dressing in the small dish placed on the salad plate so that the oil did get on the plate. Side dishes had no serving utensils so we really did have to eat family style. For as expensive a place as this is I did not have a great experience."

"Waiter John is extremely knowledgable of wines and extensive restaurant wine list. He spent a lot of time at our table discussing wines and wine making; very informative to my wife and me. The steak we shared was the tomahawk cut that was finalized prepared at our table by the manager Jon. The steak was excellent and presentation was as well. Jon also spent time with us and our conversation was enjoyable. We dined in the bar which was very nice."

"I was not expecting much since most restaurants aren't at their best on a holiday but I was pleasantly surprised! Our server was very attentive and treated me like a queen. Everything from the wine to the entree was delicious. The quality of the steak was great and cooked to perfection! I would definitely go there again :-)"

"What a delightful find. Vito's was a wonderful dinning experience. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. And the recommendation from our waiter regarding the 20oz filet mignon and wine pairing was spot on. Simply the best steak I've had in over a decade! A five out of five star restaurant in my opinion. Will definitely recommend Vito's to our friends visiting Orlando. Certainly somewhat pricy, but well worth it considering the whole dinning experience, the high quality of the staff and the outstanding food!"

"Brought my best clients here Apr 29 at the recommendation of an account executive. Great ambiance, attentive and friendly staff, well presented menu, nice wine list. Calamari appetizer was very good. Baked potato was exceptional. Shrimp cocktail was very fishy tasting...I am a Florida native and knowing that local restaurants have an abundant access to fresh shrimp I was surprised at this....especially for shrimp. The filet mignon was cooked well but a poor cut - stringy and fatty...again I was surprised at this considering the restaurant is focused on being a high end steak house."

"The food and service is always great at Vito's the only change that I would make is trying to change the ambiance a bit so that it is not quite as stuffy in feeling. The food is fabulous and so this is one of our favorite spots but would like the atmosphere to be a bit more relaxed."

"The lobster with ravioli was to die for!! The linguine and clam sauce delicious and huge.The Salmon wonderful. The veal chop cooked to perfection. Don't forget about their house fries.Lime mojitos were the best I ever had, just ask for light ice ( otherwise drink becomesWatered down quickly). The deserts were huge and sinful.Dee our server was extremely attentive and so was the manager.A great find!!!"

"One of my top meals ever, Oysters Trio, who likes oysters, this guy does now. Had the Tomahawk Ribeye, amazing, best steak I have ever eaten! Had carrot cake for dessert, like everything else, it was far more than you should expect from carrot cake, just unbelievable flavor, awesome. The whole meal was fantastic, this chef is a master!!"

"I was here from Vegas. I would put this place up against any of our restaurants and Vito's would kill it. Apps- Beef Carpaccio, perfect Salad- Vito's Signature, loaded with goodies Dinner- Tuscan Ribeye, Super flavor melt in your mouth Sides- Creamed spinach and Potatoes Rapini, outstanding Dessert- Almond tiramisu, Holy Cow thats great!!! "Tito's Chop House is very much worth the price! The environment is very pleasing and the food is great. The steaks are some of the best we have eaten in a while. They are great cuts of meat and or very seasoned in marinade that helps to deliver great flavor. Be warned the big cuts are big cuts! Make sure to come hungry."

"I do not recommend the filet... They undercooked it and burned it to a crisp when I first got it. When I sent it back, it came back more burnt and it tasted like charcoal. The manager was extremely rude and tried to charge me for the $40 steak I didn't eat. They did replace the steak, which they should have regardless! I had to tell my waiter that I do not want the steak if I am getting charged for it. At a high end restaurant I expected a little more customer service."

"If you are looking for an Italian style knock off of Morton's without the quality, then this is the restaurant for you. The shrimp cocktail was excellent. The rest was just tourist fare dressed up in a feeble attempt to imitate. Think: What would you get if Red Lobster decided to open a chain of high end steak houses. I could almost understand the below average fare if they did not force the table to listen to the Morton's canned presentation from not one, but two servers."

"Great food and excellent service(thank you Michael and Andrew and your support crew!).
Our party arrived early for our reservation, but were well taken care of in the bar as we waited.
We had a group of 6, so requested a round table. It worked out well, except we were located at a busy service intersection near the kitchen, so there was always a lot of traffic near and around our table. I heard only positive comments about the food from everyone in the group, and my own was done to perfection.
I would definitely return, either on my own or with a group."

"Our food was excellent. Great Experience. Nice ambiance. When the wine I ordered was not available, the waiter actually suggested a very good bottle that was less expensive than the one that I had ordered.
However, I personally don't care for the presentation of steaks at the table to show the patrons the various cuts of meat like Mortons if you belong there - you know what a filet looks like and one really doesn't need an education as to what Chateaubriand is."

"You shouldn't have your meats shown by flashlight in cellophane covering....it looks terrible so just don't show it at all. Also, the waitress didn't get the order right on two different occasions during the same meal. It took too long to get the meal especially after forgetting the appetizers and then forgetting the sides for the entree. The salmon flavor was killer delish but the grilled veggies were soggy and the mashed potatoes were thick and lumpy. I expected MUCH more."
